It's definitely no-frills, and as you walk in the entryway, it's a little bleak but once you're inside, it feels very warm and professional. I like massages with a lot of pressure and here they always ask how ""strong"" you prefer and it's been consistently great even with different therapists. Highly, highly recommend!!!!
You never really know what to expect when you goto a new spa. Will it be ""legit""? Will it be clean? Will the therapists know what they're doing? I was drawn to Meridian Medica because of the location (easy to get to) and the pricing (kinda amazing really) and I'm happy to report that any concerns I had flew out the window with the first massage. I've been going for close to a year now (about once a month) and typically see Jimmy or David. They're both excellent and really know what they're doing. This was the first place I've ever had body walking done and I have to say, it was terrific.\r

Definitely worth checking out.
Pros: Therapists
Cons: None so far
I treat myself to a massage here every Friday to help release all the tension built up from my stressful workweek. I always walk out feeling like a new person. All their therapists are excellent and know what they are doing. I recommend Meridian Medica to everyone I know.
Pros: I feel so much better!
I went there today because I got a gift certificate from my friend for a one hour session. The receptionist was welcoming with a warm smile and showed me to one of the rooms in the back, which is semi-private. The decor is simple, kind of zen-like, and serene. I told my therapist to focus on my arms and hands. I work at a computer all day and do too much typing. It felt so amazing. I will be back!
Pros: nice, friendly service, great massages
I am so excited I found this place! I used to go to really expensive spas for my massages that were mediocre at best. Meridian Medical's massages are amazing and at such a great price. If you're looking for a frills-free good massage, this is definitely the place to go.
Pros: skilled staff, love the music, great price
I'm a New Yorker but am frequently in Philadelphia for work. This is the only place I have found that does really good tui-na-just as good as what I get back home.
Pros: great massage
I try to go every week the do the best job especially body walking... ASK FOR Lisa she is the best...
Pros: everthing
Cons: not applicable
I have been going to this massage therapy location since grandopening. It is really helpful to relieve the tension. The tension in my prana and my spine. Dr. Wang is very good and gets better each time. Always makes feel good. Lisa is very nice, she 's very good too.\r
I will continue to attend here and everyone else should too. The front desk girls are nice, Ina and Lydia.\r

I went there for the first time today. I never trieed a Chinese massage before. It was surprisingly good. I will definitely be back!
Pros: Good massage
Wow. If you're looking to get a great massage at an unbelievable price, you have to try this place. It's only $55 for one hour and it is a really amazing massage. I've been to a lot of different places in the city, but this is definitely the best. My therapist worked hard on the knots in my back and I feel so much better. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing and the staff is very friendly. They just opened up and I'm so glad they're in my neighborhood because I plan on getting a massage once a week after the gym to soothe my sore muscles. The also have acupuncture, which I would love to try, but I am afraid of needles!
Pros: Excellent massage, great price, location
Cons: Nothing
