This is truly a hot spot! I've been seeing their new talent, Jenn Armstrong, for over a year, before she got to Dear Clark. Since she's been at this salon, Jenn has really blossomed, and is much more free to express her talent. She's given me the best hair styles, cuts, and especially color, I've ever had! She's extremely knowledgeable and can definitely help you maintain your look or find a spectacular new one!

I've been going to Jenn for 2 years now. I started going to her when she was in Arlington and have followed her to Dallas. I love her new salon! Dear Clark is modern and nice and full of friendly helpful people! I also like that I can enjoy a alcoholic beverage while I relax and get my hair done! Jenn does an amazing job on my blonde and she doesn't skimp on my highlights ever! I highly reccomend Jenn if your looking for a new stylist and great hair!!!

I have been going to Jen for my color since April - she is fantastic. She takes her job seriously and I have always been very satisfied with my color and haircut. You should check her out...plus, Dear Clark is in the best location for all us uptown peeps!

I have been going to Jenn Armstrong for years now, and i have really dark hair, and she can achieve my wants for actual Blonde highlights! I've been to many spas and salons that could never do what color i wanted to achieve, but Jenn sure did the best job! She's very fast, so if you're in a hurry she does the best job and gets you out of there quick!Great with hair cutting and deep conditioning! Ask for the products she recommends also!Ive been using them for years and LOVE them!

I used to get my hair done at a different salon closer to my house, but when Jenn moved to Dear Clark Salon, I had to follow here there. The salon is great and in a convenient location. But Jenn is the best! I always get my highlights done by her and she does an amazing job.

Jen is the FIRST person I EVER let highlight my hair. That was 8 years ago and she has of course been doing my hair ever since. She is fast, efficient and wonderful. I have never had a color or cut that I didn't absolutely LOVE!! I haven't had a chance to visit her at Dear Clark yet but will be going to see her at the end of this month.

I just recently visited the salon Dear Clark for the first time, and I went to Jennifer Armstrong. She was Amazing, I got a Highlight and lowlight and haircut. She s so experienced that she knew what I was trying to explain to her and got it right! I ve never been anywhere where you have had a good result the first time, especially if you don't know the person. They offer drinks while you are getting your service, and she made me feel really relaxed. I will definetely be going back to her, and encourage anyone that is looking for a hairstylist to try her out.

Dallas is so fortunate to have Kaycee Clark back in town. Her experience and knowledge are unrivaled. I have difficult curly hair that I get frustrated with often. Kaycee calmed my frustration with a great new cut and taught me how to style it quickly and easily. She was very professional and didn't make me feel akward for not being well versed in hair styles and products!

My sister and I recently had the most amazing experience at Dear Clark. It was her wedding day and the stylist she had an appointment with at another salon failed to show. We were calling salons like crazy around the Dallas area trying to see if anyone could do her hair and makeup. The people at Dear Clark told us to head up there and they would take care of everything. As soon as we got to the salon the people at the front got us each a drink and immediately started finding a makeup artist and stylist to take care of my sister. It was a Saturday morning so they were very busy none the less they took care of everything! The owner Kaycee Clark took care of doing her makeup, she was so nice and did a wonderful job! As soon as she was done Maureen took care of doing her hair. Maureen was also an absolute sweetheart and she looked like the most beautiful bride! It started raining and Maureen offered my sister her umbrella so her hair would not get ruined (we had never even met her before!) This was our first time to ever step foot in this salon and they were so friendly and accommodating, my sister and I couldn?t have been happier. I will for sure being going back to Maureen and Kaycee anytime I need something done! Thank you so much for making my sister beautiful on her wedding day!

I recently had my hair done at Dear Clark and would not recommend the salon to anyone. I had read the great reviews online and had high expectations for a great appointment. I used the online booking system which was easy. I chose a stylist based on her experience and her bio on the website. My stylist was THIRTY minutes late arriving for my appointment. I can understand if she was running late with clients, but she was just late arriving to work! To make matters worse, when she finally arrived, she barely acknowledged that she had been so late and didn't even apologize. Beyond this, I was extremely disappointed with the color and hair cut I received. It does not compare to other salons at this price level in the Uptown area. I also did not recieve any type of discount for being a first time client as they claim they give on this site and I certainly did not receive a discount for all the time I wasted sitting there waiting for my stylist to arrive. I will not go back to Dear Clark and I will defintely direct my friends elsewhere too.

I wanted to write and say that I have had such trouble over the years trying to find someone who could cut curly hair - that is no longer the case. Sara Rice has been cutting my hair for several years now and I cannot say enough good things about her. She does a wonderful job and really knows what she's doing. I never feel uneasy or nervous about what my hair will look like when I leave her. Highly recommended.

Thank goodness I finally found Kaycee at Dear Clark salon! I have been to many salons in town looking for a great haircut and was always disappointed until Kaycee cut and styled my hair. She really knows what she is doing - not only do I get a great style but she spends the time to really listen to what I want. I have two kids and don't have much time to spend on my hair, the cut she gives me is easy to style, looks gorgeous and works so well for me. I have been going to her for a year and each visit I am impressed! Also, the salon is fun, hip and has a very friendly staff. Thanks Kaycee for making me beautiful!

I absolutely loved Dear Clark. It was my first time and you get a 20% off on your first visit. Everyone was amazing and nice. Kim did my relaxer and Stayce did me syle, and they did a wonderful job. I have biracial hair and they knew exatly what to do. Everyone there is super helpful and it is a fun and upbeat place. This place is the best!!! The are good with all types of styles, they do really good chic and funky styles. It was my first time cutting my hair and it turned out amazing. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great hair salon.

I booked an appointment with Joshua after reading all of the great reviews on here, and let me just say, I AM SO HAPPY I DID! The whole experience was great, right from the very start with the super easy online booking on the Dear Clark website. The salon itself is really nice, inviting and open, friendly smiles at the reception desk, complimentary drinks, etc... But it doesn't exude pretentiousness or arrogance the way other uptown salons I've been to do, even though there is no mistaking the place for anything other than the upscale salon that it is.

Joshua was friendly and warm from the moment we met, and made me feel completely at ease entrusting my hair to him. Before moving forward, we spent a good amount of time talking about my hair and nothing else, so that we were both very clear on what we wanted the outcome to be. I really appreciated this step, the whole consultation made me feel very in control and confident in him as my stylist!

My hair is naturally wavy and unruly, and was in a state of total disrepair. During the consult he recommended a treatment to help recondition (restructure? that might be a better word for it) my hair- but without pushing me into doing it. He simply explained how it would work and why I should consider doing it and never once made me feel like I was being pressured into buying a product or service I didn't need or want. I did end up taking his advice and getting the treatment (pretty inexpensive at $30) and my hair has literally never felt or looked better (seriously, I couldn't stop touching it and running my hands through it after I left). The cut was exactly what I wanted, and sitting in the chair while he worked was actually pleasant! The whole experience was excellent, and I definitely loved the results! Go to Joshua if you want awesome hair, but you better not take up all of his time because this girl will definitely be looking to make another appointment soon!

Pros: Great consult, great atmosphere, great results

Cons: If you plan on getting the 20% off advertised for new clients, be sure to mention it, because I totally forgot about it and paid full price!

I just recently moved to Dallas not too long ago, and after seeing the same stylist back home since I was in high school, I was absolutely DREADING finding someone new. After my first try in Dallas with a stylist who I shall not name left me with a way too short haircut i didnt ask for, and gross, dull color that faded in a week, the hair gods apparently decided to take pity in me and find me Joshua at Dear Clark. :P

He actually listened to my concerns before he did a single thing to my hair, and came up with an amazing idea that left me dying to get the dye off my head and see what he had created! He turned my dull, brassy, faded strawberry blonde into a gorgeous deep auburn just like I had wanted, and blended my old color in as subtle highlights. He did a cool "double dip" process to address the fading my hair seems fond of, putting a gloss color over top that left my hair insanely rich and shiny. My hair looks so healthy, rich and vibrant and feels so soft I can't stop touching it. :P

He was also sweet enough to squeeze me in for a blowdry/style after I forgot to schedule mine [dur] -- which by the way, was the most amazing blowdry ive ever had. He used one single product [which is also so awesome I bought some] and some seriously talented blowdrying/styling techniques to give my hair the crazy volume and thickness i adore. hes also intensely funny and quite good at keeping you entertained while you're in the chair waiting to see what amazing color he's created for you! He'd be worth it at twice the price - i am quite relieved and happy to say I have found my stylist in dallas. :)

Pros: amazingly talented, sweet and funny. best color and style i've ever had in my life!

Cons: i cant keep him tucked away in my purse to come do my hair everyday?

I moved here 2 years ago from NYC and was dreading the task of finding a good stylist in a new city. I have had so many bad haircuts because my hair is wavy and thick and most stylists, regardless of what I request, want to over cut and over texturize my locks and end up walking out with a style I didn't ask for and $200+ down the drain. So when I moved to Dallas, I was totally expecting to have to go through the same drama until I went to Joshua. I never looked back! Not only is he an amazing stylist, he's an amazing colorist as well. He has kept my hair long and stylish and even introduced me to some coloring techniques that have brightened and added more depth to my hair overall. He just knows what he's doing, plain and simple!

Have you tried Dear Clark? The coupon is good for any participatng stylists! What a great offer! This way you can try a new stlyist in Dallas and techniques to find your perfect fit at 20 % of on your irst visit. I love KC, she is actualluy one of the founders of Dear Clark, and the Clark in the name. Pretty cool place, stylists and they treat you like a king ( or queen) when you walk in the door. Try dear clark today, you won't be dissapointed. Amazing hair stylists, colorists, and they even have an amazing make up artist!
