I purchase a system in 2/2011, and have been trying to get a resolution since 6/2011. I have talked with several technicians and office people, who say they will get back with me or have someone who can work out a solution, contact me.

They sent someone out to repair my A/C that was not blowing cool air. First the tech couldn't figure out how to operate the thermostat so he said it needed a new thermostat. I explained over the phone how to work it so then he came back

Wish i never called them. These people came out the day after I bought my first house and the A/C had quit. They knew that as a first time home owner, I didn't have any idea what was wrong with the system. They took that to their advantage and sold me a new system for $5,000. They came out, did a poor job on the installation and left with the system still not functioning correctly. I had them come back to see what the problem was and the tech added freon. this seemed to help for a while but then again, this summer the system didn't seem to be operating at its max. I called and left multiple messages, called some more, then called some more when I had finally had enough of the dishonesty and lack of integrity these people showed (not to mention the HEAT). I ended up calling Weeks (great people and great workmanship) and their tech told me that I pretty much got the shaft from the previous company. I am posting this to warn people about this company, they are crooks in my opinion and will take your money and time and leave you with a soon to be broke again A/C system. Oh, and by the way, the "new" system they sold me in 2010, was actually a system from 2009, non low "e" as promised. Didn't do anything for my electric bill as promised and I had to spend $2,000 on a new coil (labor and materials done correctly this time, thanks to Weeks) due to their shotty installation.

Yesterday, after their technician looked at my unit he told me to change it for $5222 at 12:00pm since the compressor was supposed to be 90% damaged and my system is an old one (R22) I needed to replace it all. Likewise, he would be able to replace it the next day; so, I told him to put it to work at least that day because I left my handicapped mom and another person there and I was working, Houston yesterday was 100+. He charged me $533 for replacing a "capacitor" ($50 price found on the web), a "contactor" ($30 price found on the web), and diagnostic as per invoice (no warranty & no freon charged). Of course, this money it was refundable "IF" I change the unit in one week. When I got home @ 4:30pm it was fresh instead of cool, 84 degrees as per thermostat, set at 79. So, I decided to get a 2nd opinion, 5000 buck is a lot of money. These 2nd people showed at 9:00, after their last work, they charged 4# of freon (I could feel the temp going down) and told me it could be a leak; so they told me to keep looking the temperature during the night. I woke up this morning and the system was still working smooth and cold 75 it was reset to 75 to test it. I called Arvell Moore to complain about what happened and they just told that technician was one of their top one; they will call me after talking to him and I am still waiting for their call. By the way, I was supposed to have 50% discount to be a new customer on repairs as per their web page, but it wasn't honor.

My fan on my ac unit stopped working saturday so I called arvell moore to come and take a look at the unit.When the tech arrived he looked at the unit for 1 minute and immediately told me my unit neds to be replaced and there is nothing he can do about it but sell me a new unit for 4800.00 dollars or buy a compressor with install will run me about 1800.00 dollars so the next day i called john moore and a tech came out and told me all I needed was a capicator for my unit and once the tech installed the capicator my ac was back running and it was only a 250.00 dollars job with part and labor so with that being said I would not recommend arvell moore to anyone!!! I can show proof of both qoutes if needed from arvell moore and john moore.Hopefully this will help the next person out.

The Company replaced my entire HVAC unit for the upstairs zone in 2002. I should have entered comments sooner, however, here it is. I was on a business trip and did not see the work until they were gone.
1.) Although I live in Houston(Clear Lake) there was no permit.
2.) Although the return plenum was too small for the new unit, it was slapped on and taped together - severely restricting the flow of air through the system.
3) Wiring was not secured and dangled from a hole in the metal work.
4.) Although the unit was 'new' the serial # indicated that it had been manufactured several years earlier - maybe a warehoused item?

Rather than have this crew in my house again -- I contacted Weeks and had them clean up the job and build a new fresh air plenum for the unit.

My wife called Arvell Moore AC/ Heating (2814715700 I recommed that you call them if in need of service and let them know that BUSY BLUE said to give them a call and they will take care of your problem), and they responded within a couple of hours. They'll charge you a lot of money for a "new super energy efficient" A/C that's really just a used one they patched up from someone else's house!! I saw beer cans in the back of the tech's truck when he came up too... and one of them definitely seemed like he was high on something. I didn't want them in my house!

Chris was the repair person who came out to check my A/C. The potential problem was a leak from my A/C unit causing water to leak into the unit below me. Chris checked my unit & my neighbors' unit as well. He explained to her that the problem was not my unit nor was it hers that she most likely had a pipe leak in her ceiling/ He was very nice to me & my neighbor. Very pleasant & patient person in explaining the issue to my neighbor & why it wasn't a problem in my unit. Great personality. I will definitely call & request Chris if I had a problem with my a/c.

After we had Arvell Moore put in our new unit my allergies are back in control with just one claritain a day! I can now enjoy cleaning out my flowerbeds again. Thanks to Arvell Moore's no hassle sales team and prompt response to change the filters when they need changing i have continued to enjoy control over my allergies. In addition the blew more insulation in which has lowered my light and gas bill by over 40%!--joe and Gloria huddlestein

On March 31st and April 1st Roman Maldonado and Juan Rosales from Arvell Moore installed a new 4 ton air conditioning and heating system in my home. The installation included replacing the Air Conditioning Compressor on the outside, adding an electrical disconnect, the gas Heater, Evaporator Coil, the vent pipe from the heater, all of the DUCT work in the attic and installing a new digital programmable thermostat. Both men seemed to know their job and performed it very well. The men let me know when they were leaving for lunch or to run and get a part they needed that was unexpected. They placed drop covers down both days to protect the flooring in my home and were very careful removing and bringing in the parts that went in the attic so they would not damage my home in any way. They cleaned up each afternoon so that my home was fully usable by my family and also made sure that we had A/C in the sleeping area of our home before they left on March 31st.

He did a wonderful job for me. I had him do my house, I liked the work so well I had him to do my office also. He will be doing more work for me in the future. He stayed within my budget. I recommend him to people all of the time.
