I'm someone who's no stranger to the stress that comes from a fast paced city life. We work, shop, party, entertain and try to keep up with our changing environment. So how are we supposed to relax and wind down?\n\nThat's where Vida Spa comes in. I can honestly say this is the best spa in Seattle as I believe It's the little things that make a spa amazing. \n\nWhen you first walk in, it's like stepping into a different world. It's cool and relaxing, and the staff are helpful and unceasingly friendly. It was my first time there, so I was shown where to change into my cushy robe, offered tea and a trip to the sauna, which was right in the locker room if I wanted. The lounge was warm and relaxing with comfortable chairs and a fireplace that I just wanted to curl up next to and nap. Just a beautiful atmosphere that made me feel extremly comfortable.\n\nWithin minutes I met my therapist, Trevor, and was led to the treatment room. I immediately noticed how gorgeous the beds were; leaves fanned across the soft blankets. There was much attention to detail that made it extremly inviting. And the massage... WOW! I have extremely tense muscles that require a lot of work and before he was even done I could feel the stress leaving my body. His technique offered the perfect amount of pressure and balanced movements so it was effective AND soothing. All my concerns were addressed and he went above and beyond, instructing me on stretches to relieve my specific muscle tension.\n\nI was in a bit of a rush as I was leaving, but still noted all the amenities they offered in the women's room from cold water with lemon slices to hair styling tools and products that I didn't expect.\n\nThe woman at the front desk was extremely nice as I was leaving, giving me Trevor's card, on which he had written a friendly note and product recommendations. They showed me the products but were in no way pushy which I really appreciated. I got to peruse my options freely to make my own decisions.\n\nThis really is one of the best spas in Seattle and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a break from life with people who honestly care about making you feel your best.

Pros: Relaxing environment, amazing staff, incredible massages

Cons: Not enough money to be there every day!

I signed up for the prenatal massage offered by Vida three days before my appointment. When I arrived on a Sunday afternoon, the front desk agent checked me in and gave me a robe and forms to fill out. I then waited for 25 minutes in the relaxation lounge before the same woman came to get me to tell me that they hadn't realized the massage therapist they had booked me for wasn't qualified to do prenatal and that they had been calling around all day to try to find someone to do it. I was very upset that they wasted my time instead of calling me before my appointment to reschedule or at the least, saved me from getting into the robe and waiting almost a half hour past the appointment time to break the news. Then, the manager followed me into the changing area where women were getting into robes to say they'd be happy to offer me a facial at a discount which included hand and feet massage? Hardly professional. Thank goodness, the Four Seasons Seattle was able to get me in at last moment where I've always had a PROFESSIONAL experience. I will not be visiting Vida again and recommend you stay away from the obviously disorganized group.

I just went to Vida yesterday with my mom for a girls spa day and had a great time! The decor is very relaxing and inviting; from just the front desk to the lounge and even the locker room area! (Must try the lotion in the locker room; loved it so much I bought a bottle to take home!). I had a massage and exfoliation by Brianna and it was suuuuuper relaxing. I was a little disappointed that I fell asleep and missed out on a portion! My mom had a facial and looked very refreshed when she came out. I'll definately be bringing some of my girlfriends out to Vida for spa days very soon! I like to try out new spas around the city and I have to say I have a new fav in town; thanks Vida!

Pros: Relaxing luxurious environment; great therapist!

Cons: Pay for parking over 90 mins - or validate at Starbucks!

I had the most amazing facial at Vida Spa with Jenn Kenner. The space and ambiance are amazing. There is no place like it in Seattle!
