great place to relax with friends

by Jennifer D. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 3,793

I love all the wine steals locations. They always have comfortable seating where you can lounge with your friends and taste wonderful wines. Their cheese wheel is fantastic and goes nicely with the tastings. The prices are great and they are always willing to answer your questions about the wines.

Wines Steals

by Jenn M. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 10,321

Great location in Liberty Station right on the golf course. This location is a big step up from the Hillcrest location. The wine selection is similar but food is much better. Outside patio seating is a huge plus. The staff is just as friendly and knowledge. They have a great deal on Sunday's called Doggie Sunday's; bring your dog and get a great selection of food 50% off. The Sunday crowd is also laid back and friendly.

Good atmosphere!

by Jen A. | insider Insider | Rank: 13,347

We enjoy meeting friends at Wine Steals pretty regularly.
We wish the service was not so "one-size fits all" though. I prefer to be seated and relax, rather than fighting to place my order at the bar... Outside you can do that, but inside it is rarely an option. Kinda awkward.
But, nice atmosphere, Good prices, & good food!

Great Wine Shop

by Mrs. L. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 603

Wine Steals has many bottles of wine from all over the world for you to buy. But, they also have a large wine bar and nice patio to enjoy some wine and cheese. They have a great happy hour (wine/beer) for about $4 a glass. They have rooms for bigger parties too.
