Too expensive, freezing cold in there, chef dropped cooking utensils and eggs too.
Definetly do not expect a high level of entertainment or food quality! Our chef was obviously new or had not practiced enough! He was not full of energy and dazzle like i have seen at other restaraunts like this. He even forgot my husband's shrimp that was part of his shrimp and steak meal!!Definetly not reccomend this place!!

Last night our 'chef' was new. He did not do one thing to entertain us, burnt the rice and veggies, and made our medium rare steaks, well done. It was my daughter's 13th b-day and we told him this. She picked where she wanted to go and chose the Puyallup Iron Chef. They did not even bring out the traditional sparkle/candle with the dessert although we saw other tables getting the full experience one expects from this establishment. For two kids and two adults the bill was $150. When we complained about the lack of any kind of 'show' they are famous for and not acknowledging our daughter's special b-day, the woman working, who claimed she was the owner, said her chefs have the 'option' to perform or not. When I asked her if they have the option to also burn our food and overcook our steaks she said she would take a small amount off our bill. When we got the bill it was all full price. We are large tippers (never, ever under 20%), but we decided the savings for horrible food and no service what-so-ever would be in the tip and left nothing. That was a first for me. I want to add I own a large company that does customer service audits and boy, how I wish my staff was doing one tonight. What was worse is the ??owner?? could have cared less and resolved the solution with money in her eyes and did nothing, absolutely nothing, to let us know we were valued customers. The couple sitting next to us had the same comments we did and left very unhappy. Grade (F-) and loss of our patronage. Suggestion: Save your hard earned money and find another place to eat out.

This my new favorite Japanese Steak House. The food is FABULOUS! Our chef was humorous, friendly, and efficient. I would have given a five star review, but I did not really like the decor. It looked cheaply put together, was very loud and service was slow. I will definitively go back for the food!
