Don't ever work with this company. Our association hired them to monitor our fire detectors throughout the building. The system was already set up. All they had to do was come label each detector and notify us if they were having issues. First of all it took 2 hours to get them labeled. I had to make changes to the master copy numerous times because the guy that came out had them all wrong. Every time a detector went off they told us it was the wrong unit. For the past few weeks now our main system has been beeping at a very annoying high pitch. I called the company to see what the issue was. They told me they had to send someone out. I thought the whole point of having them monitor was so they can resolve the issue on their end and not have to bother us. Their technician came out, didn't know what he was doing, had to use my cell phone to call for more help, and told me he fixed the problem when all he did was silence it. The very next day it started up again. I called the company and she told me she would call the technician and have him call me so we can resolve it over the phone. Isn't the whole point of paying a company for a service because you don't already know how to do it yourself? Through this process of working with this company I have learned that I know more about the system then they do (which is very little), they don't monitor it on their end, they send out employees that aren't prepared or knowledgeable, and they won't follow through with the original agreement. Bottom line.......you would be an idiot (like I find myself now) to hire this company to do anything. I am just glad we haven't had a fire in our building. It would burn down before Protective Solutions could get their act together.
