Great place with lots to do. The bars are interesting and there is allot going on at all times. "The Bar" is towards the middle and has a interesting karaoke crowd. The hotel is okay and does have a tower so you do not feel too disconnected. A lot of locals go here so you are bound to meet some fun people.

I really liked this casino and hotel as a local because it was away form the strip. The buffet located inside is also pretty good. It's worth signing up for the points card as it gives you perks without spending much money.

Everything in this casino is mediocre to poor! The staff at the race and sports book is rude, the cafe food is HORRIBLE and overpriced, the buffet wait line is REALLY long, and it's too smoky. To top it off, their dealers are all hacks!

This casino is newer than most and it is off the strip. So you can count on it not being as packed as some of the casinos. The are very friendly and bring frequent refreshments to the players.

Rooms may be secured at this casino/hotel at bargain-basement rates without compromising quality. We have never encountered lines at check-in and service is friendly. This a place patronized by locals, retirees and those who cannot otherwise afford the Strip prices. Food options are extensive and generally good though the Feast buffet is well below average. I recommend the Broler (steaks/seafood), Guadajara (Mexican) and Pasta Palace (Southern Italian). This is a family friendly hotel with Kids Quest and 11 screen movie theatre. We usually stop in at the Railhead where on Thursday nights touring blues acts perform for free or at nominal charge. The sports book is large and seems to attract a large crowd. The pool area is rediculously small and unattractive. The casino offers the usual array of gambling options and some full-pay video poker games.

Pros: Inexpensive rates

Cons: poor buffet and tiny pool

This is a good theatre to go to. You don't have to walk very far into the casino to get to the theatres which is nice. This theatre also will show movies at this theatre that you don't always find at the others in town. We like to go here because Boulder Station has nice restaurants that we can go to also, and this casino is closer to us, and not downtown on the busy strip.
