Chin Chin Chinese Restaurant

A brochure was delivered into my mailbox from Chin Chin Chinese Restaurant of Smyrna, GA. A week later, I decided to place an order for 3 persons to be delivered to my home. I ordered the pork fried rice, which was disgusting to look at and tasted very stale. I also ordered shrimp with black bean sauce, mongolian beef and teriyaki chicken. All of them were swimming in unappetizing looking sauces. They didn't look, smell nor taste appetizing. I had just a little of the pork fried rice and the shrimp with black bean sauce. My brother had the fried rice, shrimp and mongolian beef. Within an hour of eating, my stomach started feeling queasy. And over the next two days, I had the runs and a stomach-ache. I lost so much fluid from my body that my head was spinning and almost ran off the road while driving. As for my brother - who up until now had a reputation for having a "cast-iron" stomach - also became sick from this food.

The only person who didn't get sick was my sister. She was, at the time, currently on antibiotics for a respiratory infection, and ate very little of the food. My guess is that the antibiotics which were already in her system prevented her from coming down with an intestinal infection. Based on this experience, I'd say my brother and I had a bacterial infection from the food.

I do not recommend Chin Chin Restaurant to anyone. Eat at your own peril! The food is disgusting to look at and the taste is not the best.

While I've never eaten in at this location of Chin Chin, we order delivery from them fairly frequently. The restaurant is about a mile away, but no kidding, they actually got our food to us within 6 minutes once. It's consistently good, although just slightly higher priced than other local Chinese takeout/delivery.

I've never dined at this particular location. However I am often getting delivery from them. It is a popular choice in my office. The food is great and with gas prices you can't beat having food delivered. The drivers are prompt and polite too.

You cannot beat Chin Chin's delivery. They had it to our door in 7 minutes, you heard me right, 7 minutes. The food is wonderful, I highly recommend the General Tsos.

it was suggested to me to go here for lunch. i went and was tremendously disappointed. the rice was dry and crunchy and the service was not very nice.
