Recently I went to this. In these Cookies, Burgers and Pizza are very yummy and also fresh. Here serving also fast and admirable. This is the best place for roasting bits and pieces. Next time I will definitely comeback to try them
This cozy little charming place opened up right across the street from where I live. Their good coffee I'd get once in a while allured me to go in and try their food as well. Although I went there by myself I never felt alone. The owners are so sweet, so welcoming and nice. I thought that was the best quality, along with the intimate European type atmosphere, until I tried their lobster bisque, tuna sandwiches and salads. Healthy and delicious come close to describe it fairly. I love tuna and Whole Foods is the place I shop for that. I always thought it was the best up until I tried what Eastgate had to offer. I was surprised to see they also offer beer and wine on the menu. It is definitely a place I recommend trying. They also have very nice live folk music on Saturdays and Sundays it's the open mike night. Aside from that, if you go alone, there are magazines all around to read, or you can bring a book or your laptop as they have free WiFi. In Oak Park, it is one of my favorite places to go and unwind.
I just love this small cute and cozy cafe - sorry it is more than just cafe - it is like your living room - every body can enjoy. Amazing lobster bisque and excellent steak sandwich, but desserts are yummy. Place is CLEAN and you can have a glass of a good wine. The prices are wright and it is definitely place to hang out.
Seriously this place is something that you want to come back especially because they stay open late at night. Prices are right, service is good, atmosphere is nice and the most important food is excellent - vegetarian sandwich is perfect (I'm not vegetarians) & coffee is very good. You can shop in a small boutique and find so many unique hostess gifts.
I love this place! It is very cute and cozy and they offer a variety of coffees and teas along with scones and biscotti for nibbling! I live nearby and I have happened upon the place when it opened! Great find!
Located just off I-290 - easy to come. The room was small and warm, the food was excellent and the service was wonderful. We stopped in a coolest night (Saturday) of December - what a surprise; One family - all musicians - all Santa Clauses - all knew to sing. Warm spinach-feta soup, interesting mandarin orange salad with grilled chicken and good wine. And then she went shopping, she did well! Super unique place!
I love going to the Eastgate Cafe. It's a great place for me to have lunch or coffee with a friend! I go there often, as it's in the neighborhood! The price for coffee is reasonable, with unlimited re-fills. The salad I ordered was fantastic!
I was very impressed by the Eastgate Cafe and their menu. The restaurant itself is quaint and cozy - perfect when you need some downtime to rejuvenate. The food is great too - killer homemade soups and large salads to fill you up,
