We decided to have some work done on our front stairs and the brick foundation needed to be repointed. We did some research and the price was reasonable with the company. Well, the first problem was that Keith showed up and talked a great story that they are a family run business, they guarantee their work for 5 years, and are very customer friendly. So we decide to do blue stone with one side rough edged and then do a nice riser. The company keeps saying that they will be out to do the work, after about 6 weeks they finally show up. I was told that the workers and Keith would be here at 7am. At 830 or 9am the workers finally showed up. The workers started taking these rocks out, and I asked what they were for, and they said they were the risers, well this was not what I asked for and not what was shown to me. So I called the Keith a bunch of times and no answer. I figured that I would have them do it anyway and see how it came out. And for the repointing and then stuccoing over the brick, it was all done it less than 5 hours. I was actually told by more than one mason that the repointing alone should take about 2 days. Then the workers put the handrailing back on. Keith just happened to call back when they were finishing up and leaving for the day. I explained the situation to him, and he wanted nothing to do with it, just that the work was finished. I explained to him that the rock faced blue stone was not installed and that a smooth edge blue stone was installed instead. After going back and forth for 3 weeks, where he did not believe me, I finally took a picture and sent it to him. Told him that I was taking 200 off the bill. Now fast forward 3 months and the handrailing is loose. He came out in November to look at it and agreed that it needed to be fixed and that somebody would be out in no more than 4 weeks to fix it. After calling numerous times January, and not hearing back I filed a report with the BBB. The BBB sent out letters to Traywick and they just happened to move or changed their address from Harvard to Westford. So after more calling, I finally got in touch with this sham of a company in the middle of March and was told that somebody would be out in the next 2 weeks to fix the handrailing. Well fast forward to the end of April and no call back from Keith and still a broken handrailing. Also the stucco on the side of the house that was done by them is cracking. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this company and Keith. They are a complete joke as are their workers. Wish I had know this earlier.

Unfortunately I am unable to provide a positive review for The Traywick Companies. Our work included a retaining wall, significant re-grading of our backyard, and installation of a new lawn. It went smoothly until I provided the down-payment. It took 12 days after they cashed my check before I could get any kind of confirmation about a scheduled start-date. I was flexible about the timing; my concern was that no one would contact me or provide a start date. I was given the run-around and couldn't get a straight answer on if the job had even been scheduled. I was told many times that the crew would be out to finish "tomorrow" and that never seemed to happen. I remained pleasant and considerate throughout the entire process, even though we were frustrated with the constant run-arounds.
With some additional fill added to the contract at the end, the ?4 day? job ended up taking over 4 weeks. I was ok with the time (I was flexible), but the constant run-arounds and lack of communication left me frustrated. Despite this, I thanked them for a good job and awaited the final seeding of my lawn. The Traywick Companies decided NOT to complete the job. They were contracted (and paid) to return to the site to seed/fertilize. After contacting them several times and being told "we will be able to get this taken care of quickly?perhaps even tomorrow," I waited a total of 36 (yes... 36) days for them to complete the seeding. The temperature for seeding came and went, and they elected to not complete the contract. It's unfortunate that I trusted them and paid in full after the major work was done. That was my mistake.
I gave the company a final chance to rectify the situation by reimbursing me for the incomplete work (not much money, more a matter of principle). They have ignored my requests, so I am forced to report them to the Better Business Bureau.
In summary, it's quite unfortunate it came to this. The workmanship on the retaining wall is well done and we are pleased with the final look. The wall was completed in a reasonable timeframe, but all other work on the project was either significantly delayed or not done at all. Communication was absent and we were intentionally given the run-around. I would highly recommend looking for other companies to complete your project. The frustrations endured were not worth the price of admission. Other reviews have mentioned poor communication and run-arounds... I would recommend paying attention to them.
