Tucked into the corner of a small suburban shopping area, this immensely creative restaurant features an all-you can eat buffet for both lunch $7.99 and dinner $12.95. The chicken curries and tandoori are very flavorful, veg. pakoras are plentiful; great raita sauce. They always have 2 soups, and a variety of desserts, At least 5 kinds of Indian beer. Certainly worth the trip from anywhere in the metro-Denver area -- about 4 miles north of I-70 on Sheridan.

This place used to be a British style brewpub until it was bought by the owners of the Yak and Yeti in Westminster, a few miles away. They kept the best of the pub atmosphere and added the most incredible Indian food. It's a great marriage.

I'm a confirmed meat eater, but I could spend plenty of time as a vegetarian if I could live on the vegetable dishes at the Yak and Yeti. Fortunately I don't have to, as they also have an enormous selection of chicken, lamb, and seafood dishes.

Speaking of stuff I don't like, cooked spinach is usually at the top of my list. The Saag Paneer at Yak and Yeti has changed all that. And all the pub regulars are in love with the Chicken Pakora, far better than hot wings.

The Yak and Yeti is located in a restored Victorian house that actually dates back to 1863 and the homestead days, but it's been fixed up and is very comfortable and nice.

Stop by the Yak and Yeti on Ralston Road in Arvada anytime you're in the neighborhood. It's worth it.
