High Energy DJ, Paul Peterson, San Diego Wedding DJ DJs, Fun

Im writing this for Paul Peterson. My wife and I just got married in Early October '09 and we couldnt have been more happier with our choice as DJ. Paul was the total professional during our event, being very formal and making sure all was done. Then during the reception, he brought the energy. He was able to mix a great selection of tunes to get people dancing. He was very attentive. At his urging we interviewed other DJs, but hands down everyone that we looked at didnt offer his great blend of energy and caring that comes through from him. As a final note, his prices were super reasonable which was great because we were very budget conscience and he came in under what we were hoping to spend!

We had Paul perform at our daughters wedding. Very high energy ... professional ... worked with my daughter to deliver the type of music she wanted ... funny ... got everyone dancing (all night long!). Delivered a breadth of music that kept everyone involved. His announcing skills are great! Job well done ... we will use him again.

Talk about truth in advertising! When first delving into the abyss of wedding vendors, Paul caught our eye with his very competitive price. To be honest, we had a big wedding to plan and not such a big budget so we took a closer look. After nothing but great reviews and a surprisingly upbeat initial conversation, he was our guy.
I have heard nothing but excellent stories and hugely positive experiences from the reception and I have to attribute the upbeat attitude and overall fun to Paul. Not only did he have seamless transitions through the different stages of the night, he was responsive to the crowd and made sure everybody was involved and having fun through the different events. Through all this, he wasn't just a statue in the background, he was dancing along and getting down both behind his gear and on the dance floor when appropriate. I can safely say he is the best DJ I've seen in action, regardless of the type of event, and would highly recommend him for any occasion. Thanks for helping make our wedding so fun!

This is the second time this year we've had Paul Peterson at my daughter's wedding's..He's beyond the best..I can't say enough about the caring of this man..He puts so much energy into it, that you would think it was his own daughter getting married..We really do look at Paul as family..You can't do better than Paul, not a chance, believe it! WORLD CLASS IS RIGHT!

Paul was incredible! He not only is your dj, he is the master of ceremonies. Guests kept asking where i found him. As soon as i read the reviews here, and we met in person, i automatically knew not to worry. Paul is a gentleman, organized, personable, courteous, professional, reasonably priced, i could keep going. I highly recommend Paul, one tip, you will not have a dj as fun as him.Thank you Paul!!

Paul was referred to us by our Pastor. He was so easy to work with. He really made the whole process seamless and easy. We just hired Paul for our May 8, 2009 wedding at the Thursday Club and have no regrets. He is reasonably priced, professional and FUN. He did everything we requested and more. If he didn't have a song, then he downloaded it. He did not miss a beat... so to speak :-) I would recommend him to anyone looking for a great DJ, especially for your big day. Thank you Paul!

Hiring Paul to be the DJ for our wedding was one of the BEST choices we made in the whole planning process! From our first phone call to him, where he immediately told us his availability and UNBELIEVABLE rates, to our first meeting with him, we were SO IMPRESSED! He is SUCH a CLASS ACT and knows exactly what he is doing!! As a matter of fact, we gave him a rundown of how we envisioned the ceremony going, with music, etc...and he was able to adapt to changes ON THE FLY! We did a sand unity ceremony that took A LONG time (unexpectedly)! He jumped right to, so no one had any idea it wasn't planned, and played our wedding song. The ceremony was flawless! And, he was BRILLIANT! He also handled playing a video we made to show all of our guests before the ceremony got started. Then, at the reception, he ran the whole party perfectly! Our caterers broke a whole load of plates which put dinner about 45 minutes behind, and he didn't skip a beat. The party continued and none of our guests even knew there was any kind of hiccup! He played all the right music as people ate, he talked and said all the right things on the mic, and then when the time came to get everyone up and movin' and groovin'...he got everyone doing just that! From our oldest guests to the youngest! Some of our BEST pictures from the night capture just how much FUN everyone was having thanks to Paul! He made SUCH an impression, our guests near and far are still asking about him, and saying they would hire him and fly him anywhere to DJ their event! We told them...that would be the SMARTEST choice you could make! He was SO ORGANIZED, and SO TIMELY, you could just count on him for everything during a time that is SO, SO STRESSFUL!! What a relief that he was available, our special day would NOT have been the same without him!! We can whole-heartedly assure any bride and groom, or party planners out there...you WON'T go wrong hiring Paul Peterson...he is the BEST!!!

Paul was the DJ for my daughter's wedding at Azul's Restaurant in LaJolla on March 28th, 2009. He was FANTASTIC!! I could not have wished for a better DJ and MC. He brought so much enthusiasm and energy to the reception and really has a way of connecting with the guest. Not only that but prior to the event Paul was always available and receptive to our needs. He always conducted himself in a very professional manner. If you need a DJ, please, please call Paul. You will not be disappointed.

We just used DJ Paul Peterson for a 2th Anniversary celebration. He was excellent. You never know what to exactly expect when you find someone on-line, but we were pleasantly surprised with Paul. He not only was a good Dj but he did a good job at handling all the business proceedings; like answering my phone/return emails and pre-event consultations (he met us for lunch to go over all the details!) in a timely and professional manner. We had a list of songs we specifically wanted and a photo montage to be played and DJ Paul went above and beyond with meeting our needs and being helpful. He was also very respectful and professional, no matter what our requests were. We loved him so much that we're having him DJ our sons graduation party in June!!

Attention Brides and Grooms: If you are looking for a DJ to MC your wedding with personality, a great voice, great energy, and genuine care for you and your guests, then look no further than Paul Peterson - High Energy DJ. Paul met with us before our event several times. He was on time and professional at all times. Paul was very receptive to our ideas and really listened to what we wanted for our wedding reception. When times came that we didn't know what to do, Paul stepped in with some very sensible and appropriate suggestions. My wife and I were so pleased at how genuinely friendly and warm Paul was from the minute we met. The day of the event, he went beyond just playing music. His vocal delivery of the reception program was spot on - crisp, clear, and entertaining. He really stepped up to the plate and chased us down when needed during the reception to get our feedback or to make any adjustments if needed (everything was perfect though). Paul has very reasonable rates and gives tremendous value for what you pay. Paul raise your rates!From the start of the event to the end, Paul's vast experience and knowledge shined through. We recommend Paul Peterson to friends and family everywhere. On a side note, If you also are interested in special lighting, we contracted someone that works with Paul. Together they worked really well as a team. His name is Brandon and he too is very knowledgeable in his field when it comes to equipment and putting together the best arrangement to fit your event. He brought great suggestions to the table and is also very reasonable with his rates.

His livelihood is to entertain you. Paul was hired for our company holiday party and was a very crucial element to making it a memorable night. Very well experienced, he has seen what works with all different personalities. Engaged in the activities to make sure our guests had a great time and we danced until the lights came back up. Ad hoc thinking, picks up on what is/isn't working in seconds and adjusts on the fly. Personality A+ and great music! Highly recommend and will definitely hire again. Thanks Paul!

Paul Peterson made the wedding of our daughter one to remember. Everyone had a great time and we would be pleased to recommend him to any one planning an event or wedding in the future. He was energetic, enthusiastic and a true professional.

His willingness to listen to our ideas and requests for the wedding, and then offer additional suggestions made the evening most successful and enjoyable for all.

One important factor was his ability as MC to interact with the audience and play the music that kept everyone involved. He was a definite asset to the evening and we have had many positive comments from our friends and family. He helped to make the evening special and one to remember for us and our guests.

It was a pleasure working with Paul Peterson/High Energy DJ for our December 27th wedding. He was very attentive and made me feel at ease, from our first meeting until the end of our wedding. I met with several people for each of the services that we were going to need at our wedding except for the DJ. When I met Paul I new that he was exactly what I was looking for. About a week after our meeting I called to let him know that I had forgotten to have him fill out paperwork for a sound amplification permit. I was very surprised to hear that he had already called the hall and had it faxed to him and that everything was already taken care of. That meant a lot to me that he was so on top of it.
Paul did the music for our ceremony and reception and everything was great. We had about 230 guests of all ages to entertain; he was very accommodating and made sure that there was a good mix. I had guest letting me know all night how fun and entreating Paul was. They enjoyed that he didnt just stand there but that he was participating. He made all announcements in a timely manner following the reception formant that we had gone over. Paul Peterson could not have done a better job, I would highly recommend him.

High Energy DJ, Paul Peterson, has been playing the music at our corporate holiday parties for years. You cannot find a DJ who is more professional and who has high energy fun than Paul. From start to end we had a blast! This is the man you want at your event to make it a more memorable one!

Paul Peterson of High Energy DJ is fun, thoughtful, enthusiastic, and professional. Those are just a few of the things that come to mind when reflecting on how he made our 20th High school Reunion a blast! Paul was so friendly and accommodating. He even helped us light candles when our caterers forgot! The 80's music and fun on the dance floor was great, but Paul went the extra mile. Do yourself and your party-goer's a favor and book Paul for your event. He was awesome!

Paul Peterson was very, courteous, responsive and informative throughout the whole planning and execution of our annual Ashley Falls Fall Carnival school fundraiser. He played a good variety of songs and was very helpful in keeping people informed and participating with the day's many events. All together a great experience for the children and adults. He came to visit the hall prior to party to arrange for best sound/lighting effect and continuously kept in touch with us all the way till the party day to make sure his music match every detail of our program. Paul, the owner of High Energy DJ, did our wedding last month and every detail was handled. He had coordinated with us weeks leading up to the event as well as the day of event with all my other vendors. His music selection was appropriate and fun. Best of all, was hearing from all my guests saying they had such a good time weeks after the wedding.I feel truly fortunate to have been able to book Paul for my wedding ceremony and reception, and all of this at such reasonable prices.Thank you again and again Paul.
