At my first Visit Dr. McKenna and he staff took the time to explain everything about their process. I hadnt had a physical in like 3 years do the Dr. arranged for me to have blood work, visit with a nutirionist and he provided me with a one month membership to the forum athletic club.

I lost 27 pounds in 3 months.

Cant say enough good things.

I was referred to Shape by my co-worker who went to SHAPE last year. I was initially apprehensive but it was totally worth while. They think of everything!

I lost 14 in my first month and 42 pounds totally. I am still working with the nutritionist Jessica during my maintenance phase. Dont miss out!

I felt rushed?
I went in hoping to finally lose the weight. But I felt rushed by Dr. Mckenna and staff. I had lots of questions including Mckennas training for weight loss. He seemed evasive when i asked questions except to say he went to Tulane med school. I later told my husband about my experience and he said that he went to Morehouse College with McKenna and that he seemed to be a good student there.

I turned fifty memorial day weekend and I decided to treat myself to a make over. I wasnt interested in surgery - so i sought out the next best thing.

At Shape Wellness I was able to lose weight with the help of a nutritionist and I also got botox, juvederm and a series of chemical peels. I literally look 15 years younger and I am in the best shape of my life. These people are totally caring and true professionals.

I was recommended to SHAPE medical by my co-worker who lost 20 lounds after having her first child in May 2009. She raved about her success and suggested I give it a try. Reluctantly i scheduled an appointed - a free consultation acutally - and decided to take the plunge. I couldnt be happier with the results and I would highly recommend SHAPE to anyone.

I went to shape to lose 14 pounds before my 10h high school reunion. I gained a little weight after my pregnancy and I was determined to get back into my size 6. Ater working with Dr. McKenna and the two dieticians in a month and half the weight left and it has stayed off.

I would recommend them highly.

Have you ever experience a fast talking sales person - well this doctor is the same way. He lacks personality and rushes you through your first initial appointment. So if you have any questions forget it ? he must have spent a maximum of 15 minutes with me. He did not ask me anything about myself or even go through my medical history. In a nut shell, I was disappointed. If you are looking for a nice, compassionate and sincere doctor then this doctor is NOT that. He seems driven by money and not building a solid reputable practice. As far as the dietician ? wow ? what a rude, know it all, disrespectful, spiteful, tactless, insensitive person. I was shocked by her tone and sheer bluntness about how I am an idiot and she is not.

With all of that being said I hope that I get the results I am looking for unfortunately it is too soon to tell. If I get the results and all of this would have been worth it.

I wrote this review to give everyone a glimpse of what kind of people you can expect. They may be good at what they do but they are not welcoming, patient, compassionate or pleasant. The only person who really made me feel comfortable was the front desk person and the office manager.

Went to SHAPE because of a recommendation from my bosses wife. In 5 months i went from 313 pounds to 240. It has truly been life changing.

I feel 2000 times more healthy and my energy level and self esteem are threw the roof. These people are amazing. Thanks SHAPE!

I went to SHAPE on the recommendation of a co-worker. Intially I was a bit skeptical until I visited their offices in buckhead. They are the most caring, detailed oriented, group of people. With the help of the Dr. and the nutritionist I lost 43 pounds in 5 months.

I found out about shape on the internet... Went to there to lose weight. I had just turned 40 and for the first time in my life i was feeling my age! I totally impressed by the commitment to service and the value. For $175 i received, a full history and physical, a 30 day supply of diet meds, a 1 month membership and the forum athletic club and a b-12 shot. My wife also got a free mini facial.

I lost 34 lounds in 3 months and i have never felt better.

I went to shape to lose weight and I was surprised to find out that I could get botox and juvederm as well. Not only did i lose 27 pounds but i look 10 years younger. I look and feel better than ever!

My sister and i went to shape for help losing weight. I recently turned 40 and I have had difficulty losing weight like I did in my 20's and 30's. Dr. McKenna and his staff not only worked with me, they gave me a free one month membership to the forum athletic club to help ensure that i got the appropriate amount of exercise. Unless you want to keep people who clearly don't care much for their patients around, avoid this place. I heard about it in a salon and thought I would give it a try. I was hoping for an expert to help me with my weight-loss. I signed up for hgh and was looking to get meals delivered and help with my diet and nutrition. I was looking forward to this, especially the hormone then I was told I couldn't get it. I was charged an exorbitant fee for the test which I took elsewhere. I had a hard time getting return phone calls and the doctor when I spoke to him was short with me and rude! Beware!

If you have over considered well over your BMI, go to Shape and younwill lose weight. But they have no information or suggestions for those tryin to lose the 15 pounds you gained during the holidays. Save your money and join a kickboxing class. An NO REFUNDS if you are unhappy with your service, even if they promise it to you!!

I started with SHAPE last month.. I wanted to get a start on weight loss during the holidays. The doctor and staff were so amazing and informative - Even allowing me to meet with a state licensed dietician - It was so so simple. I have lost 16 lbs in my first month and I have never felt better. I would recommend SHAPE to anyone who is serious about losing weight.

This place is nothing but pill-pushers. They 'recommend' eating sensibly and exercising, but really offer nothing other than a place to pick up prescription meds for losing weight. Look at the other reviews - isn't it odd that all these glowing reviews happen on the same day in a series? Do yourself a favor and run from this place.

I always had a problem with my weight, I never been that thin girl, everyone in my family has always been overweight. I was sick of feeling uncomfortble not being able to wear certain types of clothing, shopping for someone my size was horrible. I just got sick and tired of complaining and not doing anything about it, I did some research on the internet and saw the good reviews Shape Medical Weight Loss Center had, and decided to go in. The doctor was top of the line, The Nutritionist put me on the right meal plan that worked for me. The staff was friendly and nice, I lost 15 pounds in 2 months and still going strong, Thanks Shape.

My main problem with my weight was always the type of food I ate. I worked out constantly but never saw results because I just could not stop eating out. When I first came into Shape, they told me everything that I was doing wrong, the actual Meal Plan they gave me was something I could enjoy, I stopped with my bad habits and got on a good track to success, I'm healthy , happy, and look great. I Been unhappy with my weight for the past 3 years. My unhealthy eating habits have affected my personal life, and has caused alot of issues to my health as well. A good friend of mine Judy Palmer told me she was going to Shape, and she looked amazing, and was so happy, she told me once you start looking great, you start feeling great on the inside also. I decided to give it a shot and was so impressed with there knowledge, they knew exactly what I needed to do and put me on a great Meal plan, that was consistent. After having 3 kids, I just lost my confidence, I never had time for myself anymore. I told myself I want to be happpy with me again, So I decided to take control and visit Shape Medical Wellness Center, The staff made me feel comfortable and where extremely friendly, they new exactly what needed to be done, they took care of me and even followed up and called me frequently to see how I was doing. I'm so happy I took charge of my life and went to them, I feel great, and look healthy, I lost 20 pounds within the first 2 months. I was going threw alot of stress in my life, witch caused me to stop working out, and eating alot. I just didnt have the strength to do anything anymore, I finally dragged myself out to Shape Medical Weight Loss Center and decided it's time to get my life back to speed. I went to shape looking to loose weight. Since I TURNED 40 the pounds just dont come off like they used to.... They people at shape put me on a complete weight loss program incorporating medical weight loss, pre-made meals (IM A BACHELOR AND I DONT COOK!) AND ALL AT A GOOD PRICE.

I visited the doctors at shape after the birth of my second child... i had gestational diabetes during the pregnancy and my weight had balloned up to 205 pounds. After the birth of my child... i visited the team at Shape and they not only perscibed me meds, they set up a package that included prepackaged meals and nutritional counseling.

I have dealt with weight loss issues my whole life... and I have been to medical weight loss clinics before SHAPE but they are the total package. They offered my wife and I - nutritional counseling, medical weight loss - Adipex and pre packaged meals!

This experience, for once, was exactly as advertised! The doctors and staff and Shape Wellness and are total professionals. They were courteous, friendly! SHAPE under-promised and over delivered. My wife and I both lost in excess of 30lbs. I have more energy than ever and I feel great. I highly recommend their services!!!!!!!!
