One Dot Salon

Seven years ago I spotted some great hair on a cosmetic rep at Sak's and asked her who did her color. She led me to Dorothy and it was the best hair trip I ever took. Her attention to detail is fantastic and she is a master at highlights. My blood pressure drops 20 points just walking into her salon - it is a heavenly atmosphere, all decorated with Dorothy's exquisite taste - try it!!!

Dorothy Shields is the owner of OneDot Salon and is an amazing stylist and a true master of color. She has been in the business for over 30 years and doing my hair for 17 years. I drive from Palm Springs to San Diego just to see Dorothy. Her clientele list is as impressive as her wit, charm and expertise. She beams with energy and is an extraordinary professional. Exceptional service usually found in high-end salons and she has an attention to detail I have never found in another stylist. I walk out of her salon flawless every time, a true world-class experience. My cut even looks great after 5 weeks!

Robert Lawrence has been my hair stylist for over twenty four years and he is incredible. He is current and trendy, professional in every way, and very client orientated. Best of all, he is ALWAYS on time, so you are never waiting for your appointment to begin. I have followed him to several salons over the years, and One Dot is very cute, located in the Hillcrest area, close to restaurants and boutique shopping. Parking on the street with a meter running can be tricky, but there is two hour parking just around the corner. Robert is a five -star artist....you will love him!
