We decided to put our little into a school program at 16 months because we felt that she would enjoy the interactions with other children her age especially after just being at home with mommy and other nannies/babysitters.

We visited several day cares and schools in the Vienna and Reston areas. Most of the day cares and schools we visited, our little girl cried during the entire visit and during the visits the teachers/assistants were not attentive to our little girl.

I cannot say enough good things about Fiore Montessori. The school is bright, clean and spacious. The school yard is amazing with various activities to keep the children busy.

The teachers are cognizant of our child's developmental stages and attentive with her needs. They are also wonderful at listening to our needs and concerns as a parents.

We have really noticed a strong bond with our little one and the other children and staff at Fiore Montessori school. She is always looking forward to the next day. This place truly gives us a peace of mind knowing that our little girl is just happy there (she goes full-time Monday-Friday)!

I ran into this school when I decided to change my son from a different Pre school. My 3 year old son was not happy at all in his previous school and he would cry everyday. I was so surprised that he would not behave in school because he is the kind of kid that behaves in all situations and with all types of people. I knew something was wrong and decided to go look for alternatives. This is when I ran into Fiore Montessori.
This schools and Program is great!!!! My son loves going to his "new" school as he calls it. They let him explore and make his own choices and guide him through each excersise which enhance his learning. In only 1 month he has grown so much. They have helped him with his communication and social skills. I love their school set up as well. The fact that I don't see playing toys laying around but Learning excersise makes me happy because that's the type of thing my son loves to do. Also, they have a large outdoor area that the children, with supervision, are allowed to go to if they want. Everything they do and their approach is based on a learning opportunity for the child. My family have noticed the change in him as well and we are extremely happy!!
