My haircuts and hi-lights are just that. There is nothing special for the price you pay or for the atmosphere in the salon. I don't like the fact I am trying to be sold on fake eyelashes that I don't need whenever I am in.

I didn't get the highlights I wanted/requested and I was not satisfied with the cut and style. And when I tried to talk to the stylist all I got was ATTiTUDE and DEFENSIVENESS. This was not my first visit (and I was happy with the services before) but this was definately my last. Prices are high, but everywhere in the area is also. I think the salon should stand behind there work and if you are not 100% happy with services they should be considerate enough to help make the client happy/satisfied or give them a refund.
Another thing: don't offer to people over priced service (eyelash extensions) when you know they are on a budget. We are not all rich!
Pros: upscale atmosphere
Cons: stylist doesn't listen to clients wants; overpriced

I can't say enough fabulous things about ultimate salon!!! Everytime i enter the doors I am greeted with smiling faces :). Their prices are perfect for the stellar services that they provide!!! Lula has been doing my hair for awhile now and let me tell you...she is amazing! When I first moved to Charlotte I searched everywhere for the perfect stylist and I found all I wanted and much in more in Lula! I know that I will walk out after a visit with Lula feeling better and beautiful. She is professional and her knowledge on all apects of beauty are beyond perfection! I highly recommend ultimate salon!

Yes the haircut was nice, but is a haircut worth over $40.00? (and that doesnt include the tip!)
Downturn in the economy? Not
for those who cater to the rich and famous. Enjoy your visit if you drive a BMW.

I don't usually write reviews on the internet; however, I found Ultimate Salon (located in downtown Davidson) through this website. Everything that has already been said on this site about Ultimate Salon is so true--this has to be Lake Norman's best kept secret! I had the pleasure of having my hair cut and styled by Ron today. He did a superb job for a very reasonable price. As an added plus, Ron is very knowledgeable about hair care and willing to share a lot of styling tips. I'm really glad that I found this gem!

I have known the owners for several years and have would not let anyone else do my hair. The entire staff is extremely knowlegable and really listen to the desires of the customers. They get to know your personality and have the philosophy that your hair style, color and care has to be a total fit with you and your lifestyle. They truly are caring people and will treat you like family. the service is A+++ the price is great, the quality is A+++. the total experience is relaxing. I like the decor and the cleanliness. I highly recommend this salon.
