If you can't pay everything up front, cash/credit they won't even give you the time of day. They want huge deposits before they will even examine your pet. They wanted $2,000 from me as a deposit just because my dog cut his leg. All the vet kept telling me was "Show me the bucks, show me the bucks". I think these people would seriously maim your dog if there was a chance it would make them more money. The vet thought our dog would do better it they amputated his leg. Thank God I stopped the vet. In 10 days time our dog was as good as new and fully recovered.

So it cost me $2,300 to have 12 stitches put in my dogs leg. These people claim "We run an emergency clinic, they cost more to operate". BS. My vet said her charge would have been about $300 for everything and she was even shocked about the charges.

Fortunately my dog recovered with aftercare from our regular vet.
The people who run this clinic need to be put out of business and thrown in jail. They are criminal in the way they treat animals and charge their customers.

The animal emergency clinic just up the road in Conroe is much, much better and their charges are more in line with what a regular vet would charge.

This place is horrible. Do not take your pet here they, they will rob you blind. Our pet was playing with the other two dogs that we have and hit the window. The glass shattered and there was a nasty cut on his leg. We rushed him here and after seeing that he was a pit bull the receptionist had to go to the back for a few minutes. When she came back she had me bring him straight in and put him in a kennel and walked me out. After about 15 minutes we were brought into a room and told to sit and someone would be with us in a few minutes. 30 minutes later a very inexperienced vet tech (I'm your vet tech tonight, I guess" is what he called himself) came in and mumbled a few things to get our dog's history. He left and said the Vet would be in to see us and we waited another 45 minutes before he showed up. When he came in he told us the cut was a minor skin laceration with no muscle damage, but it would need to be stitched up and he would get us a quote. The whole time that this is going on we are listening to our dog whimper in pain and they are laughing and telling jokes in the back. The technician come in and gives us a quote of over $1000 to stitch up our pet. I politely refused and asked the return of my pet with a bandage and some antibiotics so that I could deal with it in the morning. This place doesnt care about your pets, they care about money and if you have what is considered by most people to be an aggressive breed you are given an astronomical bill. By the way I have two other dogs that have both been here (the two that my pit bull was playing with) and was never treated this way. I will never return to this place and I suggest that you don't either

First this is an emergency vet clinic so it will cost you more than a regular vet. My male cat lost the use of his back legs at 8:30 pm and it was an emergency. He was in pain and it could not wait until the morning. From the time I walked in until I saw the vet was about 15 minutes and most of that time was filling out paperwork. They got right to him and it was not good. He had thrown a clot and was in terrible shape and in pain. it was painfully obvious what needed to be done. The vet and everyone working there could not have been nicer. Everyone sat with me while I held Buddy and we had to put him to sleep. I knew what it was going to cost before they did anything. I wanted his remains cremated and they offered me two different ways to have it done and I chose how he would be cremated.
Yes, my preference was to not have to go to the vet at 9:00 a night but I did. I knew it was going to cost me but I also knew it had to be done. Over all it was only about $100 more than what it would have cost me to go to my regular vet.
You pay more for going to ER when you get sick so expect to pay more for taking your pet to a vet after hours.
I have nothing but good things to say about the way i was treated here.

April 24th, 2012 our cat was showing signs of a UTI. We took our cat in and the Vet told us that they could not get urine from our cat and needed to do xrays. They then proceedes to tell us that they believe that she was in kidney failure and needed to do blood work. Then after the blood work they told us she was in kidney failure. My husband decided to put her down. Then the doctor talked him out of it saying she was not that bad and we could control it by hydrating and diet and recommened we take her to our regular vet in the morning. $580 dollars later we were at home with antibiotic for UTI. The next morning we took her to our regular vet who had received the paperwork from the ER VET and they said they wanted to do thier own blood work and get a urine sample etc.....They handed me the estimate and it was $130 I said go for it. After they checked her out throughly they came back and told us she was NOT in kidney failure and that she only had a UTI and that she can continue to eat her regular food etc....she was fine. I started to cry. We had almost put our cat down by being given the WRONG information. I will NEVER go here again! My vet said this is not the first time they had this experience with this ER

One night our cat can into the room not using one of his paws, he was protective of it and wouldn??t let us check it out, in addition it was inflamed. After arriving with our cat they spend almost 30 minutes to fill out paper work get out information and get a deposit of $75 just for a evaluation. After the 30 minutes of paper work and waiting in the lobby we were lead to a room where we had to wait for about 40 minutes longer before a vet tech, not even the vet came into the room for a evaluation. After looking at him for for around 2-3 minutes she brought our cat to the back room for the vet to look at. Almost 1 hour later they finally came back into the room and told us that they didn??t know what was wrong with him and told us they could just give him pain med and hope it get better for $150, do blood work for $700, and we could add an X-ray for a total of 1000! Highway robbery and atrocious waits, these people are in it for the money not to help pets. They are very quick to try to get you to charge ever thing to your card. They also try to get you to sign up with their credit plans the second you wince at their prices.
We ended up with the pain meds and brought him to a real vet in the morning. The real vet took 15 minutes from the time we went into the room till we left ended up that it was an insect sting on his paw. Some antibiotics, a pain shot, some cream and $110 he was doing much better. I am just glad it wasn??t anything serious. We told the normal vet about our experience they told us they never recommend anyone go there. If we had an issue in the evening again to spend the extra 15-20 minutes to drive to Conroe Emergency Vet.

Last night my pet was hit by a car and terribly injured. My husband and I rushed her to this clinic to see what could be done for her, but we were concerned because we are on an extremely limited budget. I am an EMT and in my profession I have seen the full gamut when it comes to quality of care. I have seen everything from appalling to astounding, and I wasn't sure where this clinic would fall on the quality spectrum. Having never used an emergency pet care facility before, I was apprehensive as to what we would experience at this facility, especially given the severe condition of our pet and our financial limitations. What we found was nothing short of phenomenal. The service was exceptional from the moment the receptionist picked up the phone and guided us to their location. Not only was the quality of care outstanding, but the atmosphere and the attitude of the staff proved that they do what they do because they love it and it is in their blood to help others. It was so clear they don't show up simply to draw a check and go home. The staff did all they could and bent over backwards to work with our limited budget and extenuating circumstances. Unfortunately, our pet was injured beyond repair and we had to put her down. I was so very deeply touched by all of the staff and the kindness and courtesy extended to us. Our experience was truly overwhelming and completely unexpected. My husband and I will never forget what the staff did for us and our pet. When I was in EMT training, my instructor told us, "as an EMT, you have the honor of being the best part of your patient's worst day." I believe the same is true in the veterinary field. The staff at this clinic was truly the best part of the worst day we've had in a very long time.
