Pool Contractor with two painful legs

by Robert I.

This is an oustanding service. It tool 45 minutes from the time I called for a nurse to reach my house. The nurse was thorough & she gave me additional advice about other minor issues I had. The price is unbeatable if you are like we are without health insurance. I am a pool builder & I had an infected bug bite & a lasseration from the steel on a project. She gave me antibiotics & a Tetnus shot. Robert Iovinelli Blue Horizon Pool & Spa Co. Plano Tx

Busy Professional

by Ted J.

I needed to see a doctor but could not afford to miss any time from the office. WhiteGlove showed up at the office and I was able to continue my day without interruption all while receiving the care I needed.I actually conducted a very high profile conference call while receiving the care needed. They even delivered my prescription right to me, I never left the office.I will recommend this service to everyone I know that could benefit from it.

Fantastic service

by tamratoo

I was down with what I thought was flu and feeling horrible. I had tried to go to my doctor's office but the wait was so long I left. Then I remembered that my insurance covers this service. They were at my home within 2 hours of scheduling the visit.
The entire process was very easy and comfortable. The PA was extremely professional, and beyond that she was just plain nice.
It has been a long time since I felt comfortable during a medical exam. Most times you are treated like you are inconveniencing them and heaven forbid they actually listen to what you say.
With this service I received a very caring, complete exam while wearing my pajamas and sitting on my sofa. I was given everything I needed and never had to leave my house to fill a prescription or even pick up an OTC. All I had to do was relax and heal. For much less than what an office visit would have ended up costing!
I simply cannot say enough good things about it.

Pros: they come to you, are very professional, and very nice

Cons: not a single one

Finally a Doctor who cares

by k hodgin

The nurse practioner was professional, knowlegdeable, and caring. I received a follow-up call to check on my condition. The amenities bag was so appreciated and relevant. I don't see a downside. My regular physician is the only loser in this because he just lost a patient. No more long office waits surrounded by contagious people.

Pros: Came to my office at a time that fit my busy schedule.

Cons: Don't see any

Inexpensive and Convenient House Calls!

by PlanoTXMom

I have been telling family and friends - White Glove is the best thing ever - when you are sick!

The Nurse Practitioner arrived promptly for our appointment, was thorough, friendly and professional. I saw the NP in the conference room at work, she brought my rx (cost included in co-pay) and I was back at my desk within 20 minutes. She left a bag of feel better goodies soup, crackers, vitamin water, gatorade, apple sauce, jello, tissues, cough drops and tylenol/advil!

Kids had the flu - same experience - prompt, friendly, professional - no need to go out and wait at dr. and pharmacy when you are sick and feverish. My kids loved Amanda and the feel better goodies!

EXTREMELY Cost Effective and Convenient.
We will DEFINTELY use White Glove again!
White Glove is a great answer to the rising cost of routine health care!

Pros: House Calls/Generic Rx Included!

Great service

by smsdavis

I have heard the ads about WhiteGlove on the radio and when I got sick recently my kids suggested I try them so I did. Since I have six children and hate going to the doctor where I might pick up something else, I called them.

I was amazed. They responded very quickly. The lady who came to our house was kind, compassionate and friendly. She did all the necessary tests to rule out flu and gave me the recommended treatment plan. I talked to her about an incident I had with some coral while scuba diving and how I wasn't sure if that was causing my symptoms. She was not knowledgable in that area so she called for assistance. She then left me witha goodie bag that contained soup, kleenex, applesauce, crackers, gingerale, all those things you eat when you're sick were right there in the bag so I didn't have to go to the store.

What impressed me most, however, is what happened after she left. Less than 30 minutes after she left the doorbell rang and it was her again. She had consulted with a doctor about my coral injury and the doctor had advised her to go ahead and give me medication to help my body fight the effects of the coral. I was impressed that they don't write prescriptions but they actually deliver the medication! I was more impressed that she came back to my house to give me the additional information! She could easily have just called me and called in a prescription and saved herself a lot of time and trouble.

I will definitely use this service again!

Pros: didn't have to leave home

Excellent Care, low cost!

by ClementsCreations

I signed up for a membership with White Glove (wonderful low monthly cost), and set up an appointment for that day. I was on the phone with the service at 8am, and the appointment was set up for 9 am.

Amanda arrived early! She was so friendly, and very knowledgeable. She evaluated my symptoms, diagnosed, wrote the prescription and scheduled an RX delivery for later that day. The prescription was placed at the pharmacy I prefer, not just the most convenient for them.

I got the impression that if I had needed it, Amanda would have stayed as long as I needed to make sure all my questions were answered.

I was so impressed.

From someone who doesn't have insurance: the price is right and the care is of the highest quality.
From a picky patient: the convenience and knowledge that Amanda brought were excellent.

The only down side is that because I have a chronic condition, Amanda cannot treat it. However, she did provide a prescription as a stop-gap measure until I visited a specialist.

I cannot praise the service, and Amanda in particular, enough.

~An extremely satisfied customer

Pros: Wonderful people, low cost, excellent care

Cons: Do not work with long term conditions (chronic conditions).

An hour being sick in a waiting room is eternity

by Blake Birdwell

My wife heard about this service from the radio while she was picking my sick daughter up from school. She called me and asked if we should try it. When she said that our insurance would pay for it and all I would be out was the copay; I said okay.... I cannot tell you how well my daughter and family enjoyed this service. We didn't have to take a sick child to the Dr. and sit for hours, the PA was very personable and knowledgable and came to the house on time within a couple of hours. We will definately use them again.Read More

Pros: professionals come to the house

Housecall with a personal touch

by Dominic700

I called for an appointment and the nurse arrived in less than 2 hours, and 30 minutes early. I was in great pain as I was later diagnosed as having a strep throat infection. My glands were swollen. I couldn't eat, drink or swallow. After the nurse arrived and complete all preliminary procedures she examined me right a way. I was concern that she may not have equipment to do the test as a clinic would have.

However she did have a test kit which verified that I have a strep throat infection. Not only did she came prepare with the test kit but she also have available all the medication I would need to treat the infection. I did not have to go to the Pharmacy to get them so it was very convenient and personalized. The nurse also gave me a care package that consist of a can of chicken noodle soup, cracker, jello, apple sauce, a bottle of Gatorade and Vitamin water, Haul, and some aspirin.

I was very impressed with the personalized service of WhiteGlove House Call Health service. I feel much more comfortable in getting an examination in my office than at a primary care clinic waiting for hours in a cold room.

Thank you for such a wonderful service and am looking forward to using this service again in the future.

What to do when you have the FLU

by DallasMom

My daughter had the flu and I was worried about taking her to the doctor and being exposed to everyone's germs in the waiting room, or her exposing the flu to others. I remembered that my Aetna insurance covers Whiteglove so I called them and a nurse practiitioner was at my house in no time. This was an amazing experience, for just my specialist co-pay of $30 they not only came to me but also provider free generic prescription medications and a bag of soup, crackers, pop, gatorade, vitamin water, advil and tylenol packets, and other stuff. My daughter felt so comfortable with the nurse practitioner, no being nervous and stressed out. We caught the flu early and she recovered quickly. Why would anyone go to a doctors office when it can all come to you so affordably? We're hooked and will always use Whiteglove, I've been telling all my friends and co-workers. Whiteglove is saving lives I have no doubt about that! Thank you Whiteglove!

Pros: Everything comes to you!

Cons: None

In home visit

by Linnette Tucker

She arrived in the time specified. She asked questions, took our vitals, and answered all my questions, without hesitation. I am grateful for the service because my daughter and I were both sick, and it was a Sunday. Of course, my doctor's office was closed. If, my family should get sick again, I know who to call. Thank you.

Pros: She was professional.

White Glove House Call

by BobbyMc

My entire family has used White Glove and we love it! No more waiting in doctor's offices so it saves you on time and exposure to more illness. They have come to my office to treat me, but most recently my home where they treated my son. His doctor's office was full that day with flu patients so instead they came to our home and treated him. They are professional, punctual and friendly. And if they don't have the medications you need with them, they'll go to the pharmacy for you and deliver them to your home. It's a win-win all around!

Pros: Convenient/Professional/Punctual/Friendly

Cons: There is no downside!

Amazing Service

by fwreview

I stayed home from work and felt too sick to drive to my dr's office. I remembered I had this service with my health ins, so I called to try it out for the first time. They were at my house within a couple of hours and had everything I needed, including chicken noodle soup and crackers! We thought I had the flu, so she took a flu test right there in my dining room. The test was negative. Instead I had a throat and ear infection. She gave me an antibiotic, Mucinex, Tylenol, nausea medicine, and a whole bag of things you need when you are sick (water, Ginger-Ale, etc). I didn't even have to go to the pharmacy. If she hadn't had the meds I needed, she would have gone to the pharmacy for me! Had I gone to my Dr's office I might have caught the flu. I was so thankful for this service.

Pros: So Convenient !!

Cons: Can't think of any

Getting treatment cannot get any easier!

by Stackles

I was sick on a recent Sunday. Of course my normal doc was not open and I did not feel like sitting for hours at the urgent care or driving to a clinic. I remember hearing about WhiteGlove and thought I'd give them a try. I'm so happy I did! The nurse came, diagnosed me, and gave me meds. Being a female, home alone, I was comforted by the fact that she called before coming, arrived in a marked car, wearing scrubs and checked my ID. All of these things made me feel secure and safe letting her in my home. Getting treatment on Sunday instead of Monday really improved my recovery time and I missed less work because of it! Great service... I have and will continue to recommend it to friends and loved ones.

Pros: Comes to you and brings prescriptions!

Cons: Cons? What Cons??

What a fabulous service!

by patmonis

Rather than having to wait to see my doctor on Monday, I was able to call Whiteglove and have them make a house call on a Saturday evening. The PA was very friendly and professional. She did the lab and even had the antibiotic with her. Total cost was my office visit copay.

I can't recommend this service highly enough!!

Pros: Convenient

Cons: None that I can think of

Best Doctor Visit in Years

by Julie Nichols

This truly was the best experience I've had with a doctor visit in years. They came to my office at a pre-arranged time (and they were early), and I was in and out of my appointment with them in under 30 minutes. There isn't a doctor's office I've seen that can match that level of turnaround while still providing a thorough exam, excellent 'bedside' manner, and prescriptions. They had the medicine I needed on hand, and I didn't have to pay extra or go to a pharmacy to get it. Plus, the get well package they left eliminated any need for me to stop at the grocery store after work. It was stocked with everything I needed. In the end, the higher co-pay was well worth it in time and money saved.

Pros: Convenient, friendly, professional, caring

Cons: Paying the in-network specialist co-pay

Amazing Service No Parent or Professional Should Be Without!

by barbarahanks

As a working mom, I never have a moment to myself -- and I'm just not allowed to be sick! Recently, I had a very persistent cough that just wouldn't go away. I called WhiteGlove House Call Health and they had Dr. Bill Rice out to see me within a matter of hours. His bedside demeanor was excellent -- I didn't feel rushed at all -- and he made me feel like I was his only patient that day. (Though I know I wasn't!)

Making an appointment out in town requires me to find childcare or miss time at work. (Not to mention how frustrating it is to sit endlessly in a waiting room filled with other sick individuals.) With WhiteGlove, my toddler was able to play quietly nearby while I chatted with Dr. Rice at the dining room table. He had nearly everything I needed to save me a trip out to the pharmacy. (And he even offered to have my medications delivered for no extra charge!)

Every visit comes with a "wellness" bag filled with soups, Gatorade/Vitamin Water bottles, apple sauce, jello, tissues, cough drops, and Advil. What a blessing not to have to run to the grocery store while you're under the weather to stock up on these items!

Thank you to Dr. Rice and Mr. Fabbio (founders) for creating such a unique service. This is a something that no busy family should be without! I'm highly recommending your business to my co-workers and neighbors!

The nurse practitioner that came out was unbelievable. She was super nice and explained everything to me. She gave me medicine on the spot and had the rest sent to my house within days. Wonderful Care

by emilyg24

It was a wonderful experience overall, I called in and they set up my account quickly. They arrived on time and were able to make an accurate diagnosis. There is a well-pack that they bring along as well that was greatly appreciated with lots of good things to make it easier for you. The nurse was kind and helpful, and gave me advise when she realized that I had asthma. I had not told her that I had asthma but she could tell just by listening to me breathe across the table. I have and will continue to recommend White Glove to anyone that is able to get this service.

Pros: Quick, courteous, professional, and they come to you.

Health Care the Way it Should Be

by KerriS

White Glove Home Health Care is the Best. I own a small business and was looking for an affordable health care plan for all of my staff, not just myself. White Glove has saved me money in employee absenteeism and my employees love it. The convenience of having someone come to home or work plus bringing over-the-counter meds plus 3-day supply of any necessary antibiotics saves them time and money. This is the way health care was meant to be. Health care reform needs to take lessons from White Glove.

Pros: Customer Service is the Best

#1 Choice

by msdallas1

I'm not often sick, but with my last illness, I hardly wanted to leave the comfort of my home, especially to wait in a crowded clinic. I thought I would look into this new service to see how long it would take for me to be seen by a provider, and within three hours, a physician was in my home--gloved and ready to go.

The physician was kind, competent, and experienced, with a bedside manner superior to any primary care physician I had seen before. First, he brought me a bag with all that I would need for my recovery from chicken soup to throat lozenges. He performed a minor rapid test to confirm suspicions of my illness, and he had the medication on hand with him to treat the illness and associated symptoms. With no need to leave my home for anything, I immediately retired to my bed for rest until the following day when I received a call from WhiteGlove to check on how I was doing.

Without a doubt, I will continue to use WhiteGlove House Call for any primary care needs, and I encourage all my family and friends to to the same!

Pros: Immediate access, convenient, affordable, superior care

Cons: More insurance companies should provide this coverage

White Glove is the White House for Medical Treatment & Care

by NateR

When you want great medical treatment you would like to have someone that you can trust and look to for answers. I was very apprehensive of using this service through our company insurance but once I was sick and didnt have the time to miss work White Glove was there. The only downfall to this service all around was that I was hopefully expecting to get a shot once the doctor arrived but unfortunately they dont carry this type of treatment with them on hand when making calls. Otherwise the service and treatment was excellent and Dr. Rice was a doctor that I would refer to the rest of my family for their medical needs as well. He was never short of an answer and very thorough with the diagnosis and treatment. You need to have this for yourself or company. Our whole office staff now uses this service for themselves and family.

Pros: Excellent Service / Just like your family doctor should be

Cons: No Shots

Great Doctors

by April78

This is a great service. My company signed up for WhiteGlove and they are constantly at our office or homes. They not only take the hassle out of going to the doctor by coming to you (office or home), but they also write, drop off and pick up your prescriptions. No more leaving the office/home, going to the doctor office to wait in a waiting room and then wait more when you get to a room. It is a wonderful service for those that have kids too. You can sign your kids up, and they will come to your home rather than dragging a sick kid to the doctor's office. We can't say enough good things about WhiteGlove's Service and the wonderful doctors.

Best service I've ever had

by lfreimann

I had a visit with Whiteglove Health on March 5, 2009. I have Whiteglove through my daughter. First, I was so impressed that a doctor would visit me at my office, cutting down on my off time. Second, I was very impressed with Dr. Bill Rice. He was on time, efficient, caring and kind. I was diagnosed with bronchitis and sinusitis and instead of spending 3 days in bed off work, I didn't miss one minute. He brought my prescription and even brought chicken soup, crackers, juice, tissues, and over the counter things to make me feel better. Whiteglove Health service is so good, I recommended it to my HR department and the very next week they met with Whiteglove. I can't think of one downside to this wonderful service. I made all the difference in the world to my health. I would recommend Whiteglove Health service to anyone and everyone!

This is the BEST service offered in healthcare... Period!

by mrwwsurfs

First Class all the way.
We signed up our entire company and the fact that they will come to your home or office is the absolute BEST!
Who wants to sit around a germy waiting room for an hour to wait for a doc who is going to rush you through?
WG offers better health though prevention. Most of us avoid the doctor's office and go only as a last resort. Wish WG, at the first sign of any discomfort, I call and they are there in 2 hours or less. An ounce of prevention is worth it exponentially.
If you don't have WG, GET IT!
A+

Pros: Everything

Cons: No onsite lab. X-ray, etc...

A medical service that respects my time....A tool for corporations and individuals alike

by execontherun

An exec friend knew I was sick, about to travel, and had missed access to my physician.
She told me about WhiteGlove Housecall Health, to which she had just subscribed. Not only was a nurse PA on my doorstep within two hours, she arrived with prescription capability, samples of the very meds I needed, checked my vitals, used her handy techberry to trace interactions with my other meds, but then left me with a care package to get thru the next 24 hours. Crazy. I had peace of mind, more time with a professional than I usually get in my doc's office, an email f/u w/documentation, and a f/u call. Personal attention, minimized disruption for my business, and more importantly got me much needed help. I am now recommending this service to many of my clients who are business owners seeking an employee benefit that can be distinctive but good for their businesses as well. A medical "concierge"..and an extension of traditional healthcare but while avoiding excessive costs for extreme after hours alternative services such as use of emergency room for non-emergencies, or "doc in a box" for routine support. Not a substitute for having a person continuing care GP but a supplement to be used regularly, nor for true emergency care if needed-this is a smart-budget, smart-lifestyle solution that allows one to be supported at the office or at home with personal care and attention coupled with experience and skill. What a find....

Pros: attention, match of need and benefit

Cons: didn't know about it sooner....

Healthcare just found the answer

by JasonFraser

Last week my wife got a call from Greenhill School that Jace was sick with a fever at 11:30am. She immediately called the White Glove service and went to pick him up in Addison. She picked Jace up by noon and the service was at our house in Plano by 12:30pm. By 12:45 the nurse practitioner had run a strep test on my son that came back negative and started him on Amoxicillin and Tylenol. By 1 pm he was in our bed eating chicken soup (also supplied by White Glove) and relaxing the rest of the day. All the while my wife was able to work from the house with no need to leave to go to the pharmacy or grocery store. Lastly we have since increased our deductible and lowered our premiums drastically on our HSA health plan, added the White Glove service, and still lowered our annual medical outlay. I'm sold on the service and would recommend it to anyone.

I received medical help and never left my house

by cruikshankfamily

This is the old fashioned house call. People can't seem to understand how we can get such good service for just the co-pay on my insurance, but what people don't realize is these are doctors and nurses providing the service a normal doctors office provides and they file your insurance for you, they just don't have the overhead that offices have. That's how they can do this.
The amazing thing is they drop off my prescription for me and deliver it back to my house within an hour!

Pros: HUGE time saver & very professional

Cons: only in Dallas & Austin, TX

WhiteGlove beats the clinic anyday...

by MrJetFixer

Being self-employed, insurance is not something that is affordable. I tend to "deal with it" when sick and not go to the er or clinic due to the cost. I heard about whiteGlove through a friend of mine who's company uses them for thier employees as a benefit, and took note of the website. A month or so later, I found myself doing ignoring a cold until it turned into a sinus infection. I called the toll free number to inquire about the cost of service and was shocked to find out how affordable it truelly and honestly is. I signed up on the spot, and a Practitioner was at my home within 2 hours of my calling. She took a full assesment of my condition, wrote me a prescription for an antibiotic, and actually went and picked it up for me.....wow.....
She also provided me with a 'well care kit" that included fluids, foods and otc meds.....again wow......all for the cost of most co-pays, $35 for the visit. The last time I went to the clinic on the corner it cost me $300 after the visit and my meds. And that will be the last time I go to the clinic, from now on I am a WhiteGlove subscriber and advocate. I will never again sit around and suffer due to no insurance coverage, I have WhiteGlove services for my medical needs. Keep it up guys, this is an awsome service.

Pros: Medical care available to everyone, insured or not, and they come to you...

Cons: I didn't experience anything but pros...

Good Old fashioned healthcare is making a come back!

by smoraleshome

I couldn't see my doc and didn't want to spend $150 for a Doc-in-the-Box so I called friends looking for a clinic recommendation. One told me she had heard a radio ad for WhiteGlove so I called them. Less than an hour later a PA was at my house taking care of me better than my own mom could have. She even gave me meds for my sore throat and spent about 30 minutes checking me out. I have already told all my friends about them and am recommending the gold membership to everyone. I can't believe this kind of health care could be making a comeback! I am a real fan and while I am not looking forward to getting sick again, at least I know who to call when I do!

Pros: No Waiting room, they come to you! Work, home, anywhere!

Cons: Gold plan membership is a one year program

What a cool service and business model

by waltersh97

I was skeptical about joining WhiteGlove until one of my friends told me they had used it and loved the service. I did not understand that by paying their membership fee, it allowed me to never have to spend more than $35 a visit, no matter whether it was during the week, at night, or on the weekend. And the fee that I paid for visit ($35) included the medical care, my generic meds, teas, crackers, soups, juices, and more ... and it all came to me! Very cool. This is a great because you never know when you are going to need a doctor and my doctor is so hard to get into (and not available at night and weekends).

Needless to say, I tried the service. I called at 3pm for Whiteglove to come to my home at 6pm. I had a sinus infection. They were there on-time and the experience was great! Treated and with meds and all the other things I needed by 6:30. I would really recommend this to others.

Pros: They come to you when you want them to and bring everything

Cons: None that I can think of

Sounded to good to be true ... and it is all true ... this service is great!

by cynthiaw84

I had a function to go to on Sat. night and was feeling like I was coming down with something on Thursday afternoon. I called Whiteglove and had someone come out to see me at home. It was great. I did not have to pack up the kids or find care for them. They were on-time and professional. I was diagnosed and treated in less than 30 minutes ... and they actually spend time with me. Thankfully, I was able to make Saturaday night and I have not been able to stop telling my friends about the service. Oh, and it only cost $35 for them to come to the house, bring meds, a goodie bag of soups, teas, crackers, kleenex, etc.

Pros: We need this kid of care across the country

Cons: none

Now that was Whiteglove treatment without all the expense!!!

by Tinawidder11

I thought I have a cold, or flu, or some sinus infection thing. I called Whiteglove and one of their medical people came and saw me at home. They were polite and respectful. They diagnosed me with just a cold. I really appreciated that they didn't try to feed me a bunch of antibotics -- probably pushed by some pharmacetical rep. They brought me soups, teas, crackers, juices, etc. It was a wonderful experience ... and the visit only cost $35!! What a service.

Pros: Cost of the care and convenience

Cons: None
