Harbour is beautiful. The interior has the basic elements of being on a yacht, without the sandy, salty feeling. The place is flushed with soft yellow lighting, candles, and nautical artwork. Even though the space may be narrow, it adds to the charm of really being in a boat's dining room. Definitely a great place to bring a date!

I had the tasting menu and it was delicious; the flavors were amazing and the presentation was really clean, delicate, and detailed. Like the diner below, I had the squid and the arctic char, and both dishes were memorable especially with the wine pairings. The tasting menu is a great deal, and there were many complimentary dishes before each plate to keep you entertained, and in the end, it really enhanced the overall experience. For dessert, I had the chocolate ganache tart with cashew butter, and shiso ice cream and it was grand! The tart and the ice cream were served side-by-side, but taken together, there was a thoughtful balance between the warm, rich, velvety chocolate, and the cool, creamy, gentle shiso. It was the first time I had ever tasted shiso, and it was so mind boggling that the one herb can be a natural basil-mint hybrid.

I can't wait to dine here again!

Pros: Walking distance from Christopher Street Path Station

Cons: Wasn't able to try sodas on the menu; will post when I do!

Everything at Harbour is light and fresh. It's one of those restaurants where you won't regret the high caloric count for your meal because it's healthy food. I had the squid and arctic char - both of which were mouth-watering! The palette cleanser and petit fours were divine touches. The sommelier's wine pairings really made the flavors pop too. The service is so attentive! I dropped my fork, and before I could bend down to pick it up, the waiter had already replaced my fork on the table.

Pros: The absolute best butterscotch pudding ever created!

Cons: The location is kind of far.

the front of the restaurant is a long hallway type area that leads you to a private and unique dining area that makes you feel as if you are dining inside of a grand yacht, the servers are freindly and helpful, the chef graces you throughout your meal with little treats like:a spin off of a traditional pea soup that is light and intresting, the other complimentary treats include an assortment of cookies, caramels and marmalades, a mango sorbet with a splash of natural orange soda. Our side dishes like the cauliflower gratin was served in a personal cast iron skillet and was creamy yet had the texture of fresh young cauliflower. The main dishes included a hake fish which is not common to find on most seafood restaurant menus, it was perfectly seared, very delicate and rich in flavor. the Soft shell crab was served with a poached egg which balanced the crunchiness perfectly. overall this restaurant has earned a seat at the table with other fine new york restaurants and will be around for a long time to come.
