An astounding time every time I go. The atmosphere is dark and seductive, the cocktails are dangerously delicious, and the entertainment is world-class. Vince Mira plays most Tuesdays and will rock your world with his passionate renditions of classic Johnny Cash. The Can-Can Castaways, choreographed by Rainbow Fletcher, are a troupe of sexy, bemuscled physical artists and aerialists who put on a show edgier than Teatro Zinzanni and darker than Cirque de Soleil. Entering the Can-Can is entering another world and leaving this one behind for a few hours. Highly recommended!

Wow, I didn?t know places like this exist! I came in for Valentines Day. My boyfriend and I arrived early so we lounged at the bar until our table was ready. It was super busy but the bartender Sean took time to stop, explain, and help us pick out a flavorsome cloudy green Absinthe. The following AEROBOTRON show was marvelous! The show incorporated hilarity, hot but tasteful dance moves, and seemingly impossible acrobatics with an amazing musical soundtrack. The service was friendly and helpful. Our server helped us pick out some amazing absinthe cocktails as we sipped our champagne and checked up on us frequently despite the fact it was a busy Valentines Day. The food was good. The server recommended a delicious beet salad followed by an equally tasty Pork Cassolette with Creme Brulee for dessert. The show ended around midnight and my boyfriend and I stayed for the following dance party. We ended the night by having drinks with the performers in the bar. Theres nothing like it in Seattle! I'll tell my girlfriends.

Pros: Marvelous show, amazing drinks, great service.

Cons: Parking is tough (give yourself time to park)

$hitty service at the Table! Our waitor was an ass....Group of Ladies out to have a good time and he could not be bothered. If the tip was not already put in the bill at the end I would not have tipped him at all.... Sad thing is that we could have spent ALOT more money. There was 0 customer service!

We will not be returning. We were extremely disappointed with the service. Our waiter was very rude, food took over an hour to get, it was cold, and for dessert we got canned pears while the rest of the show got creme brule. Our waiter was unapologetic and said that was all that was left. All of our wine had sediment in the bottom and our waiter refused to give fresh pours. The show was good but the service made us want to never return. If you do go, skip the food and just drink..

I have now been here a half dozen times and there's always something great and fantastic going on in the show. This is no fluke...it takes a lot of talent to make an hour and a half show unique and spellbinding month after month, and this is hands down one of my favorite places in seattle. These guys take talented dancers and clever dance numbers and somehow find a perfect balance of humor and grace. The cast members all have distinct roles that fit them perfectly. Johnny Boy and Rainbow have an amazing chemistry together. Faggedy Randy (awesome name) is one of the funniest and most talented dancers I have seen. The other cast members had great numbers too and work well as a group. And the belly dancer tonight, Najla, was absolutely mind blowing-sexy and cool and exotic. What a great mix of performance numbers. Drinks are good, food is mostly good, service gets a bit backed up but the drinks are strong and the drinks always arrive. The ambiance is truly Parisian, it reminds me of the numerous cabarets I visited there, and it's a place I strongly recommend for birthday parties, bachelorette parties, but most importantly, it's a TRULY great night out in Seattle for anyone who wants some sizzling dance, amazing music, and deep laughs.

Pros: Amazing, talented and funny dancers. A fantastic night out for Seattlilites and visitors.

Cons: Some seating is a bit off center to fully see the stage, but it's totally workable.

Looking for something unique? Bachelor/bachelorette party? Birthday celebration? If you can handle something a little risque this is the place. I had been to the Can Can and was already a fan and decided to reserve a table for my friend's bachelorette party; hands down- the highlight of the night. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, the service is great, and the show is as fun as it is unforgettable. It was a bit hot but I couldn't tell if it was the room or the performers. Even with a big group which was late with a few stragglers they were extremely accommodating. I cannot stress how amazing the show is; the performers are AMAZING! Be sure to make reservations to get a good seat and be ready to be entertained.

My girlfriends and I celebrated a friend's bachelorette party at the Can Can and had a great time watching the performers. I'd never quite seen a burlesque troup quite like it. Entertaining, amusing and $exy! As I headed to the bar, I was put off by the $20 minimum bar policy, (even with cash) and decided to wait on my drink until after the show . A friend had too much to drink that night and two of the staff members were snickering and rolling their eyes, when they saw her knees buckle, as I helped CARRY her outside and NEVER offered to call a cab, loan a hand, or even ASK if she was okay. I was not impressed and felt a strong urge to $LAP the smirks off their pretty little faces. I will NEVER go back to the Can Can after an experience with the staff like that. What a shame to have such A$$HOLES work at a potentially great venue.

VIP is the only way to go - $40 per ticket includes $25 voucher for food/drinks with a table close to the stage. Amazing performers, reasonably priced drinks, good food. I would recommend this place for groups, especially bachelorette parties.

I think the performers might have been talented, hot ,and entertaining, but unfortunately all I could see was NOTHING! All the tables were set up in a way that only the front row could see the stage. The DJ was good, I enjoyed his/her original mixes. As I was left with the food to rate this venue, it was as good as your average Swanson's take home dinner. DO NOT ORDER DESSERT. Don't bother with the food, drink instead, at least then you can convince your self the evening was worth leaving home. I will never go again, and I would only recommend to an enemy.

I Took my wife for her birthday a few weeks ago on a Sunday for dinner and "The Breaking" vaudeville show. The ambiance felt like something out of Puccini's La Boheme. We half expeced to see Mimi and Rodolpho seated nearby. It was fairly crowded by showtime so who knows, maybe they were? The drinks were well made and the service was fine. Our waitress was attentive suggestiing a muddled berry and champagne matrini called a Bella Ruse (I think?) that was tasty. My wife had a Margarita that was fair, commenting that she has had better. The food was good and intersesting. The Can Can salad and the buffalo lasagne are both great choices. The chicken was good but unmemorable. The show, "The Breaking", supplied with live music courtesy of "The Bad Things" was a pleasant joy and highly recommended. The place was packed with a mostly twenties crowd who came to see the enegetic dance troupe that did amazing things with the limited area they have to work with. It is the kind of place I would without hesitation take out of town visitors to experience. Overall it was an enjoyable evening, although a bit more pricy than expected. It's great to know that there are young bohemians entertaining the masses in places like The Can Can.

Great Staff. We love coming here for the terrific service and treatment we receive. The bartender "Zack" is one of the best in Seattle. We really have enjoyed the shows....It makes for a wonderful time for friends visiting and showing off our great city. The dancers are beautiful. It's a wonderfully dark bar with lots of atmosphere

Came in for a friday night show. The place is amazing inside! Look like a turn of the century french speak easy. The bar is small and low giving a really unique feel. There must be more bottles behind that little bar than any place in seattle! The bartender was crazy busy but got to us really fast it was impresive I don't think I've seen a bartender that fast before. He was really nice and made us the best sazarac's. We had to stand for the show but found a nice rail to lean against and set our drinks on. The show was amazing! So dark cool. I can bearly describe what went on the stage. There was a really hot belly dancer that my wife wanted to take home with us, then there were these rad guy dancers that were doing all these flips with ropes, also there was this amazing tiny girl that was crazy flexable and super talented dancer. Also some of the show was really funny. Just all over the best experience! If u come down prepare for an awesome time and a potential hangover (there drinks were strong)

Had been hearing about this place for ever. Friends of mine kept telling me about there cocktails and great selection of booze. We came in on a wednesday and the girl at the front door said there was a $5 cover for the show in an hour. Wasn't expecting that but figured we could check out the show and the bar. Zach was our bartener which i was glad to see because my friends had told me that's who i needed to see. He was very friendly and gave us cocktail lists right away. I ordered the Lethargy cause i like gin and the name was funny. It was awsome! real light but strong. My budy this crazy drink with whole egg! It tasted just like egg nog except with a lot of booze. After a couple drinks the show started. Amazing! There was rad skinny girl that could bend herself into all sorts of crazy positions, and really strong guy that was doing all kinds of flipping on ropes. All of the music was rad they even played gogo bordello! After the show Zach poured us some amazing scotch. There was so many we just had him pick. Can Can is my new favorite place.

Back again on a sunday to see Zack are new favorite bartender! Came in when they opened for happy hour with my best friend. Zack remembered me with out my saying anything even though it had probably been a month or so since my first visit! He even remembered what I had been drinking on my first visit! He right away let us know about there terrific happy hour. I ordered his special bloody mary amazing! Best in town for sure. we ended up trying most of the cocktails. Everything was way above the par of most cocktails in this city. but more than anything Zack was so pleasent. Then we decided to stay for the show. Outstanding! I've never seen that kind of dance before. I thought it was supposed to be just dancing girls. The guys were awesome! Going to keep coming back on Sundays!

I brought my girls there for my birthday yesterday, and had a blast. It was all of our first times. The crowd made our drinks and food come out a little slower than we had expected, and made it a little stuffy being that there was no real good ventilation in the downstairs level of the building. But overall, the crowd just added to the excitement during the shows when acrobatic tricks were happening or burlesque ladies were dancing. Everybody was laughing and cheering on the acts. My macaroni with beef filet was delicious, and our server was very accomodating and nice. Enjoyed it alot!

Went in with my girlfriend last night. Some friends had told us about the shows that happen there. It blew our minds. I can't believe it was only 10 bucks to get in there. The place was crowded and there was nowhere to sit. It took a while to get to the bar for drinks but after we finally made it up there our drinks were made quickly. The bartender was slammed but still managed to make our Manhattans perfectly. He put dark cherries in them instead of marichinos which was a nice change. It took a little squeezing and elbowing but we managed to find a great place to stand and watch the show next to the sound guy. We have never seen anything close to what we saw last night anywhere, ever. The variety of acts was great, the costumes were amazing and the dancing was phenomenal! We were a little bumbed about not being able to sit at first, but once the show started we had no problem standing at all. We wish we would have known about the Can Can sooner! We are excited to go again and we already made reservations for next week so we can sit down this time!

Last night a group of friends and I went to the Can Can to watch the new show Kabaret Verboten. Let me just say the performances were amazing! We have been to a couple other shows at Can Can and this was by far the best experience we've ever had there. We showed up at 8pm to get some dinner and some drinks and celebrate my friend's birthday. Our waiter Patrick was the nicest (and cutest!) server EVER!!! We wanted to "Pat" his little booty all night. We didn't know what to drink so he recommended this drink called, a corpse... something. It didn't matter we would have drank anything the cute cute CUTE waiter gave us. The Corpse drinks were so good we ended up drinking them all night. We will definitely be back again for more Patrick!!! Highly highly highly recommend the new Verboten show! All the dancers are so fit and gorgeous! Why isn't Patrick on the stage? We want to see some skin!!!

Well, let?s see. After reading previously submitted reviews about the service at the Can-Can, it seems as if I wasn?t the only one who was disgusted with the quality of service I received at the Can-Can. One night on a walk home a friend and I decided to stop in for a quick drink. He ordered the usual beer (which wasn?t too troublesome for the bar tender Zach) and I asked for a recommendation for red wine. The tender Zach poured a small amount of what he said was his favorite, which I appreciated. Unfortunately it wasn?t what I was looking for. I named off a couple wines that I did like to see if he could find something comparable. While he took his time to get back to me ringing up other customers that had arrived after me and my order, as well as doing dishes and other tasks unnecessary before my order, he finally returned with a different wine. While pouring my glass of red, Zach continually talked down about the wine. It wasn?t his favorite, he didn?t like the taste, it was a cheap wine, and he wouldn?t choose to drink it, never saying anything positive or being appreciative that I actually liked it. I followed his bad salesmanship and rude communication with a small taste of the wine, and loved it. In my opinion, when I sit at a bar and ask for a recommendation, that?s what I want. Not an opinion, badgering of my choice of drink, or nasty looks that I chose a wine that he didn?t like, as if I were doing it to intentionally upset him. In short, no matter what Zach?s opinion of the wine was, his loyalty should have been to his job, his customers, and his sales. His lack of communication skills, friendliness, and a smile every once in a while has ruined my appeal for the Can-Can. As I have heard the same from several of my other friends and co-workers about not only the service in general at the Can-Can, but Zach specifically, I will never recommend this facility to anyone as every time I have gone, Zach has treated my guests and I terribly.

Pros: Great atmosphere. Love the Spanish coffee.

Cons: Zach and any bar tender comparable to him.

.

I went to the Can Can last night for the first time with a friend because she recommended to Spanish Coffee. From the moment we ordered, the bartender Zach was openly hostile and downright rude. Giving the place the benefit of the doubt, we thumbed through some of the drink books that they have at the end of the bar and decided to order a couple of cream/Amaretto based drinks. Zach grudgingly began to make our drinks, but managed to take the time to comment to customers at the other end of the bar that "You couldn't pay me enough to drink these." and "These drinks are making me nauseous."
Good salesmanship, buddy.
After waiting for 5 minutes for our drinks, (the bar wasn't crowded, mind you) he brought them over and asked how they were. They were good and we told him that. His response was, "I bet it's like drinking linguini."
Good salesmanship again.
Finally, we'd had enough and asked for our tab. After waiting for another ten minutes, while he busied himself making other patrons drinks and cashing out others still, I asked AGAIN for our tab.
"Sure thing. Sorry"
Each of our drinks were $9.50
As we counted out our cash, my friend said, "Who's the bar manager?"
"I am" he replied, "Did you have a question?"
"Nope, just wondering."
We left him his .22 cent tip and left, utterly disgusted.
I'm 33 and have been to a lot of bars. This was, by FAR, the worst service I have ever experienced. Without hyperbole. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to that bar. If you do go there, check if Zach is working the bar and if so, there are a lot of other places to go where you won't be treated like something the bartender scraped off the bottom of his shoe.

Pros: Neat atmosphere

Cons: Bartender is one of the rudest people I've even encountered

I went here with a group of friends. Service was horrible. Everyone seemed caustic and confused. The show was alright. We waited too long for drinks and dinner. Waitress tried to give us our salads after our main course. When we said never mind the waitress did remove them from the bill. The food was sub par. I will go back for a drink at the bar and the show. I feel like they deserve another chance... but be warned!

So, initial impression was pretty good, nice atmosphere, very trendy. Mildly entertaining. Got old really quickly. We were the last of our large group to arrive, and no waitress was to be found. Ordered our drinks with our dinner order (45 minutes after arrival). Ordered 3 pitchers of sangria, one of which came 30 minutes after the order, one of which came with dinner (1 hour later) and the last of which never arrived (and we were of course charged for all three). Sangria was full of debris, fruit pulp of which type was indiscernable. Food tasted okay, the water was pretty gross. And since I never again got asked if I needed another drink, I wasn't too drunk to care. Once home, I fell sickeningly ill. Pretty sure I had dysentery. Woke up an hour later with an unbearable urge to upchuck and defecate at the same time. In the morning felt as though someone were stabbing me somewhere under the rib cage on the right side. All in all, pretty much the worst night ever. And the show was mildly entertaining. Got old really quick. Served only to temporarily distract me from the terrible and SLOW service.

I went to the Can Can for the first time on Saturday night for a bachelorette party for my best friend. There were 11 of us at our table but several other bachelorette parties sitting at very nearby tables. At first glance, the atmosphere seemed fun and upbeat and the staff pretty friendly but my opinion quickly changed as the night wore on. First off, the first round of drinks we ordered took a good 30 minutes to arrive. We could only be so lucky for the 2nd and 3rd round of drinks, as they arrived even more slowly. Water was also slow to come which was irritating because the temperature became somewhere around unbearable about 20 minutes into our dinner. The staff was not, by any means, accomodating, forgetting to bring our champagne that was included in the "bachelorette package" that we ordered and previously paid for, and charging us for Sangria that was never brought to the table either. The show was mildly entertaining but the place was so packed, it was hard to see and really enjoy it the performances. After the first hour of a man in suspenders playing a spoon (get over it, the Spoonman act was cool in the 90's), we finally decided to leave. But don't worry, the effects of this place weren't over and as they back in the form of a terrible illness (you know the one) hours later for the three of us that dared to eat the lasagna. (I forgot to mention, the menu offererd a total of 5 entrees, not of which seemed appetizing. I only reluctantly ordered and ate the lasagna.) I was up all night and looked dreadful at my friend's bridal shower the next day. (One of my other friends was unable to attend the bridal shower as she was too sick and had to stay near the restroom.)Avoiding the buffet line and chugging Ginger Ale made me look especially hung over when that was so not the case! This place is over-crowded, over -rated and apparently over run with the E. coli virus. Thank you Can-Can for ruining my Saturday night and most likely, my ability to ever eat lasagna.

I can see why it got bad reviews from some people, I wouldn't chance planning on eatting dinner there, but for a late night snack and drinks it is good. The stage is TINY, and I think there are only about 4 good seats in the entire place, but enough can be seen from farther back to make the experience worthwhile. There were at least seven bachelorette parties there Sat. night, which was annoying. Performers appeared to be real proffesionals (minus one), and were very good, cover wasn't unreasonable. Like other reviewers said, service was slow, and nothing started on time, but at least if you expect that is the case, then it isn't unbearable.

I've heard negative comments about this place before, and someone who actually works at this establishment writes back in a complete sarcastic manner???Nice way to run a business. These pages are for people to review, not for employees/owners/managers to act completely idiotic.
Seriously are you the manager or owner? I hope not.
I've been there, and won't go again. They forgot our drinks ...they placed us in the entrance and we had to ask the young lady at the front to keep telling bar patrons to not block our view. And honestly, the show wasn't anything to get excited about. I've seen better in San Diego and Vegas.

This was the crappiest experience I ever had going out to a dinner and a show and here is why:
- I made reservations a week in advance. When we arrived for our date, there were no reservations and I was embarrassed. The next day I got a cell phone message (late) from a confused team member wondering if someone had ever called to see if we wanted to attend. I think they called while we were there. If she was confused, why didn't she care enough to at least leave the receptionist a note in their book?
- Our Cosmopolitans were overly sweet and made with a mix. They denied this - we never saw the bartender shake the cocktails as you should. It was like drinking Jello in a martini glass.
- We observed the server walking to tables multiple times with a plate with a bun. She held the bun on the plate with her thumb each time. Yuk!
- I have food allergies and went out of my way to tell the server this. She still brought me food that I could not eat even though we negotiated substitutes. She didn't seem to care.
- Our salads came with the entrees - poor timing - no apology.
- WORST OF ALL: The show started at least 40 minutes late (that is how long we stayed waiting until we could bear it no more). NO ONE EVEN CARED TO TELL US WHAT WAS HAPPENING. The lights went out about half an hour into our wait - and they left us sitting in the dark. Really - no one cares about you here. They are rude. There are much better places to go in Seattle for similar entertainment. I have been to these others and find none of the incredibly poor customer service I have seen here. This place is totally amateurish. Avoid this place like the plague. Go to someplace that deserves your hard earned cash and will treat you with the respect you deserve.
I know this review is harsh. You should know they deserve it.

went to the cababagazm show...here's the run down. 1 part tim burton, 2 parts cabaret, 1 part burlesque, 1 part performance art. mix it all together and add a brilliant sound track, put it underground for 1.5 hours and you have one of the most twisted and brilliant live performance concontions i've ever seen/heard.

We went to this bar/restaurant/cabaret last night. We made a reservation a week in advance through Can Can's Web site, but when we arrived at 8PM they didn't have a reservation for us. While we waited for them to find us a table, we ordered Cosmos at the bar. They were sweet and syrupy with no bits of lime - clearly made from a mix.

They seated us and we ordered apps, salad and entrees. The app arrived - their fresh-made flat bread, which was not what we expected. It was more like a crispy tortilla with toppings. We both ordered the tenderloin, and my partner indicated he could not have dairy so the waitress offered to substitute fries for the mashed potatoes. Our dinner arrived very quickly and my partner's fries were covered in cheese. Doh! Oh, and the salad arrived at the same time. Double doh!

We leisurely ate dinner, ordered a great bottle of wine.

OK, we're done with dinner and nearing the end of our wine. It's 10:30 now and the show was to start at 10PM. We pinged the waitress and she said there were technical difficulties. We waited another 10 minutes and then we left. They were nice enough to refund the $10/ea cover charge.

Overall, not a good experience. The food and mixed drinks were mediocre, service was crappy, room very loud and crowded, and we have no idea if the show ever got going.

Columbia City Cabaret was a much more enjoyable experience than this.

My friends recently threw a surprise birthday party for me at Can-Can, and I can't imagine a better night anywhere. The atmosphere was dark and slightly naughty; the waitstaff was unbelievably attentive; for a tiny cover charge the entertainment was endless and varied; and the food! From the filet and roquefort potatoes, to the scallops, to the prosciutto-wrapped pears, to the bruschetta... incredibly tasty, and all only $9 a plate! If my friends are reading this, I'm hoping this is a new birthday tradition...

I can't afford the dinner menu, so I haven't seen the cabaret. But we go to the happy hour on Sundays when we can. We get the same thing every time: tenderloin sandwiches with either Pilsner Urquell or whiskey sours. Once I splurged and bought a shot of The Balvenie, but that's not typical. Anyway, the happy hour has been pretty dead every time we're there, so I've invited friends and they've enjoyed it as well. The place is obviously thrown together decor-wise, but I have a thing for old ships and Can Can feels like you're below decks on an old wooden merchant trader. The bartender is always nice and prompt.

My husband and I went to Can Can for Valentines after seeing that they were voted 2nd most romantic place in Seattle by AOL. We arrived to a beautiful, packed, red, candlelit underground setting that exuded romance. The food was great and nicely paced throughout the evening of amazing entertainment. My only complaint was that it was REALLY full...but I guess that comes with the territory on a holiday...especially Valentines day. My husband and I look forward to many, many more evenings of romance at Can Can.

My boyfriend and I made reservations at the Can Can for Valentine's Day more than a month in advance. Our reservations were for 8:30pm. We arrived at 8:00 thinking we could sit in the bar and have a drink until our table was ready....the hostess told us to leave and come back. Ok fine, no problem. We come back at 8:30 and there are about 30 people stuffed into the tiny bar waiting to be seated, even though 75% of the dining room is empty from the previous show. We aren't seated until 9:00 and when we are, they put us 5 feet from the men's restroom in the hallway, next to the music and light controls for the show and where all of the waiters and bussers are constantly walking by us (it is not a large hallway). When I say something to an employee he offers us some wine on the house, but never brings it. The show begins and it is not half bad, we order our food right away, and we are served spinach salads and bruschetta while watching the dancers. After we finish our bruschetta, we proceed to wait over an hour and 20 minutes with no food and no show. The couple in front of us looks like they are about to doze off in the dark hot basement room with cheesy love songs on repeat (i literally hear the "amore" song 3 times). Finally at 11:15 (our reservations were for 8:30 mind you) our entrees were nowhere in sight and we were starving and frustrated. We finally decided to just go home without eating our dinner, and the manager still charged us &18.00 a person out of the $30 dollars the full four courses were supposed to cost, even though we didn't receive our entree or dessert. In conclusion, if you are thinking about going to the Can Can, you had better eat some snacks before you go, expect to go home after midnight, and be really really really patient person. Personally, I will never give them my business again.

This is easily the best place I've ever been period! I was in town on business for a week and ended up going here every night of the week. They had a different show each night all which were amazing (some better than others). I've been to literally hundreds of bars, restaurants and cabarets around the world and this topped them all. Amazing atmosphere, food, bar (the bar had hundreds amazing obscure scotch and whiskey choices) and very reasonable prices (everything on the food menu was $9...including the filet minon). I live in NY which has a million cabarets and great entertainment...but this place blew my mind. Entertainment was out of a 19th century Vaudeville theatre but very original at the same time. The Cabaret show is a must see.

My group of 16 made reservations at the Can Can for New Years over a MONTH in advance of their New Years Eve Masquerade event after reading several positive reviews in The Stranger and Seattle Weekly. We made sure to ask if there was room for a group our size (which we later found there wasn't), and were assured everything would be fine. We were first told that we could pay the cover individually and keep separate drink tabs upon making the reservation. Then they changed their tune, and the cover price, a week or two before the event. They raised the cover by $10 and told us we had to keep it to one credit card, prepaid. By the time they made the change it was too late to make a new reservation. To top it off they called us two days before the event to change our reservation time from 9PM to 9:30PM because they were afraid our table wouldn't be ready...

The Event
...And our table wasn't ready. In fact, despite our early reservation, early $400 payment, and timely arrival at 9:30 - as asked - the table wasn't ready until 11PM! 16 people waited around in the "foyer" of their tiny, basement-level, dungeon for nearly TWO HOURS for our table on New Years Eve. When we asked what the story was the manager replied that the table ahead of us was "refusing to leave." To which my boyfriend replied "And you didn't tell them ahead of time that there were other reservations tonight?" Then, when the "VIP" section seating that we thought we had reserved finally became available, we could hardly see the stage. First drinks served? 11:30 PM.

The Best Part
The performance was lackluster, amateurish and, frankly, idiotic. You can get better cabaret at the Lusty Lady. If I wanted to see a grown man dawn a Speedo and lipsynch to Duran Duran I'd go to Broadway's Neighbors. The Music? BAD Donna's knockoff not worthy of most Seattle music dives. The only saving grace was the belly dancer. Their performances that night resembled the reviews we had read in NO WAY WHATSOEVER.

Pros: You get to stretch while you wait for your reservation.

Cons: Poor service, Poor planning, Poor management

Wow I attended the new years celebration at the can can and had a remarkable experience.
The entertainment alone was something that you wouldn't find anywhere else unless you traveled back in time to france circa Moulon rouge.
Definitly a popular place they where packed wall to wall understandibly.
We had a great 4 course dinner and a champagne toast at midnight that was unforgetible to the sounds of a great band by the name of scarlet room.
Thanks can can for all you did we will definitly be back soon

Don't go here for new years. they were really disorganized and dishonest. We paid 25.00 a person for reservations that we weren't able to use until 45 minutes passed our reserved time. During that 45 minutes they kept telling us and others with reservations that in 5 to 10 minutes they could seat us.When we were given a table it was in a horrible location where we couldn't see the show. We were offered by the manager a refund but were told they couldn't do it right then. Now the owner is saying he won't do it. Don't trust this place. It was a horrible experience.

This restaurant offered the worst New Year's Celebration Ever! They offered two shows, reservations recommended. The first show did not finish on time, so even though we had "VIP" reservations for 9:30, we were made to stand outside in the cold until 10:45. Then we were seated at a table beside the door in a cold hallway, with everyone passing between us and the stage, and the standing room only people standing between us and the stage. We decided this wasn't acceptable and were offered a full refund by employee Myra. I was called at 2 am by the restaurant to tell me that 2 people whom we didn't even know but had sat with us prior to our leaving, had walked on their bill, and my card would be charged. Furthermore, the owner now claims Myra doesn't work there and he will not honor our refund. So I'm paying $250 for a New Year's Celebration I didn't have. Don't go, terrible place, terrible people, hope the karma comes back to get you all!

I'm a regular at Can Can. I've traveled the world and been to literally hundreds of bars. I have not ever been to bar or restaurant that compares. Best drinks, food, wait staff and entertainment I've EVER seen...consistently. Can Can dancing and Cabaret show are brilliant. There is nothing that even compares in Seattle...let alone any other place I've been internationally.

We were at the Can Can on Saturday, the 23rd, and it was fabulous. The cosmos were the best and the lighting was lovely for our romantic third anniversary. The hula hoop gal was outstanding, and my husband was ga-ga over her her fun and exotic and unique performance. The dancers were excellent, as was the service in this casual but professional place. We feel comfortable and enjoy the different venues. The food was pretty good, but we were so into the cosmos and stage that we got distracted. in a good way . they also had a really fun cowboy male stripper who was not too over the top. The guy who did the announcing was so cute and gave a lot of warm, good energy too. A much better night that I thought it would be, and full of surprises. We will come back for another special occasion. The energy is vibrant and that is good for making customers feel like they got a lot more for their money than they expected.

Intrigued by the write up on City Search which promised "low lighting" "can can girls" and menu items prepared fresh from Market ingredients, I decided to check out the Can Can last week. I was wildly disappointed. The "low lighting" was just poorly placed strings of Christmas lights. The Can Can girls consisted of two girls doing a routine likened to a dance recital at grandmas on Christmas. There was a solo dance by a male which was actually really good but I guess when I think Can Can girls, I think a line of buxom ladies.....this was not the entertainment. I had the baked penne with meatballs...the meatballs were cold on the inside.
I get the concept of this place but the decor, feel and energy of the place left a big something to be desired. The clientele consisted of tourists who had wandered in from Pike Place complete with shorts and sandals.
I would not recommend this place

Amazing food, amazing drinks, amazing service, amazing show, amazing atmosphere...can you ask for anything more. I feel like I went on a 3 hour vacation to a place far, far away from Seattle. The menu is perfectly sized, prices are great and everything is made from fresh fruits and vegtables from the farmers market including their drinks. There is a heaven!

Pros: Only restaurant/nightclub that I've ever been that has quality in food, drink and show!

Cons: The place was packed, get there early to get a table or go during the week.
