RUN FOR YOUR LIFE! They lied to me at every turn, including telling me that everyone involved was an employee and not a sub-contractor. I now have sub-contractors putting mechanic liens on my house. The job took many times longer than stated as the contractors would often show up half way through the day or not at all. The office staff is extremely unfriendly and would NEVER return a phone call. The work perfomed was below average and I'm sure the majority of their work force is obtained from the home depot parking lot. Please take my advice and hire someone else.

FabShow is the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of working with. The workmanship is shotty at best. They never show up on time (if they show up at all). A job that was supposed to take a month at most has taken them three months and it's still not complete. One bathroom shower had to be torn up after they screwed it up so bad. They arrive late, work maybe three hours, and leave for the day. Meanwhile, you're left with a mess and an unuseable bathroom. You can't get anyone to return calls to find out what's going on and when somebody will show up so your left waiting. If you need to have work done DO NOT and I repeat DO NOT use this company!!!!! You will be sorry. They do more damage to you home than it's worth and you have to have it repaired at your expensel. We had two huge piles of trash in our master dressing area for two weeks and they left trash in the driveway for two weeks which made it impossible to use the driveway. Inside the garage they left tools, buckets, cement & tiles ever since they started the job. Also, they arrive with the wrong order. What a mess!!!

Wow.... everything I am reading is happening to me now, poor coordination, sloppy work, damage, being late, rudness, no return phone calls, etc. I am very good at commending sales and service people when they perform and will credit increased business and even a couple of promotions to my credit. I told Nadine, Sheree and Faith, if Fabshow gets their act togther I would be happy to share that with the readers of these reviews.

I hired the MV office to install tile, wood, base boards and carpet in my house. The job started I believe on Tuesday November 30th.

The tile was installed 1st and everything looked good. The installers were prompt, organized, very careful with our furniture and cleaned up everything when they were done.

The wood and base boards were 2nd. The installers damaged one of the tiles and did a poor job installing the base boards in every room upstairs. Many of the corners were not flush and many of the base boards were not adhered properly to the wall. They clearly rushed through the upstairs as the downstairs looked good. Additionally, this crew damaged two pieces of furniture and they carelessly stacked the furniture one on top of the other without putting any protection between pieces which produced scratches on some of the furniture and they left garbage in my front yard.

The carpet was 3rd and the installers damaged some of the base boards. They too left garbage in my front yard.

I spoke to Sheree (I do not know how to spell her name) on Tuesday the 7th when the carpet was completed and communicated that both the tile and base boards needed repairs and we needed base boards to replace the ones that were removed.

She scheduled installers for Saturday AM on the 11th. No wood installer showed up at all that day, only an inspector who looked at the areas of concern and agreed to fix / replace what was already agreed upon 5 days ago. He said the baseboards needed to be ordered and the installers would come to my house the following Friday to do the work. I expressed my concern as I was told by Sheree that installers would be here today and waiting another week was a huge inconvenience since we had several boxes of our belongings all over the house so we could accommodate the installers. We have been unable to prepare for Holiday decorations due to your company??s poor workmanship that had to be serviced. To my dissatisfaction, next week was the best he could do.

The tile installers didn??t arrive until about 3:00 PM that day and they brought the wrong tile so they were unable to replace the damaged tile. They said they would return Friday the 17th.

I had been waiting all day for repairs and none occurred.

I spoke to Sheree again on Tuesday the 14th to confirm the schedule and she said both installers would arrive on Friday. I explained to her that our electricity would be turned off until 12:00 PM so if they needed electricity, they must come after 12:00 PM.

The tile installers did arrive in the PM and successfully replaced the damaged tile. At 11:30 AM, I called Sheree to ask when the wood installers would arrive and she said she would find out and call me back. I did not get a return call so 1 hour later, I called again but she was not in the office and the woman I spoke to could not help me but said Sheree will be back in 10 minutes and will call me back. Sheree did not call me back. It wasn??t until later that PM, about the time the tile installers arrived that I spoke to Faith in the SC office and she explained that the wood installers quit on Thursday. Clearly, I was not happy to learn this a day later particularly since I had been asking for an update from the scheduler. Logically, one would assume that the scheduler would know if the installers were still employed or not. Faith called me back later on and told me different wood installers would come today between 1:00 and 2:00 PM. At 2:00 PM, they still had not arrived so I called Faith to ask for an update. She assured me that they ??were on their way?.

They arrived after 5:00 PM on a Saturday.

I would also like to mention that during all this completely poor customer service, Monica, our salesperson, never called once to offer help or ask how things were going. My wife called her yesterday to provide an update and in addition to being very argumentative, a behavior she almost always displayed to me as well, she hung up on my wife.

After several weeks of excuses and missed appointments, an installer came over to fix the poor workmanship on the baseboards. The job still doesn't look very good but as many other reviewers noted, we were tired of dealing with them and accepted the results.

Subsequently, I spoke to Faith about compensation for having to take time from work and installers showing up late or not at all. She agreed to refund $150, clearly a sum token for a $14K job and lost wages on our end. After two weeks by and not receiving a check from them, I follow up with Faith. Unbeknownst to me, they increased the amount of one the invoices by, coincidently, $150 so they are not going to refund the money afterall.

I asked on more than one occasion to speak to the owner Jim Rad but he never called me. It was recommended to me to send him an email, most of which this review consists of. As expected, the coward never replied to my email.

Do yourself a favor, stay away from this company!

I went through another showroom but they're all the same, run by the same guys. All work is subconcontracted out, and on bigger jobs don't be surprised when the subcontractors subcontract their work until you get a 3 ring circus with no coordination, poor quality and no accountability. Some of the laborers they brought to the job had no idea what they were doing and when left unsupervised screwed up everything they touched. They had to have been picked up off the street outside Home Depot and payed $5 an hour. Just atrocious. My advice is to stay far, far away from this company if you expect to do anything major. And if you do sign a contract, expect it to take at least four times longer to complete than they say it does and expect to have to hire someone else to fix it when they're done.

The sales person is very rude. My mother purchased carpet & was told it would be installed on Saturday. They called late on Saturday & said the carpet is not here but could guarantee it would be there Monday for installation. I called the sales person & informed that due to my mother's age I would have to be there when they did the installation & I have to drive over an hour back there just for this. They need to make some kind of adjustment for all the inconvience. He started yelling at me & then hung up.

The sales person is very rude. My mother purchased carpet & was told it would be installed on Saturday. They called late on Saturday & said the carpet is not here but could guarantee it would be there Monday for installation. I called the sales person & informed that due to my mother's age I would have to be there when they did the installation & I have to drive over an hour back there just for this. I have the worst experience with FabShow. From sales person to the manager all were full of lies, fraud and threats. I was quoted $2600 initially, but I was charged more than $4800. Here??s what happened. I called one of their experts from their store Huntington Beach store who came to check my floor. He pulled a little part of my carpet to see what is underneath it and told me that maximum I will be paying is $2600 for everything that includes even tax. He wrote down all measurements and whatever he thought I needed. After giving me an estimate, a time for ripping the carpet and tiles installation was scheduled. The day material was sent to my house I was told that I had to pay $1800 more which I did not pay. It was a lie and when I called their office and inquired about it, they told me that they sent me the material according to whatever the information I gave them about my floor. I told them that I did not give any information to them at all and I am not a tile or flooring expert. Their expert came himself and checked my floor and recommended all the materials and everything. They told me that if I would refuse the installation at this time, they would take the material back but they would charge me extra for their time to come over, plus gas, plus whole day of the installers?? salary, and the carpet ripping fee will be higher because it was the part of the whole deal. I had no choice, because first of all they had ripped my carpet one day prior to that and unfortunately I was going to have a family reunion in couple of days. They took advantage of that and put extra financial burden on my shoulders. They are liars and scammers. They tell something different than what they do. Beware of them. Whatever happened with me, I would never recommend FabShow to anyone.

almost same story like the other reviewer, first off, two weeks dealy on delivery, then I recived the wrong cabinet. another two weeks to order the correct cabinet. installation was the same , the cabinet by the range was installed wrong so that the range would not fit in.I had to reinstall it it myself, good that I'm handy and have tools. the counter top installation was with less problem and good part. and lastly , a side panel of the cabinet fell off and i'm calling them for the last 3 weeks to fix it, nobody has shown up. i think I have to do it myself.
any way, expect the same if you want to deal with them.

When we went to this store, the salesman didn't acknowledge us when we came in and we had to show ourselves around. He became interested only after we started comparing items and the kind of knew what the difference was in the products. There wasn't much off a selection either.
