I continue to be very pleased with the service at Honda of El Cerrito. I have taken my car there several times for scheduled check-ups and will continue to do so. Today I had an appointment, my car was taken promptly, and I received a call that it was ready before the time they had told me. The work is always done well, the service personnel are helpful and friendly, and I have never ever had a problem. And they wash my car, which I certainly appreciate.

We have two cars and we drive 35 minutes to take them both to the service department at El Cerrito Honda. We have a service department in the city we live in, but the Service department at El Cerrito Honda is exceptional. The staff there are very helpful and friendly. I can't really say enough about the Service staff. The service team always remembers us when we come in. I have had some major services needed and they have always worked to give me the best deal. I like that they have an express service, which doesn't require an appointment. We will not take our cars anywhere else.

Hi this is Aaron Chen .i want to Honda of el cerrito for srs light and i got w/ the service writer name Nelson he was open the paper work bring my car in Honda civic 2001 .so I leave my cars and he call me back a few hours and told me it was seat belt switch and had the warranty and he order the part and call back when he got the part .I brought back my car and they are very good took care of my car and no charge.so I am so thank to the Honda of el cerrito teams.thank again ......I am recommend to my family and friend.

As I was on the freeway I noticed a big blue Honda of El Cerrito sign and figured i'd try it out. It was hands down the best service I have ever received, Mel Santiago was my "service provider" and he answered every question and concern I had. He was also very patient with me since I did have lots of questions, no one has ever taken the time to explain what my car needed. I have a big service due in October (changing my timing belt) and I feel 100% confident in taking it in with Mel and the rest of the El Cerrito crew. Thank you so much!

Darryl Lavender helped me when I brought my car in for a recall notice. The service center investigated the part number of the airbag an concluded I wasn't affected by the problem. I have visited this service center to have my car checked about transmission problem. Couple of days before, I started feeling that gear does not change smooth and I heard some noise that I am not used to. Michelle Fisher took a good care of my car. After changing transmission oil, gear shifting has become a lot smoother and I hear less noise now. I will visit this place when I have any problem in my car in the future.

I give Honda of El Cerrito a 10 out of 10 for every service I brought my car in for. I will refer them to my family and friends any time. I brought my insight in for service due to the IMS light before this last service and RON MAIO took great care of me in replacing the battery with no issues. The last visit RON MAIO took care of me again with the transmission problem. He was very professional and knew what needed to be done. I love my Insight and it has 142,000 miles on it. With the two replacement I hope to have another 140,000 mile with my Insight. This car lasted forever and it was time for the huge replacements but the great service especially dealing with RON MAIO made it easy to bear for the huge replacements. Great job RON and Honda of El Cerrito.

I had such a wonderful experience at Honda of El Cerrito. To begin with, Shana, one of people who answers the phone in the service department, was very helpful and friendly, and made setting up an appointment really easy.

I brought my car in for an oil change, and because of a recall notice. I had also slightly exceeded 30,000 and my car was due for its first service. However at this time I'm not able to shell out $350+ for the full service. Michelle Fisher, who assisted me with my car today, was so understanding and explained to me what the service entailed and how we could spread alignments, inspections, etc. out so that I could afford them. She explained to me the importance of keeping on top of tires and brakes. I did get one of my tires replaced as she observed that it needed to be done. She was also so kind as to include a free brake inspection!

I already knew my car would be at Honda for a good bit of the day because of the recall inspection, the other work and the fact that they were so busy today. Honda of El Cerrito had a shuttles, driven by Lloyd and Bill, who were both very pleasant, take me to and from my home.

When I picked up my car I noticed that it was washed and the front seats vacuumed (thanks guys!). Michelle kindly reminded me to come back for an alignment in a few months, and that if I had any questions or concerns about my car, to let her know and she would check things out.

I have also had positive experiences with my past oil changes and when one of my car tires caught a nail. Adrian Rivera was very helpful with these.

I was treated very well today. If you're looking for service that is dependable, efficient and personable, look no further than Honda of El Cerrito. Thank you all!

I had my appointment at 09:45am on 11-28-11. I had got off from work at 08:00am. Of course I got there about an hour early and they did take me right away. All I needed was some new front brake pads and wipers. The estimated time of completion was about 03:00pm in the afternoon. I don't live in the area so there's no way that I was willing to wait that long. I explained to my technician my situation and he said that he'd try to get it done by around 10:30ish. About two hours later, I get a call saying that my car was ready for pick up. Thank you so much for addressing my situation in such a timely manner.

I called to check if they had the car I wanted in stock. They didn't, but told me they could most likely get one within 24 hours, and would call the next day by noon to confirm. They did. (There were only 2 available in the color I wanted in a 200 mile radius, and they sent a driver to trade one of the colors they had with a dealership that had one of the two cars in the color I wanted.) Their customer service up to this point already blew me away. (Take into consideration that due to the earthquake in Japan and flooding in Thailand, Honda has a hard time delivering new vehicles to meet the high demand.)
Then we drove to the dealership for our appointment. From the time we got there to the time we left, took exactly two hours, including test drive, financing, thourough explanation of the features of the new car, and removing/retaining/registering our special interest plates. - Oh, and no haggle over the selling price, nor high pressured sales pitches about accessories, extra warranties, etc.!
Both the sales and financing persons were not only friendly, but bent over backwards answering all the questions we had, insuring we left completely satisfied. We did! I would buy another car from them in a heartbeat, and will certainly recommend them to others.

Very nice and quick service they have. I had three oil change services there since I got my Civic from them. Each time they made me satisfy. I have nothing to say but recommend others to go to their express service. They also give good suggestions when they checked your car, and let you decied if you want it or not.

I've taken my 8-year-old Civic in here several times for routine maintenance and an electrical system problem. Everyone in the service department is very helpful and friendly, and they're very good about calling to let you know their progress and estimated time of completion. My only minor annoyance was this past Friday, when I called ahead to make an appointment for an oil change. The woman I spoke with said I also had the option of just taking it in without an appointment, but I wanted to give myself a deadline, and I didn't want to have to wait around all day for it to be done, as can be the case with the first-come, first-serve "Express Lane" service. So I made an appointment for 1:00pm, got there, and was told by the guy in the service bay (Adrian) that they don't take appointments for oil changes. It wasn't the end of the world- I had some errands to run in the meantime that I could walk to, and it only took about an hour and a half, but I wish that it would have been made clear from the beginning that not only was an appointment not necessary, it wasn't even valid. I'll still be going back, I just won't bother to call ahead next time all I need is an oil change.

I've been going to this place for maintenance services for years since 2002 when I bought my CRV there. Never a problem with the service. It's also close to BART so I can drop the car in the morning and pick it up after work. The people are always courteous and friendly. There are free coffee and tea while you wait (or take it with you to BART) and even courtesy computer for you to use. Granted it is a bit expensive, but there are always coupons and discounts to bring the cost down. And it is worth it for your peace of mind.

Same day service!

Our Honda Fit was due for the A12 service. I called at 8am and got an appointment for 10am, on the same day!

Easy scheduling is our #1 concern with two kids and two working parents :-)

I love the confidence of knowing that our service is completed at the dealership... no worries about defective parts, warranties, etc.

Our Honda Fit was due for the A12 service. I called at 8am and got an appointment for 10am, on the same day!

Easy scheduling is our #1 concern with two kids and two working parents :-)

I love the confidence of knowing that our service is completed at the dealership... no worries about defective parts, warranties, etc.

I came in for a routine oil change this morning. In the course of his work the mechanic discovered that I had a nail in my tire. As usual the folks at El Cerrito Honda were friendly, courteous, efficient and meticulous in their work. I enjoy doing business with these people.
