We have been to the Totinos at the old location and the it was very good. Unfrotunatley we decided to drive out and try their new location on Hwy 10. We had the worst meal we've ever had. They no longer have wine or beer, apparently lost their license. My wife ordered the lasgna dinner. With a dinner you would expect to get a salad, but not here. According to the waitress you have to order the buffet if you want a salad. The lasagna came in what looked like a cereal bowl that was filled to the top with what tasted like tomato sauce straight from the can, no flavor at all. The actual noodle and cheese after you found it couldn't have been any larger than 2 square inches. Also they don't serve any bread with the meals. I ordered the combination pizza. It came in a square pan and looked good. Thats as far as it went. It was not cut all the way thru because the crust was as hard as a rock, I could hardly cut thru it with a knife. The sauce had no Italian flavors at all. The crust tasted like a cheap frozen pizza that is sold at the corner gas station. Our advice is to stay away. An Italian restaurant with no wine, no bread, no salad, Please.

Totino's Italian Kitchen has been a family owned business for five decades. Earlier this year it moved from NE Minneapolis to Mounds View. The move hasn't affected business, as the place was full the night we dined there. The food is good and the prices are reasonable. My favorite is the meat ball sandwich, which for me is enough for two meals.
