Really outstanding place. Stands up to any Italian in the Tri-State.

Food, quality, service and experience are second to none.

Let me start with the entres are great, portions are more than ample. Our appetizer was buffalo mozzarella with tomato and basil, and the tomatoes were not very good or fresh. Our meal started with being seated at a table which was in a high traffic path and when I finally had been bumped 3 times by the staff, we asked to be moved. The restaurant was very accommodating and moved us after we had eaten our appetizer and another table became available.

After being seated for just over 50 minutes, we finally received our salads. The salads were nice and fresh, although the house dressing was rather bland. For my main entreeI had the dish called Flounder alla Phyllis. This dish was excellent and the fish was cooked perfectly. My wife had a traditional chicken parmigiana and it was very good. The food in this restaurant is excellent, but I find I would want to go tot he restaurant off hours. On a Saturday night it is packed, and even though we had a reservation, we were seated 25 minutes late. My biggest complaint about the restaurant, is when packed on a Saturday night, it is like eating in a packed cafeteria. The noise is deafening.

When we were moved to their small back room, there was a table of 10, that you could have sworn they were watching the super bowl, I could not even hear myself think and trying to have a conversation with my wife was impossible. I am not sure what is the right way for a restaurant to deal with a large and noisy and rude group, but it certainly ruined our dinner. Even the front part of the restaurant was terribly noisy, as there are too many tables in too little space in a wide open room. Putting aside the questionable service, and the table problem, the food was really very good. I am torn between Padrino's and Villaggio Iccara as to who's food is better, They are both very good.. Last weekend we ate at Villa Romanza, and it was not as good as Padrino's or Villaggio Iccara

we went to iccara to celebrate our engagement. we were very excited, and usually had a pleasant experience there.

we made reservations for 16 people. were we told that we had to order a cake through nino's, which we did.

we ordered many appetizers, entrees, dessert, and coffee for 16 people. we we basically kicked out before we could finish our coffee. we were told that another table had been waiting. our reservations were at 5. we were told to leave before 7.

it was very hard to get both of our families together at the same time. it took us 2 months to get everyone together to celebrate. as a result, we were upset about the poor customer service we received.

we will never go back there again, because of this experience.

I think this is one of the nicest Italian restraurants in the area. Never had a bad meal. Bring you own wine. Only problem at times you have a long wait but it's worth it.

Villaggio Iccara is a BYOB with great food. We did not have reservations so we had to wait only about 15 minutes on a Saturday night. The portions are very generous and the prices are very reasonable.

The atmosphere is classic Italiian small town feel.
Very relaxing. Good service helps.
This is BYOB, which is great since there is a liquor store 1/2 a block away, just in case you forgot.
The food is so good. Fresh and nice portions. You would expect to pay top dollar, but it is reasonable.
If you usually don't order an appetizer so you don't get full, this is an exception. Order the appetizer, because they are that good. You will end up taking the remainder home in a doggy bag anyway. Another whole meal.
