I can't speak for the sales department, but I spent many a dollar at the service dept. when the franchise was Menlo Honda. As for service quality, they're not terrible, but not great either. On several occasions they either misdiagnosed conditions and/or came to a conclusion of "suspecting" a defective part without actually testing it, ultimately costing me several hundred dollars in damages. Since becoming Redwood Honda, the dealership retained several employees so I suspect the same quality of service, but I note their rates have become a bloody rip-off (esp. the oil change). As an alternative, I recommend Concord Honda. They have lower prices, are more generous with their customers, and employ outstanding troubleshooters that took the proper amount of time to resolve my complicated vehicular issues.

I took my 1990 Acura Legend coup to Menlo Honda for a oil change. The service is top notch. They are friendly (and for a service department that's a first) and they are willing to answer any question(s) you may have. I would recommend this store if you want to service your car and not have to stress over anything. There pricing is fair and they are extremely professional.

I purchased a 2007 Honda CR-V from Menlo Honda in May. After negotiating a price and committing to a vehicle, they told me it would be 1 month before my vehicle arrived. I was ok with this, as the CR-V I wanted was pretty popular, and waiting or choosing a different available one was normal for the market. They were very nice, and I didn't have any problem with them yet.
My problem was how they handled the sale about 1 month later. I got a call from the salesman, and I was hopeful that my car was here. The salesman said there had been some problem and it would be 1 more month before I got my car. This was upsetting, but bearable, though I was on a time crunch since I was moving from CA to NY that summer via cross-country drive. The salesman then proceeded to tell me that if I wanted, a more expensive model was available for a $2000 more, or I could just wait. Fearing a bait and switch, but trying to give the benefit of the doubt, I told them I would wait.
Not even 1 week later, they called me saying my car (the original agreed upon model) was ready for pickup. I was angry that they had apparently tried to pull the wool over my eyes, and though I ended up buying from them (the market drove prices higher and I couldn't find a better price), I wouldn't buy from there again. I hope someone reading this will be wary of their sales tactics when looking for a new Honda.

If you're hook up to going to dealerships for oil change like me, better go somewhere else coz this Menlo Honda is not worth the money. Though it's pricey but for around $40 usually, I know that on top of the oil change I get my lines checked, fluids tap, tire pressure and the works, I'm okay with that. But for around $60 at this place with less of the service? C'mon, that's way overpriced. I always get fully synthetic oil for the average price at every Honda dealership I've been to but not at this place, I paid extra. I better go to an independent service center next time.

Great Service all around. Absolutely fine! Having spoken to four other Honda Dealers on the Peninsula and East Bay, it was very apparent that Sam & Manny at Menlo Honda wanted my business the most. Trade-in and Leasing both transactions were handled couteously and professionally. I walked out there knowing I got a great deal with an excellent outfit.

They do good work but don't seem to go out of their way to satisfy their customers. I don't feel that they rip you off but I don't feel that you get the best service either.

I bought my car from Menlo Honda and have done all my services there so far. I have had two service people be very friendly and help me with my car when I had problems and I have had no problems getting service done so far.

I purchased some replacement wiper blades from this place. They made me wait a very long time in line (about 15 minutes) to get service. When I finally did get to the counter, the lady took quite a bit of time. She had to break open her little manual to figure out exactly which wiper refills I needed for my car. Then when she found it, it took a good 10 minutes for her to retrieve it from the back. The refills were about $7 for the pair which isn't cheap either, but when you need 'em, you need 'em!

This Honda Dealer provides friendly service, but it takes all day for a minor service appointment. They do have a shuttle, but it could take up to an hour to get to work if there's more than one person in the van. Overall, satisfactory.
