I love the decor here! They have great shows and the history of the building/venue makes the experience that much more exciting!

Great concept, but the experience didn't live up to the hype.

We rolled in around 9:30-10ish and was told to wait, but the manager let us in. Cool. He scored big points with us, because we would've turned around and gone somewhere else. The place isn't nearby anything, so we couldn't hang out.

The decor is awesome. The girls are gorgeous. The bar is the oldest in LA and was once a whorehouse. The combination sounds like a winner. Unfortunately, it doesn't deliver.

Firstly, it's a Latino crowd, which is okay because Latinos can party. But no one was partying that night. It felt like a jr. high school dance. Uber lame. The girls sat with the girls and the guys stood around. My companion and I were making fun of the crowd's awkwardness all night. The best line was, "Why did they pay a cover? They should've gone to Chili's." It was so true, it didn't feel like a bar, much less a club.

The drinks are like my men: big and strong. ;) Bit pricy, but worth it. Music was good, nice dance floor.

I may try the place again, maybe the place is trying to find itself and the regulars aren't comfortable yet. Whatever it is, I wish it success because I love the creativity and decor of the place.

This used to be Little Pedro's a really different kind of place. The look and feel is red and black, bordello, speakeasy. The crowd is ecclectic and fashionable, but not snooty. The drinks are good and the live music is really great. A great place to see live music, it's a very intimate space. This is one of the really good remodels of the downtown drinking establishments.
