The pizza here is actually not that bad. Still, I won't order from Lenzini's ever again.

More and more places in Los Angeles (and, well, everywhere else, too) seem to think that they can treat you like poop and you'll return, drooling and glassy-eyed, for more abuse. Customer service hardly exists anymore.

Take Lenzini's. They're rude, and that's fine. It's a pizza place. Some folks think rudeness adds to the charm and aesthetic. The problem is that when they screw up, the rudeness becomes less quaint.

The first time they screwed up: We ordered the two-pizza special, which comes with two sodas. We asked if we could get one bottle of water in exchange for the two sodas, and they said it was fine. When they delivered the pizzas, not only had they charged us for the bottled water, they didn't bring it - or the sodas.

The second time they screwed up: We ordered the special and mentioned the charged for/missing water - silence. We pick up, and again there's no beverages(s), and no credit. When we get home, the pizza is wrong (we ordered ham and pineapple, they sent plain old pineapple - who orders just pineapple?). We call, and are told "you're the ones who screwed up." Yes, they said that. They said they had no plans to fix our pizza, and added, "Why is there always a problem with you people?" before hanging up on us.

I'd love to think that something like this matters to you gentle readers. I understand that it's just pizza. These guys didn't kick me in the shins or run over my dog. They're not causing cancer (just clogging arteries). Still, this should matter. Treating people - your CUSTOMERS! - with respect and kindness should be the baseline, right? Show these pizza thugs that we're not going to take it anymore - BOYCOTT LENZINI'S FAMOUS!
