I went to Bert's Megamall short before Christmas without the intention to buy anything. I was just looking around for great motorcycles and deals. Went to some other Dealers and decided to go back to Bert's before the New Year as my bank had approved me on a motorcycle loan. I'm glad I did this as they slashed the prices using Red Tag Sales, got Military Discount on the 48 month warranty extension and a Motorcycle Jacket. Guess the end of the month and the holidays in between is the best time for shopping. Garry Mullen (Finance) and Larry Garcia (Sales) were helpful making this purchase a very good experience for me. However, make sure to negotiate with these guys wherever you can, because the handling and set-up fees are way too high based on the industry. Best thing is to make good research (go on the motorcycle manufacturers homepage) and defiantly have the cash or the check in your hand and things will go pretty smooth for you.

Well I can speak on my experience. This is my second bike I buy from Berts. about 7months ago I bought a 2013 zx636 which off course was cash. the sales person LUCAS was great in n out about 1hr tops. except for the Hispanic sales manager he was a straight up douche for sure.

I just bought my second bike from them 15 gsxr750, started off with ZARLI, she was awesome corresponding over e-mail and having everything ready for me when I walked in SAT. she doesn't work weekends and I was greeted by JASON a young cat he was cool, he seemed a little timid but he did a great job overall making sure he did everything possible to have me interested and conversation which is good for the nerves you don't want to be there feeling like they're going to screw you. then the sales manager GARY, now he was fantastic and he gets for sure a 10...as i told them I will be buying another bike...once im done paying off the 750!!!! I will be buying merchandise though ;-)

" this bike is a hot commodity " la-lalala-la it would sell for this and that. But one thing I hate is being told one thing and getting told something different when my bike finally shows (KTM RC390), Especially when I'm paying "green backs" for something. Anyways in the end I think we all saw eye to eye and worked out a fare deal, but I was upset through the process. Thanks management / and everyone who took part in the process Great guys!. I did not enjoy it but we got it done and I can say one thing about the bike "Awesome "Next time ill be sure to pack a lunch. or hope to avoid eating at all :).......J.bear

If you know what MSRP is and know what you want to pay then this is the place that will respect you. It does take a bit of negotiation but then somehow this has become an American game of purchase. I brought a scarce commodity at a fair price. My local dealer wanted $1500 over MSRP and would not budge.

The service department is well organized and does what they promise.

Fair - reliable - that's about what I am asking for

I just bought a beautiful Yamaha Raider S from Bert's. I am a customer 4-Life! First, it started with seeing unbelievable prices they offered on Cycle Trader. Second, I called Marli Tun (sales rep) to confirm these low prices and to even try and improve. In no more than two 5-minute calls she offered me a GREAT deal I couldn't refuse. There was no haggling involved, she went strait to the punch. Third, she took me to Gary Mullen (finance manager) who honored every bit of that great deal within an hour. Together they had me sitting on my sled with 2-hours. And FYI they offered this bike for $4000+ less than a big competitor in San Bernardino. Trust me, go to Bert's!

First my history with Berts..I have purchased many units from there. I have always received good service and great prices. But this last purchase was not good..I ended up paying $1400 over the msrp and got basically raped for my trade in.. But i agreed to the prices so i cant blame them..But what got me was, when i got home i learned there was a $700 factory polaris rebate for the 2014 rzr 4 800s. So i called kennedy who assisted with my sale and i advised him of the rebate. He advised me the rebate only applies for certain models..i advised him my model qualifies. When i told him that his repsonse was, "Everything is included in the price" I then asked him , the $700 rebate was given to me? he said it was already discounted in the price. Yeah right..thats such BS.. If i got the rebate he wouldve mentioned the rebate during the sales and it shouldve been in the break down on the sales paper. Plus when i asked him about it..he wouldve never said, "It only applies to certain models" So i know for a fact i didnt get it which is BS. So now i feel robbed. I emailed Polaris and thet advised me the rebate has to be redeemed during the sale. SO im sh** out of luck..I left a ewview on Yelp regarding this..I get a generic response saying pls contact us at a # , we like to hear your concerns. So i called and it went to a voice mail..i left a message for Ron S and i never received a call back. You guys call that customer service? I felt so angered by the lack of customer support and to make things right but i guess they dont want to..Now the big question..will i purchase from them again? most likely not il try chaparral or some other dealers before going back to berts. thks Berts for ruining my trust and good past experience with u guys.

Had a GREAT experience over at Berts Mega Mall and I have to admit I do not live anywhere in the area as I typically buy from other shops near my home or places that have sponsored me over the years. What attracted me to Berts was they had 1 of only (3) KTM 450 SX-F Factory Editions in southern California. So I knew what I wanted and worked with Dino in sales to come up with a good deal. Dino and I had a great time talking bikes and also about Berts MM along with their great selections and the emphasis on their Customer Service since they are a full service facility. Dino was great to work with in sales as he professionally handed off to Garry Mullen in Finance to wrap things up.

Gary made it all very easy and painless as we know how finance people can be sometimes. He went through all the options and explained the contract very well as we wrapped up things. We then also talked bikes as these guys ride and play like we do so they share our passions. I felt treated very well and had a good experience. I will go back in the future and give them a chance on my next purchase along with considering them for service work. Going to have to check out their online services and see how there pricing is in pther areas. They have a very nice facility that covers all your needs

Purchased a new Suzuki there on 10-31-14. The sales experience was perfect. The sales manager, Miguel, and the salesman, Donald were great. Miguel understood the big picture, and because I knew what I wanted and how much I was willing to pay, things went very smoothly. Donald helped me out with all of my extraneous questions, and was willing to pick me up from the Metrolink station on his day off so that I could collect my bike and ride it home some 70 miles away.
I can't say I was too impressed with the fellow who gave me my orientation on the bike the day I picked it up; Sean. I was informed all along that the people who do this posess a wealth of information, and that it was impressive listening as to how much you could actually learn. I must have had a substitute, because Sean did not know where you locate the level of coolant in the bike, and also told me some things that were blatantly not true--(suspension could not be adjusted). Wouldn't it have been better to have a master mechanic do the orientation?

I went in to get some numbers run on a 2013 Triumph Street Triple and man the sales guys are rude. I was helped by 3 different sales managers all pretty rude. I just wanted the numbers ran and if it was good was going to return tomorrow with the insurance and everything done. Nope, these guys were not having it. They kept trying to assume why I didn't want to get it now, which was "Is money a issue?" or "Why waste you're time get it right now" and a couple more annoying statements. Money was not the issue and the simple reason I wanted to return tomorrow was because I had things to do and really didn't have time to sit for a couple hours and do nothing. But nope they kept insisting and I had to request 3 different times from 3 different sales associates that I would like my I.D and credit card so that I could leave but they kept sending another my way to try and save the deal which was EXTREMELY annoying. If you are going to buy a bike from here make sure you have a lot of time on your hand because they will take forever. Also make sure you research the bike before hand. I didn't like the attitude of many of the sales associates because they thought they knew a lot about the bikes but when I was talking to them, they seem to just make generic statements.I even got one of the sales associates to say that a GSXR has traction control. No it doesn't. I do believe my young age was a strong reason their sales approach and just business ethics representing Bert's was so terrible. I feel sorry that Triumph has to be represented by them because when I go to a Triumph only dealer, nicest people ever. I honestly believe the Service Department personnel should make the sales because they are friendly and informative. The service department is excellent. The man that always helps me is Jordan Alan, guy is a stud, ladies. He really is helpful and is always honest with me when it comes to dealing with maintenance on my bike. I have a 2013 Triumph street Triple and couldn't be happier taking it to Bert's service. They get the job done pretty quick as long as you schedule an appointment so you can just roll in and they begin working on your bike. Haven't had any issues with the service department which is good and I will keep coming here for years to come. I would like to rate the service department 10 out of 5 because they have been that good for me. As for buying another bike here I don't think so. I got the survey call from Florida and told them about my bad experience and no one from Bert's has called to apologize which is obvious to me they don't really care after they get that sale.

I have been buying vehicles for years and this was the first time buying a recreational vehicle. I came to Bert's based on their sales persons word they could beat the price I had been given from another dealer by where I live. I drove some 100 miles to make this deal happen. I showed the sales person the deal I had on the table for the same (I though) apple to apples comparison and we started to bargaining on the lower price. He indicated he did not have the same but there was a Yamaha Viking on their floor that was the same as the one I already had. I was very excited and please how he was handling the deal. So I decided to also purchase the trailer as part of a total package. From there we went over to parts to order the assessories to match with my current price of the other vehicle I had as a comparison. My mistake for not rereading the paper work and trusting in the sales person. The other mistake was paying it all in cash. When I got home thinking I had made a great deal only to find out it cost me almost 1,100 dollars more plus the cost of the gas to drive that far. The unit I was now buying from Bert's did not have EPS a long with a few other things. There is a lot more I could say about this store but there are some of the people who do try and help. Like my service advisor Niles, made me feel like a valued customer. I could say more about my buying experience but I would run out of space. None of my Facebook friends say they would no buy a place like that as well as did my hunting and fishing friends. I plan to give more detail when the people call me from Florida with their survey request.

I came to Bert's based on their sales persons word they could beat the price I had been given from another dealer by where I live. I drove some 100 miles to make this deal happen. I showed the sales person the deal I had on the table for the same (I though) apple to apples comparison and we started to bargaining on the lower price. He indicated he did not have the same but there was a Yamaha Viking on their floor that was the same as the one I already had. I have been a salesman for 20 years, and when I purchase I don't have the patients for sales pitches( that's what I do). I normally research what I'm going buy, so I can be one step ahead. I looked Bert's up on the internet, and received a response from Zarli. when I called back 2 months later she remembered who I was. Wow! She also made recommendations on what I should purchase. This girl knows her bikes. Zarli set me up with Lucas who walked me through each step. Lucas knew all about my choices, and really built the relationship. This is something lacking in the environment today. I hope that never changes at Bert's. I didn't have to haggle, because Bert's was competitive from the start.
The staff stayed late to complete my purchase, to meet my schedule. Then I met Gary. He took my money, but with a smile of coarse... Once again Gary took my purchase into a friendship. I really feel like I made some new friends.
They even called me the next day to make sure I made it home ok.
I will purchase from Bert's just because of their ability to service.

I called the day before to ask a few questions about the bike and i was able to talk to Deniro Maiorino in sales and he gave me all the info i needed and was willing to do anything to make sure i was able to purchase this bike. i went the next day and had him help me out and he also worked with the price. Once i said yes to the bike Deniro took it right over to get ready so i could take it home with me. when it came done to finance i was able to work with Bruno Sandoval. he was great and explained everything to me and made sure i did everything right and made sure it was something that i could afford. He had a good attitude about everything and wasnt just rushing through everything. these two guys made my first experience there and first purchase successful. evereything they guarenteed me i got before leaving. I must say...my recent experience with Bert's service dept was outstanding!!!!

I just moved to Cali from Las Vegas with a new RZR4, and my old cycle/utv shop did not have a branch here locally. I was told by a friend that Bert's was the place to go, so I went "blind" to their shop and hoped for the best.

Luckily I met with a gentleman in the service department named Niles Grant....great guy!....I told him my story ....that I was new to area etc.....and that I was looking to do aftermarket exhaust work, juice box, fuel box, high flow filter etc....along with paddles....

He took the time to talk to me about my needs and make suggestions to make the install perform as I wanted.....he then walked me thru the shop area so I could see where they do the work....nice clean large shop....

after we discussed all my needs....Niles wrote me a quote estimate....my wife came back a few days later with RZR in tow ....I was given an estimated completion date. .. and left it in their hands

Niles then walked me over to the parts department to speak with a gentleman so he could make suggestions on my options for paddles based on my specific RZR setup....I purchased paddles and a few other items and added them to the work order

Niles called me a few days before due date to let me know my ordered parts were in and we were schedule to complete in time....

on the completion day I received a call from another person in the service dept informing me the RZR was done and ready for pick up....right on time

I must tell you how refreshing it was for me coming to a new state...and being treated like my business is important....to be shown the facility etc....I am very very happy with my experience....and my wife made a comment to me on the way home about how nice it was to deal with Niles.....

we are going to have more modifications done.....and I assure you...we will be going to see Niles.....

A few weeks ago I picked up a Ducati 848 Evo and the entire team at Bert's was a pleasure to deal with. Yesterday was the first day in 10 years that I have walked into a motorsport store of any kind. I had no memory or idea of what I was doing, the lingo of the industry or anything, just a general thought of what I wanted to buy. I was immediately greeted as I walked through the front doors and directed to the sales person I spoke with on the phone. I am a disabled veteran and I have a service dog I bring with me everywhere. Most places don't like to help or shy away from me because of the dog. At Bert's I honestly felt like family. Every single employee was so nice and welcoming of both me and my service dog which made the whole buying experience that much better. When a place treats you like royalty, or at least that is how it seemed to me, and doesn't put pressure on your purchasing decision, but is there to guide you and help you through every step of the process, it is 110% easier to make a decision that you feel is correct and meets your needs. I also went in with a certain budget in mind. The bike I wanted was WAY WAY off budget but management was more then willing to work with the numbers and out price much/all of the competition I had been dealing with. It's easy to say great store A+ as many reviews do, but when someone really means it, then you have the material and motivation to write a review which means so much more and give everyone else a much better understanding of what it means to shop at a particular store. I would in a heart beat go back to Bert's for any future purchases, for any accessories, or for anything! When I had finished buying my bike, it was presented to me detailed and free of any scratches or blemishes. In fact, they had to switch out the same unit that had just been detailed because the sales person found a scratch on the cycle for me, if that isn't honesty and integrity I am not sure what is. I was also given a full demonstration of how to operate my new bike being that it has been so long since I have had my last one and shown everything about the bike, the ins and outs. They really took their time to make sure I was satisfied and confident in my decision. The accessories department was also very helpful and took a good couple of hours to walk me through the accessories I would need (i.e. helment, gloves, jacket) and there was absolutely no pressure, just the help I needed. I also want to mention the finance manager I worked with, he made me feel at home and like family. The paperwork process was fast and simple with no gimmicks. I would recommend Bert's to anyone and stand behind that recommendation fully. Best of luck to all future buyers!

When I went to Bert's Ben Kennedy met me at the door and showed me a few sea-doos in the arena I was looking for. He was very knowledgeable about the watercraft and was honest and straight forward with me. I was then hooked up with Gary Mullen to finish the paper work. Gary was also strait forward and didn't beat around the bush with me but gave me the straight scoop. I felt very comfortable with these guys and didn't feel like I was getting a run around. My experience in Bert's was excellent. In case you can't tell, I did purchase a sea-doo when I was there

I had an amazing experience at Berts Mega Mall. Tony Birtle was so helpful and answered all my questions. When I can in the Mega Mall I didn't know what to expect, it was my first bike purchase and I didn't know anything about bikes. I was pretty intimidated when walking into this HUGE, CLEAN, LUXURIOUS-LOOKING SHOWROOM of Big Boy Toys! Tony made it so simply and he was so patient with all my questions. He didn't seem like a sales man at all, in fact it felt like the complete opposite, he was a educator, advise and give great recommendations, and he knew his bikes like an expertise. ALL the bikes i saw were in mint looking condition, I felt like a kid in a candy store. Tony helped narrow my searches down to the questions he was asking me. I came up on a 2008 Yamaha R6 (SOOOOO CLEAN). Once I laid my eyes on it, I wanted it. One problem, It was a little out on my budget, but not much. My credit wasn't good either,just in case I needed to finance. Well, told him my credit wasn't great, so I knew I couldn't finance, but I tried anyways because I really really wanted that bike. Filled out the credit application, and crossed my fingers....5 minutes, 10 minutes later, Tony comes back and says, "I have some good news". I couldn't believe I was approved! Man, Berts works with people with almost any type of credit score. The price was a little high, and I didn't want to go out my budget. Not only was I approved of financing, but Tony and his manager worked with me to get the bike around my budget! I love this place! I didn't know much about it before I went there, but now, its my new favorite auto store. Oh, I'm also going back tomorrow to get a bike cover and gear b/c the also have a huge auto store there too. I also got the 2 year warranty with covers EVERYTHING from electrical to the engine. Its diffidently a MUST. They also delivered for FREE!!!!! This place is like I'm in a movie!! I recommed that everyone goes there before buying any type of biking and off road vehicles. In my opinion, save your time and effort, be more efficient, just go there for all your needs, you WONT find a better deal, better customer service/expertise, or a better bike for the price.

We had the worse experience with them, don't believe them, specially Bobby. I will not recommend anyone to buy anything from them, they are full of sheet.

Miguel in Service came through for me when I really needed some repairs. Miguel persistently contacted the manufacture and fought to have them (Ducati) cover some work. Within a few days Miguel called me with some good news. Ducati agreed to stand behind their name and cover all the work. If it wasn't for Miguel's hardwork, dedication and persistence I would have no choice but to pay for the repairs.

ZERO Stars!! Honesty is not one of their best policies here. Over the phone they make it sound like there is no problem financing anyone. But, when you get there it's a different story. Alot of Haggling, Alot of Money Down, Alot of Pressure, Alot of Salesman coming at you with very high numbers. And then during signing I got another surprise and was told that I have to carry comp and collision on a Dirt Bike!!! We ended up making a deal, but it was a far cry from what we discussed on the phone. I wouldn't recommend these guys to anyone.

ZERO Stars!! Honesty is not one of their best policies here. Over the phone they make it sound like there is no problem financing anyone. But, when you get there it's a different story. Alot of Haggling, Alot of Money Down, Alot of Pressure, Alot of Salesman coming at you with very high numbers. And then during signing I got another surprise and was told that I have to carry comp and collision on a Dirt Bike!!! We ended up making a deal, but it was a far cry from what we discussed on the phone. I wouldn't recommend these guys to anyone.

I really dont want to put any star they dont even deserve a portion of the star. They told me that the GSXR is or sale, then i asked for the out the door price which means including everything, and the sales person told me twice the price of the motorcycle, I mean about about five grand more than what the internet msrp is, can you believe that? Come on people, not everybody in CA can't do that math, I'm sure that people here in SoCal can figure out what Berts mega mall is doing. They have a very big selection though... that's because nobody buys from them. Drive the extra miles and go somewhere else.

It sounds like everyone complaining about price either just walked in and bought the first thing they saw or didn't do any internet price checking beforehand. I got an excellent deal after haggling and threatening to leave a couple times but that is the game you play when purchasing any vehicle. I only gave it 4 stars because it took them forever to process my paperwork even tho I was paying cash

I told the sales person that I was unwilling to go over a certain amount of money on a toy. I asked if he was willing to make a deal. He said he would check with the manager. 20 minutes later he came back with a price $1,000 more than I was willing to spend. I explained that it wouldn't make sense for me to spend so much and that I didn't want to go back and forth all day. He told me to wait a few minutes. 10 minutes later he came back and took $100 off the last price. I thanked him for his time and asked for my ID back. He said ok and 15 minutes later he came back with the manager who explained that they couldn't go any lower. I said that I could do better elsewhere and asked for my ID back. He said ok. 20 minutes later the sales person returned and asked me what I thought about this other bike he had. I told him that I want to leave, and asked for my ID back. He said ok. 10 minutes later he returned and said his manager was making a phone call to see if he could meet the original price I said I was willing to pay. I walked into the managers area and demanded my ID back. The salesperson had my id in a folder that he was carrying the whole time but he didn't want to give it back to me until I bought something so he could make his commission. I was too angry to conduct business with these people. I will never return to Berts again. I will tell everyone that I know to stay away from Berts. Why would anyone have to ask 4 times for a salesperson to return their Drivers license. Extremely unproffessional.

first impression of berts is, "wow, cool place and convenient too." i admit, there is one good thing about berts. ok, maybe two: the accessories are nice and there's a variety, the salespersons are easygoing, not typical. other than that, once you've signed away on that sales slip, everything immediately goes down hill!!! BEWARE, BUYERS!! don't just skim through the purchase agreement. make absolutely sure that everything, down to the last penny is correct and thorough. that was our mistake. they screwd us on the financing and the extra hidden costs. the watercrafts ended up being more than what it's worth. my co-worker even told me (unfortunately, i am now one of the census)that 8 persons (not including me)had bought either cycles/watercrafts, said they have also been screwd w/ the financing and would never go back to purchase a big item again...no return customers; accessories are no problem, just the big toys!! go to www.atvconnection.com and go to their atv forums, you will find unsatisfied customers as well. if that doesn't work, do a search engine on berts, and find the complaints there...i did. unfortunately, it's too late for me now!

PROS: accessories are great buys; salespersons are not pushy.
CONS: everything else after purchase...you're on your own.

This is a great place to shop. It has everything you need for recreational outdoor recreation, everything from clothing for men and women, motorcycles, trailers, boats etc. They also have a full parts and service department. The salesmen are very helpful and patient with all the customers.

Bert's has a very wide variety of bikes, however, It is the "crank 'em out" system there. They also over charge on their gear, so if you made out on the sale of your bike, you might over pay on helmets and clothes.

PROS: Many motorcycles to choose from
CONS: High prices on used cycles

Bert's has a surprisingly huge lot. It is lots of fun to look around at their selection of new and used equipment. They occassionally have sales, but on those days, but the things on sale are never the newest and shiniest. They are very friendly and not too overeager to jump on you when you stop to look at something.
