We took our brand new puppy to Kata's puppy class and were very pleasantly surprised at how much we got out of it. Kata does a great job being firm but fun, and brought each of the puppies (well, ok, really the owners) a long way. She's a wonderful person and the class was also a lot of fun.

We will be continuing to work with Kata!

I have been taking my puppy to Cave Canis for obedience school and I have had such a great experience. Kata Miller gives the dogs her undivided attention even though there are several dogs in the class. She takes the time to talk with you about your concerns, and then helps you achieve your goals and overcome any obstacles you may be having. I priced out a handful of schools to take my dog, and hers was the least expensive. I didn't base my decision on money, but it ended up being she was the best price anyway. I would recommend this school to anyone I talk to. I have noticed a huge improvement in my dog, and I also notice that I am more assertive with my dog during training.

My wife and I got a Husky puppy that was 6 months old and immediately looked to get her training. After doing some research online, I found Cave Canis Dog training and gave them a call. Kata was more than happy to come to our place on a weeknight after work to see Angel and us together for a free session. We eagerly signed up for six one-hour sessions after meeting Kata. I wasn't sure what to expect as this was our first time with our own dog and working with an obedience trainer but it turned out great. Huskies are known to be more stubborn than other dogs but with Kata's training we now have such a well behaved dog that we and all of our friends love to play with. Kata provided us lots of information to read in between sessions and also helped us out with some dietary advice too. I highly recommend Kata from Cave Canis Dog Training.

We first met Kata when we took Emo, our then 5 month old Pom, to Puppy Kindergarten classes. We've since enlisted Kata's help with private classes to help with his barking issues, and though we know this type of behavior adjustment takes time, we have been seeing results. We've been extremely pleased with Kata's gentle and positive training methods and can not wait to enroll Emo in more group classes!

I brought my two year old adopted aussie to Kata because he was never socialized or leash trained as a puppy with his previous owner and he was difficult or impossible to walk calmly on a leashj even near other dogs. After a few sessions Kata was able to calmly help me take control of Cody and not only walk him with her dog Lumpi, but also to walk him among other dogs at our local lakefront area with no problems. My confidence with my dog grew since Kata proved that despite Cody's impossible past pulling and disruptive behavior he could be retrained to respect my expectations of him for socialized dog behavior.

We contacted Kata to work with our 4 year old lab and my parents' 2 year old lab on leash aggression issues as well as general obedience issues. Although we have only had 3 sessions so far, Kata has already given us so many useful and effective methods for dealing with these troubling and embarassing problems. I finally feel like I have control over my dog during walks and am so grateful that relaxing, fun and pleasant walks are in our future. Kata is extremely friendly, encouraging, and knowledgeable and we would highly recommend her to anyone.

We were having dog aggression issues with 6 year old Gilbert, and Goody is just your average young dog full of trouble. Kata came to our house and showed us how to act so that our dogs will react positively. Gilbert no longer hangs over the side of the porch and scares the neighbors and Goody comes every time she is called. I enjoy living with and walking my dogs again, and I don't hesitate to recommend Kata. Thanks again,

Kata was kind enough to offer free basic training for the board members of One Tail at a Time, NFP in Chicago. She came over with her dog Lumpi and went over everything you could imagine. She also prepared training booklets for us that we use for foster and adoptive parents. We very much appreciate the time she took out of her schedule to teach us about dog behavior, there is no doubt in my mind that each one of us came out with a deeper understanding on how to care for rescue dogs.

Kata is a pleasure to work with and has helped our pups tremendously. We have two hounds (Coonhound and Beagle) which are notoriously stubborn dogs but we have made great improvements since working with Kata. We are now able to walk them instead of them walking us!! She is very professional and willing to take the time to ensure all or your questions are answered. She also continues to be as helpful even after we finished up our classes with her. She understands the doggie mind and is patient with helping us understand as well

Kata is wonderful, what more can I say. My boyfriend and I recently moved to Boston from Chicago with our now 4 month old Olde English Bulldogge. Pete is a stubborn little guy but he really responded to Kata very well. We will be continuing our training with her for as long as we are in this area. Highly recommended :)

I highly recommend Cave Cani. Kata has been great working with my dog, a high strung Boston Terrier. We have made a lot of progress after just a few session. My family and I could not be happier with Kata's training.

Working with Kata was awesome! She's extremely knowledgable, friendly, encouraging, and is a great teacher with great training methods. Even though it's been months since my last training session, she's always been there to answer my questions and give advice. Thanks to her, both my puppy and I are happy.

Even though Cave Canis Dog Training is hundreds of miles away from where I reside, Kata is still a wealth of knowledge. My sheepdog puppy and I are forever greatful and look forward to a continuing friendship.

Kata has been wonderful. she knows how to train dogs in a positive manner no matter what language you or your dog speaks. She makes all the dogs comfortable from the wired terriers to the scared shi-tzu's. It has been a pleasure working with her.
