I guess the whole raw/live food lifestyle is becoming better known and more popular. Regardless of whether or not you are familiar with the terms "raw food" or "living food", it's just really good food at Pure Joy Cafe. They use organic ingredients and prepare the food in a way that maintains the "integrity"; more vitamins, more minerals, and the enzymes in tact. They are only open for lunch. My favorite: the tostadas! And the desserts are amazing. Note: they are inside the Board of Equalization building.
