I am nothing but satisfied with Fabulocs. I'm surprised to see that someone wrote a bad revew about the shop with regards to sister locs when everyone (well real clients) kinows that they don't do sister locs there at all.
I have traditional locs and I can always count on loren to style my hair in ways that make me stand out. I always get stopped on the street and I can't begin to tell you how good it feels to look my best daily.
I'm a customer for life and loren is the best!

I was very disappointed with Fabulocs and the owner. First she (owner) told me she was going to do Sista Locs, then changed to Micro locs. That was cool, but when she did my Micro Locs, she only locked 1/4 to 1/2 of my hair. She told me she didn't want to loc my entire head; she wanted to keep my natural curl. She is the Loctitition so I thought she was the expert. Months later, the hair she never locked became thick and ugly. Parts of my hair were locked, the rest was a big mess. Some of my locs were fat, others thin. I was soo disappointed and hurt. I can't even show my entire head after almost 1 year. I stopped going to her after 7 or 8 months. I paid $450 and my head looks like terror.
Her shop is beautiful, and she and her employees are nice.

I truly love my hair and thanks to Lorin, my natural stylist. After going to other braiders who put synthetic hair in my hair as I transitioned to all natural hair, my own hair is growing and looking great. She even talked me into leaving the rinses out of my hair which was very difficult for me (showing the gray!) Fabulocs is a premier salon for natural hair care and takes pride in making their customers happy and satisfied. They don't believe in blow drying the hair until it is bone strait just to braid it. Everywhere I go, I get compliments on my hair. Thanks Lorin and Nimat!!

Nimat started my locs back in Dec 2008 , I then went through the I hate my hair phase so i ended up combing them out . Maybe two weeks later I let someone else start my locs and like before I was ready to throw in the towel and comb them out until I scheduled an appointment went Nimat once again.After leaving my appointment I was sooooooooooooooooo in love with my hair , it looked neat and healthy . Also Nimat is extremely knowledgeable of her craft , the entire time she explained te different phases I would go through and she assured me that the greatest reward was at the end. She also let me know that I could call her if I ever had any questions and needed advice . I Ifyour looking for great results and beautiful natural styles I would definately recommend Nimat and her entire staff at Fabulocs

Nimat started my locs over eight years ago. I refuse to let anyone else do my hair. Her knowledge about natural hair and locs cannot be matched. Over the years she has done my hair in many different styles. Her creativity is so "like that," I haven't had the same pinup twice. Almost everyday someone compliments my locs, both male and female, even when it's close to my next appointment and I have the "frizzies." People have come up to me at airports, grocery stores, even in the street, admiring and inquiring about my locs. (I keep Fabulocs business cards with me at all times.) Some people even ask if they can touch my locs. I love the products she's created that can be used for the hair and the body. I have followed Nimat to three locations and each place gets better. She's efficient, punctual and professional. The atmosphere is soothing and relaxing and the other stylists and customers are very pleasant and friendly. The new salon is absolutely wonderful. What's even more wonderful is Nimat's dedication to her clients to have beautiful AND "healthy" hair. Won't be long before my hair will be as long as I've always dreamed. Keep up the good work, Sweetie.

Fabulocs is a World Class Natural Hair Salon! I have been a regular customer with Fabulocs for the past nine years, since I started locing my hair. My stylist knows "my" individual hair and actually talks to me about how to keep it healthy. They use only the best products.The stylists are very professional and efficient. I appreciate that I don't have to wait in the shop to get my hair done. My hair is done at my appointment time. Fabulocs cares about its customers. It is a clean, relaxed atmosphere without the back-biting and gossip that occurs in most salons. The customers are happy, positive people. I am very happy with Fabulocs and I trust my stylist, Nimat. I just recently let Fabulocs cut my locs since they were almost to my hips. I wouldn't have entrusted this to any other shop. My hair is healthy and longer than it has ever been in my lifetime.

I was having real problems finding a good natural hair salon cause the last time I had my hair braided my hair began falling out! I was really really afraid to find another place to get my hair done. I was told about this little shop by a friend, she said she's guarantee that I'd be happy. If it hadn't been for her goin out on a limb like that I'd still have my momma braiding my hair! (She thinks shes good at it, well shes not really, but thats TLC and my hair won't fall out either) So, I go to Fabulocs and lord chile... I loved IT! When I looked up at that mirror after I got out of that chair I couldn't recognize myself. I feel radiant and more beautiful than I ever felt. My hair is growing nicely and the products you used made me feel like a queen again. Thanks Fabulocs for restoring my faith in natural hair care.

This small all natural hair salon caught me by surprise. I was referred by a family member. I did not know what to do with my daughters natural hair but the salon did an amazing job on her hair. We were happy with the service and the friendly staff members and have since been back several times. The lead stylist and shop owner gave tips on how to keep natural hair healthy and seems to give all of her customers special attention. I appreciate good service wherever I should find it and felt the need to let everyone know about my personal experience with Fabulocs hair salon. Oh, by the way, they make a special, all natural, shea butter cream that is good for everything. thank youRB

I visited the shop for the first time to have maintenance done on my locs. I relocated from the Hampton Roads area and was concerned that I would not be able to find a loctician performing the crotchet method. The shop is located in a warehouse section of Ritchie Road and doesn't look like the typical salon. However, it is clean and nicely decorated on the inside. My loctician was patient and was able to determine my hair needs. She did an excellent job and I had no problems with the products used (and I have a dry and itchy scalp). I highly recommend Fabulocs services and I plan to return.
