The food is very good, but pricey. Beware that they require that men wear a jacket. In fact, my cousin took off his jacket at the table to eat, and someone actually came over and insisted that it was restaurant policy that he must keep it on.

For holidays, they have special abridged menus. But everything is still quite good.

They also have a pianist who plays while you eat (and takes requests too!).

This is a wonderful restaurant tucked away in the Rancho Bernardo Inn. They serve modern French food and most tables have a great view of the golf course. It's expensive, but has a great atmosphere.

One of the best restaurants in RB! It is such a shame that it is hidden in the INN! It is a very formal upscale restaurant! The lamb there was so sweet, juicy and tender! The chief also came out to see if everything was okay! An amazing staff and experience! I highly recommend this place to any one!

This is a formal restaurant with magnificent food. I had never heard of it but while staying at the Rancho Bernardo Inn I figured it would be a good place for dinner.

The dinner was spectacular. We all had the tastings menu and that was quite a treat. The wine list is huge and the wine drinkers in our party were quite impressed. I do not drink wine so I am clueless.

Only after we got home did I look this place up to find out that it is considered one of the best restaurants in San Diego. I would have made it a must to go had I known that but I ended up there anyway. You should end up there because now you know.

This place is tops and should not be missed. It is quite pricey and they prefer a tie and jacket for the men but do not require it. If I remember sneakers and jeans are not permitted.
