We had a group of 6 dine at the Blue Pearl Buffet last evening and I would strongly suggest eating there. The Food was bland at best and it is a Chinese buffet vs. Korean buffet. All fried food tasted as if it were frozen and no flavor. The General TSO chicken was horrible, mostly dough rather than meat. The crab legs were greasy, how does that happen?? The desserts were store bought and customer service is lack luster to say the least. I would not recommend this restaurant even to an enemy. Consider your self warned.

My family and I went there to eat a couple of days ago. The food was hot and fresh and the waitresses brought my drinks to my seat so quickly! It beats alot of other chinese buffets that I have been to!! Everything from the dim sum to the sushi was really nice. We had a large group of people (25 people total) and believe me there is more than enough parking! I really can't complain about the place, we were able to have a family meal/gathering for less than $300 dollars. GREAT!!

I hate the place and the management. The male manager was rude and the chinese girl at the cashier has no manners to their customers. They do not have enough parking space. It can only fit 20 cars total at their parking lot. If there's a special occasion or even just an ordinary days you are host!!! Also, make sure you double check your receipts, they always charge multiple times, and If you complaint, their excuse, Oh I'm so sorry, I did not hear you well. That's BS excuse.

I had my daughter's Baptism reception there about 3 weeks ago. We had about 20 people attend ranging from 4 month old to 75 year old. Everyone I talked to was very satisfied. I LOVED the dim sum bar... My 7 year old son and his friends liked the sushi bar. Over all everybody had a specific taste that was available. Even my brother-in-law got me to taste the frog's legs... yes it tastes like chicken... and was surprisingly good.

Food: Everything was fresh. Plates, utensils and environment is very clean. I didn't get to try everything but the Sushi & Dim sum bars are awesome.

Facilities: Bathrooms are clean and maintained. My only complaint is there was not Baby-Changing station.

Costs: I had about 17 adults and 3 kids (either 2 or 3 and under are free & kids are discounted) and only spent about $250 on a busy Saturday lunch.

Reservations: I walked in and asked about reservations. She took my name and phone number and number of guests. I walked out. Showed up on Saturday around 11 am and the section was ready. Simple.

Conclusion: In this tough economy this is a very budgeted way to have a get-together. If I went to a different restaurant it would have cost me more than $500 easily. I highly recommend it.

Date & Time: Sunday lunch
Party #: 3
Price: $13 for adults; $12 for senior citizens

Blue Pearl Buffet replaced its predecessor Dragon Sea Buffet to offer a much higher quality buffet line, selection, and service. I usually dread buffets, but I was delighted at the foods available here...

Chicken feet (yes!!), frog legs, shark fin dumplings, heated soymilk, pho (each made individually; about 5 minute wait), sushi, duck, mango chicken, then the usual - crabs, salmon, white fish, mussels, oysters, prawns, General Tso's chicken, sweet & sour chicken, beef & pork on a stick, steamed & fried dumplings, egg drop soup, wonton soup, hot & sour soup, fried bananas, fruit & salad buffet line. A few things that were pleasantly surprising were that the General Tso's chicken was mostly white meat, there were fresh strawberries in the fruit line, there was a designated food watcher calling out to the kitchen which to bring out so there was never an empty buffet dish, and they have bubble tea (boba)!!!

My dining experience here was very satisfying, and especially it was great that I didn't have to complete my usual tradition of having to go to the Chinese bakery afterwards and get boba for my dessert! I will definitely be returning.

Definitely better than Sea Dragon. Honkong soup alone would be a meal. The dim sen dishes are very good. The baby clams exceptional. At dinner try the Duck and ribs. Non alcoholic drink is included in the very reasonable price.

This restaurant used to be another restaurant under a different name (Dragon Sea Buffet). I suppose that the restaurant was sold. The buffet has a large variety with many authentic Chinese items (including some shark fin, frog legs, etc.), but the food for this new restaurant is not as tasty as it was for the previous restaurant. A Sunday buffet costs about $12 per person so is reasonably priced, and cashiers and servers were friendly. I used to go to the previous restaurant off and on for a few years but probably will not return to this newer one just because the taste of the food could be improved.
