After moving from Europe to Atlanta I tried for 2 years every time a new salon. Until I found Soeren. He cuts the hair so that it not only looks good the moment you walk out of the salon but it stays perfect and gets even better for 3 month (no kidding). Without any blow drying or styling. Even after 12 weeks I still get compliments and asked where I had cut my hair!

I travel all the way from Macon to get my haircut from Soeren! I have a lot of thick, wavy, curly hair and Soeren cuts my hair perfectly again and again. As it grows out, it becomes a different cut. It is amazing to feel like I constantly have new hair in between visits! I use Kerastase and I love the new OLEO product! Plus I get to fit in a Buckhead shopping trip.

Megan does the best hair color in the US.I have never had my hair done in Europe but certainly have paid the BIG dollar in NYC, Boston, LA and SF and she is the BEST. She can camo grey no one else. AND she's funny!

Before I was told to try Soren Salon, i was constantly changing places to go. Believe it or not, Asian hair is really hard to cut and style right! Ashely did an amazing job! i've gone back several times now! Not only is she friendly, but she has a great eye for matching hair cut to your face. Megan who did my multicolor highlights was amazing as well! she did it so well they've grown almost half way out and you still can't tell where the high lights actually end! They are both worth the money!

I truly feel I have found the best stylist in the Atlanta area! Kari mixed a color for me that is unlike anyone else's. I am constantly stopped no matter where I am, and asked where I got my cut or color done. Kari was super friendly and catered my cut to my face shape and the color to my eyes and skin tone. It's perfect! This is truly a five star salon where you will receive top of the line styling services. The design and atomosphere of the salon is also modern and and has a high end fashion sort of feel. I can't wait to go back for my next appointment!

Soren, I just wanted to say how great it was to see the new salon. My hair so many complements when I went out on Friday night . Some people say I am crazy to drive 3 hours to have my hair done but if you want the best cut you have to drive to you to get it . So happy with my hair now. On alternating Saturday mornings, you can always find me at 3229 Paces Ferry Place NW at the far hair station against the window overlooking the busy salon morning commute. I am the Monk of hair, and Re'Con is my Sharona. Regardless of my OCD, by the end of my appointment with her, she makes sure that my 'wig is split' just the way I like it! I am a handful when it comes to my hair, and VERY particular....a perfectionist....it's the Virgo in me, what can I say. But I CAN say....without hesitation....that Re'Con is the only cure to my disorder. Re'Con keeps me looking haute and edgy. Re'Con takes the time to build relationships with her regulars and gets to know their personalities. I have been going to Re'Con faithfully every 2 weeks for over a year. Now, I don't even have to tell her how to style me. When I walk in, she already knows what to do. She knows that I like to stand out. She knows I want sophistication with a hint of edge.....which isn't easy to pull off ;-) I could go one for days raving about Re'Con. But reading the other reviews, readers can see for themselves that I'm not the only one. I was recommended to Re'Con, and I in turn have recommended her. So I can take credit for a few of her now regulars! Love you Re'Con!!

I have been a client of Re'Con for years now and I always come out happy. I am African American and she convinced me to go natural and my hair has never been this healthy! Re'Con is very talented and creative, I have had some of the coolest cuts and color EVER. And now that I am trying to grow it out, Re'Con is keeping it trimmed and healthy. I have recommended tons of my friends to Re'Con (many who are natural) and they all have come out satisfied.

I followed Re'Con from Dass to Soren and the service is great. I love seeing Jeffrey when I come in the door, he is always attentive and smiling.

Response to HairAttic- you are crazy and apparently cocky yourself seeing as you had to point out that you have an assistant and the area you live in. Get your head out of you know where, and maybe your hair would do better :-)

I have been getting my hair cut by Ashley for years and when she decided to move with Soren to the new salon I was thrilled. My hair is always perfect and I love the salon and the staff (special shout-out to Jeffrey at the desk who is always so professional!).

I have sent many a friend to Soren Salon to see Ashley and we all continue to drive from Norcross and Duluth because there isn't a better salon or stylist in the city!

I met Recon when she was working at Dass at Lenox. When she left and went to Soren, I followed her there. Let me tell you, that girl can cut some hair!!!! EVERYTIME I leave her chair, folks rave about my style. She is a master. I have given out so many of her cards because people want to know who did my hair?!! I want to also give some love to the entire staff. Everyone is professional, but pleasant and personable. I especially enjoy that my time seems to be as important to them as it is to me -- I have NEVER had to wait to be seen and I am out of there within a hour and look fabulous. I highly recommend this salon.

I am European myself and many salons claim to cut ones hair as they do in Europe. Not true! But at Soeren Salon they DO! Precision haircuts like I got at home can now be had right here in Atlanta. Soeren and his staff are absolutely wonderful. No hype, no blablabla, pleasant, knowledgeable, and up to date with the latest European techniques and products! My search is over! Till death do us part! Soeren is IT for me!

I've been coming to Soeren Salon for some time now...

ASHLEY has been doing my cuts and MEGAN on my color.

These 2 have, over the years, made my hair as healthy and strong as ever. I couldnt ask for a better team to do my hair!!!

I recently got married 3 months ago... MANDI did a wonderful job on my updo.

JEFFREY's always there when I come, always has a smile and makes me feel welcome when I come. <3

FAITH has always given my shampoo everytime I come, very gentle hands, just the way I like.

All in all, the staff at Soeren Salon has always been friendly and accomodating to me. I couldn't ask for a better salon to go to..... DEFINITELY AN A+++++++++++

Life has been busy for a number of years...major crosscountry moves involved, my hair was always on the bottom of the to-do list...never had the time to find "the stylist" so my hair (and self-esteem) suffered...always walked away with an "its ok...I can still put it up in a ponytail till it grows out" type cut. Moved here in Aug needing a haircut and started checking salon websites/recommendations. I came across Soren Salons and am so glad I did! I called and spoke to a very nice gentleman named Jefferey about my situation and how unhappy I've been with my hair. Based on our discussion, he recommended an appointment with Ashley Fong. She is wonderful! I didn't have a picture or a style in mind...just wanted a change and something flattering, stylish and easy...so after talking for a while and a fabulous shampoo w/massage, she went to work. She pretty much worked a miracle in my book!! She took my blah hair and made it look sleek, va-voom and healthy...so full of life!! I can say I have a style now versus just a haircut. I love it!!! Ashley is a really nice person who actually cares about her clients...that alone is worth alot...then add in all her talent to make you look beautiful...bump up to a goldmine!!:>) Worth every penny spent! I followed Megan to Soren Salon from where she used to work. In the 11 years and two continents that I've been highlighting my hair, NO ONE can do it like Megan can! She can make it look so natural, many people are surprised when I tell them I'm a 'bottle blond' ;) Really and truly people, she's got special talent.

I have the same admiration for Kate (GREAT stylist), Jeffery, Faith and the entire Soren Salon. Every single person in that place knows what they're doing, they do it extremely well, and know how you make you feel like their favorite client. I just can't say enough wonderful things about them. I've been a client since the day it opened and have never had even a remotely poor experience. I wouldn't trust my hair to anyone else. Try them, you'll be very very happy you did.

I drove down from Chattanooga (about 1.5 hours away)for a cut with Ashley. I picked Soren Salon based on all of the great reviews. I was not dissapointed. Everyone was very nice and Ashley did a great job on my haircut. She took her time and paid attention to the details of my hair. I am extremely pleased and will be back!

I got the haircut of my life by Mandy. Unbelievable. Precision cutting at it's best. Perfection at work. And then I got a great consultation from Megan and decided to color my hair there and then! She did an absolutely amazing job. Everything about the salon is fabulous! I give it my highest recommendation. I walked out of the salon more than thrilled and that's an understatement...... I could not be happier.

Just for his haircuts. Soeren is extremely creative with his short haircuts. Very in vogue and way ahead of his time. I am all about short hair cuts and by far Soren is the only one who has made the look effortless, chick and fun. I can go without a haircut for close to three months because his cuts grow out so beautifully, one can never tell that I need one. His haircut is easy to maintain, does not require any hair products, even hair dryer. Let it be natural.... and I absolutely LOVE IT. Miss his haircuts so bad that it makes me want to move back to Atlanta just so......

Where to begin??I was referred by a friend to Soren Salon, Soren and Megan for cut and color respectively. My experience far surpassed my expectations. The Salon offers a quiet elegant ambiance and I particularly liked the soft jazz playing in the background. It is refreshing and unlike so many of the other Buckhead salons I?ve visited where an air of arrogance and sense of entitlement permeate the walls. Soren has paid particular attention to customer service and to how his clientele are treated, from the moment you walk into reception and are greeted by Jeffrey, a warm and delightful person, until the time you?re ready to leave the salon with your fabulous look.
It is very apparent that the artists at Soren have honed their skills and excel in their craft. They not only work from a theoretical perspective, but take it to another level entirely in their art of delivering a style and total look individual to the person in their chair.
They are genuine, caring people who strive to make the salon experience more than just pleasant, but a wonderful indulgence and break from every day stressors. It was such a relaxing and satisfying experience for me, I almost didn?t feel like leaving!
I highly recommend Soren Salon. I think all of the stylists and colorists would provide a great service and experience as I watched them work, and I personally recommend Soren and Megan for an outstanding total look. I love my haircut and extraordinary color and highlights. I have gotten so many compliments on both my cut and color just in the last few days since I was there. I would also be remiss if I didn?t mention Faith, whose expertise in styling my ?longish? hair was phenomenal. It was absolutely the best **** job I?ve ever had. Ashley Fong has been my stylist for seven years. She is now more than my stylist; she is my friend. Every time I see her, we talk about our families. Regardless of the long drive from Buford, Ashley's mastery is worth it. Over several years of service from Ashely, she knows exactly what I want. Soren is the first person I've been consistently happy with cutting and styling my hair. I bounced around with many different stylists for years, but no one compares to Soren. He knows what looks good and follows his vision. The customer service is impeccable. Ashley Fong has been my stylist for seven years. I will follow her wherever she goes. She has provided the best care and look not only for my hair but for my mother, daughter and sister. I had my haircut by Ashley and I was very disappointed with the results. I asked that she do the same thing and not to change the style. Unfortunately, she either didn't listen to me or decided to do what she wanted.

When I mentioned this to Soren, he offered to give me a free haircut. Let me tell you that after my first experience here, I was not comfortable with the prospect of returning.

With so much competition in the hair industry, there has to be a certain element of signature. I get that every time at Soren Salon with stylist Recon and colorist Rachelle. These ladies are excellent at giving me a custom look all in a timely manner. I love it!!

I found out about this salon through a co-worker about 4 months ago and have been booking appointments biweekly ever since with Re'Con. What impressed me most about this stylist is her punctuality and breadth of knowledge related to hair care and daily maintenance. Re'Con always consults with me before, during, and after each step of my hair appointment. I've been growing my hair out for the last 2 years, but because of the confidence and trust that I have in Re'Con's work I decided to get a dramatic haircut at my last appointment. I love my hair and so does everyone else. I have referred 3 clients to Re'Con since I was first introduced to her and they all rave about their finished styles! She's the best and it's hard to find a good hair stylist in a town filled with salons.

I was a girlfriend referred by jonesie1908. Thanks girl! Re'Con was my stylist, and I love her! My regular hair stylist was in a car accident the day of my apt and I was headed out of town the next day. Desperate for a trim and style, I called Re'Con per jonesie and Re'Con was able to fit me in within the hour. Major Kudos!!!

Not only did Re'Con squeeze me in, but she also did a FAB job. She was able to shape my cut up and gave me a very cute style. My experience was great and I will be going again. Great service for a Great price. I highly recommend Re'Con!

I just read the post by "hairaddict" regarding her visit to Soren Salon and the service by Re'Con. I am really surprised. I have been a loyal customer of Re'Con for several years and believe her to be the best stylist in Atlanta. From long to short hair, from relaxed to natural, from color to black and back to color, Re'Con has been excellent. I have referred dozens of people to her and they have all been happy. When my friends come from out-of-town to visit, they request that I schedule an appointment for them to see Re'Con.

Re'Con was formerly a stylist at Dass Salon in Lenox Mall. When she left to join Soren Salon, I followed her because I knew no one else could handle my hair. Although Soren Salon is a less convenient commute for me, it is well worth it.

I find it hard to believe that you mentioned your concerns to Re'Con before leaving the salon. In fact, I question why you didn't. Rather than posting a negative review, I wish you had discussed this with her. It will be hard to find a stylist in Atlanta with the dedication to healthy hair and progressive styling that Re'Con offers. Good luck to you.

I was referred to Re'Con by a close friend whose hair always looks phenomenal. I have been natural for over 2 years and I didn't trust just anyone with my hair. I decided to give Soren Salon and Re'Con a try about a month ago. The st aff was extremely helpful and I loved the products that she used. Re'Con ensured that I was comfortable throughout the entire process and offered valuable advice for my hair care needs. My appointment was scheduled at 3:00pm and by 3:57pm my hair was bouncy, beautiful, and I was out the door. I have never had such wonderful service in my life. I have recommended her to at least 4 friends and they rave about her work. As for the Hairaddict, best of luck to you... Re'Con is a definitely a keeper!!!

I am so pleased with the overall look and feel of the location and the nice people welcoming you. The haircut is by far one of the best I've ever got. (the best in Atlanta area)
I did go to Soeren to get my haircut and can totally recommend him, because in the first couple minutes he finds out what haircut you want and your "overall" goal is. With this combination, his great talent and his love to his profession he will give you the haircut you need, you want and you've asked for.
I am a regular customer there and more and more of my friends are switching over to him.
I will stay with him and enjoy more of these great haircuts. Thanks Soeren!

My visit to Soren Salon this past Saturday was a great experience - Soren did a fabulous job cutting my hair (I went from about 16 inches down to 4!!!), the staff was super friendly and I loved the stylish European atmosphere in the salon.
Random people on the street, at the mall and grocery store even ask me where I got this great haircut.

I am a frequent customer of soren salon. I absolutely love Recon's service and her oustanding cuts amd styles. Recon is the only stylist I completely trust with my hair and I would say I'm very picky when selecting stylist. She is great with african american hair. I try to get all my friends and family to go to her. My mom, who is probably the hardest to please when it comes to hair, absolutely loved Recon. Recon has an oustandng attitude and personality, so I don't know why anyone would say she is cocky.

This was my first visit to the Salon. Jacob was very patient with me as I tend to be bit demanding with my hair styling. He cut my hair as if it was a work of art, and the end product was really great. I highly recommend Jacob. He is the best stylist I've been to.

Had my assistant locate a new salon in my area, my family and I are new to the area, the salon is less than 5min from my residence. The appointment was made with Re'con, based upon which stylist available.

We arrived at the salon, in which we wore not greeted until approx. 10min after we had been already been seated. (Red flag from the beginning.) After the wait, greeted by the stylist who seemed like she did not want to be at work this day.

The stylist cut my hair the way she felt was best. I hate that. After I explained during the consultation, what I was looking for, in the cut.

I can not put in words how upset I am with the cut. The positive is my hair does grow fast, and there are other great Buckhead salons.

I have never had a cut like this in my life. The worst salon experience ever. I do NOT recommend this stylist (Re'con), not sure about the other stylist.

If you are looking for 2star service in a semi-chic salon and 5star prices this is the salon.

I waited to place my review because I wanted to be sure I was satisfied beyond measure. My hair style is consistently admired by friends, folks at the gym, in the office and at airports and out of town. The cut is symetric and after I dry and style my hair (10 minutes), it truly bounces and lands back in perfect formation! Industry standards say we need to return for a cut in 6 weeks, however, I can go 8!!! Soren lives by his reputation. It is his business, his brand, his life!!! He will do ANYTHING to ensure you leave and return a very satisfied customer. If you want an average hairstyle don't bother coming here. If you want quality, a style that people will turn and notice, then stop looking and make an appointment with Soren!!!

My first experience at Soeren Salon was great. I was greeted by friendly staff, and made to feel relaxed and comfortable. Soeren is quite the expert and is very knowledgeable and friendly. I've never particularly loved my hair: until I got it cut here. My hair looks better than ever before, and I get compliments about it all the time now. Soeren suggested some great Kerastase and Davines products for my hair, which have kept it looking fantastic even after the haircut.
On top of that, their great website, including a new one for the iPhone, have made it so easy for me to get to know his staff, and even schedule appointments on the go.

Thank you Soeren and staff for a great experience- I have found a new salon home!

I have been getting my hair done by Soeren and I was more then impressed by how well the hair cut turned out.
My hair is pretty short and you might think there is not much to do with it but after I went to see Soeren my wife and coworkers gave me lots of compliments.
I never gotten that before. I also appreciated his offer to come back in for a clean up in between hair cuts. The salon looks very crisp and the staff is very friendly.

My hair has forever been unmanageable, unruly, and unforgiving. Although I like the idea of wearing it down, I have always been a bit hesitant to do so for fear that the humidity would further flatten my already limp hair. I was urged by a colleague of mine to try out Soren Salon, and request Jacob. After an hour of meticulous snipping, I finally realized what a difference a precision haircut makes- never before had I seen my hair SO incredibly healthy. shiny. and most importantly unwavering in this heat! I'm enjoying all the new compliments way too much to ever go back to a regular haircut!

I have been such a fan of Soren (stylist) and his wife Sheri (color) that I have followed them for over a decade. I and many others have always known that they should open their own salon. There beautiful salon does not disappoint. They have created a relaxing, stress-free environment. You don?t feel the pressure that just unfortunately exist in many of the get them in and get them out type salons. Every member of the staff is courteous and takes every measure to ensure that you are happy with your experience and ultimately your look. I will share with you yet another amazing experience in Soren Salon that I had last week. My Mother was in town visiting. I had my hair colored at Soren Salon and I explained to the colorist that I wanted chocolate brown color in my hair with highlights. She recommend that I just do highlights because that was "healthier for my hair". I'm thinking that the highlight would be brown (my hair is black) and some variation of a lighter brown. When I saw my hair it was a REDDISH brown with highlights that look orange in the sunlight. The point of me getting color was to just highlight my NATURAL color. She colored my hair, it doesnt look natural, it looked like she might as well colored my whole head because she did so many....highlights. I called the office and all they told me was I could come in and she could "fix" my hair, tone it down. I spent over $200...and I dont trust them to touch my hair again. So, even though I looked on city search and saw 50 plus reviews and thought this salon to fit my needs..but I was mistaken...dont be deceived...

i'm so very happy with this salon. i moved to Atlanta in Sept '08 and have been struggling to find a good stylist. someone who keeps to my appt time and doesn't keep me in the shop for hours on end. someone who is friendly, professional and assertive enough to fuss at me for not wrapping my hair. i love the fact that i always get a courtesy call the day prior to my appointment to remind me. jeffrey at the desk is so nice.

re-con is my main stylist and i took to her instantly. she cut my hair just the way i wanted it and styles it perfectly every time. however, i like the fact that, when re-con wasn't available on a particular day, jeffrey recommended that i see ashley. rachelle has done my highlights (i love them and will go back to her again!) and ashley has done the perfect blow-out.

and who doesn't like a salon that has sunday hours?!

i lived in dc for five years and saw the same stylist pretty much that entire time. it takes a lot to get my loyalty. all i really want is to be able to establish a rapport with my stylist and trust them with my hair...and not be in there all day. i won't mention the salons that i've been to when the stylist arrives 30 minutes after my appointment OR takes 3 other clients while working on my hair OR constantly switches up their schedule OR sees me an hour after i've arrived.

all i will say is that if you are looking for a professional, yet comfortable atmosphere in a salon with a staff that is top notch and displays high levels of customer service, then you want to go to Soren Salon. i'll see you there!

Soren has been cutting my hair for almost six years. I have always left the salon very impressed with how well my fine straight hair looks. Soren and his staff are are all about me!

I used to have my hair care needs met by Vidal Sassoon in Atlanta, Georgia which is where I first met Soren Loffler who was the Creative Art Director and Sheri Loffler who was the Manager and Head of the Color Department. Vidal Sasson saids, "If you don't look good, we don't look good". Now that Soren Loffler and Sheri Loffler are at Soren's Salon located at 3229 Paces Ferry Place, I know when I have stepped out of this salon, I look and feel my best ever because of their creative hair skills. So if you do not look and feel your best, then take time to step into this new and innovative hair care salon for your new style. I am sure you will find, like I have found, that this is the professional hair care team you can not be without.
