Ok..this restaurant is under new ownership. It used to be Greek with delicious food. Now it has 3 Gyros which aren't right...and it turned it to greasy burger joint. We ordered a gyro in a pita and I had to put it together myself, sauce on the side, some kind of preformed meat that was supposed to be lamb, tomatoes, large chopped onions and no lettuce. The pita was greasy from the grill. It came with fries or soup. I said I don't want fries, so they said I could have cream of spinach soup. Didn't want that either so my friend took it. We got water...never got them refilled. Finally asked for lemon and they refilled them. We sat there for an hour and 10 minutes without food. If I had my own car I would have walked out. We went there since a friend knew the cook....well it was as greasy there as when he worked at where we live where I never ate anyway due to the smell of grease. Was totally disgusted and the dog will eat the rest tomorrow. Sorry but this place has changed, Everyone for the lunch crowd got served before we did. The waitress came over and said the cook is doing it with love for you.. I said the heck with love, give us hate and put some food on the table. I wish it was like it was.

Cafe Afify is the best dining experience we have had in the Phoenix area. The service we had was excellent. Furthermore, the food was delicious. The Tabouleh was a hit with my family. My daughter loved the Falafel. I suggest if you are tired of mall food, drive across the street and eat at Cafe Afify.

We enjoyed dinner with friends at Cafe Afify. We ordered the tabouli and baba ghanoush as appetizers and shish kabob for dinner. The lamb kabob was delicious, but my favorite was the tabouli!

The decor is a bit stark and could use some warmth and color, but it was pleasant and the server was attentive. The food was plentiful and we ended up taking home a doggie bag. Prices were a bit higher than expected.

Hurrah-a Lebanese restaurant in Anthem! This really expands my options as a vegetarian. Everything is made at the restaurant and you can tell. The falafel is made to order so you have to wait for it to finish frying but it's so light and crispy when you get it that it's worth the wait. I made a meal out of the appetizers. The hommus and tabooley were really, really good! They have a vegetarian eggplant main dish that looks delicious so I'm going to try it on another visit.

The chef is very kind and came out to see if I liked the food. It's an informal, comfortable, family-owned restaurant--something you don't see too much of these days.

The map on this site shows the wrong location. Cafe Afify is south of the outlets, inbetween Discount Tire and J.J.'s.
