Pet Ritz Dallas

We have an elderly English Bulldog with multiple health issues and a 4 year old Doberman that were never boarded before this year. We chose Pet Ritz/Pet Resort because they mentioned on their website they were experienced with geriatric pets. Our dogs have been boarded in various temperatures (including extreme heat this past summer), and they were overwhelmingly careful with our dogs, especially our Bulldog. I have a laundry list of requirements when they board and the staff caters to our dogs and my demands for their care. I will continue to board our dogs at this spot.

We have boarded our dog three times with Pet Ritz. On her first visit, a puppy got too playful and scratched our dog's eye. She was immediately taken to a vet who treated the scratch. It was so minor, had it happened at home, I would not have taken our dog to the vet! But Pet Ritz cared enough to make sure she was fine. (She was.) On our second and third visits, Pet Ritz made sure our doggie played with the older dogs. They have taken loving care of our dog, and we will only board her at Pet Ritz from now on. I'm sorry someone had an issue with the owner being "cold". We absolutely did not have ANY issue with this on any of our visits, with any of our phone calls or with any of our emails of inquiry...ever. Jim is extremely dedicated to dogs...regardless of if they are his dogs or someone else's.

We just returned from a six day vacation. First time we have ever boarded our "boys" . I was very nervous leaving them behind. I couldn't be more pleased with Pet Ritz!! Such a comfort to watch them at play on the WebCam and when we picked them up I could tell they had been well cared for!! Thank you Pet Ritz~~our boys will be back the next time we have to leave town.

This owner is cold and distant. We used their services several times without issue because it's a nice facility with a very convenient location. However, the way we were spoken to and the absence of communication regarding changes in their operations means we will never go back there again. Jim and his sister seem to not care about making the customer happy. In the article about the dog that died in his care he said, "I realize that pets are part of the family." But I don't believe that for a second based on how he dealt with us. If they don't care about the customer experience, then I don't care to support their business. We will use a competitor.

Lisa M is a sad woman. Pet Ritz is first class, always has been always will be. Simply check with the local vets for proof of the Resort's standards.

My 10 yo schnauzer will never be boarded anywhere else in Dallas...this place is amazing...don't know what happened to the one questionable review..but, i and my schnauzer love the place..

I have been taking my pup here since the Fall, and I conducted extensive research on all sorts of different places. This was the only one I felt confident leaving her at. It's wonderfully clean, the owners LOVE dogs, and I can watch her play while at work. I will never take my surrogate child with four legs anywhere else.

I never board my dogs (Lab and Golden Ret) and did alot of research on where to keep them. I was like others, a little skeptical after the reviews. I left them for 3 days over Thanksgiving and I've never seen them happier! When we picked them up and they were well feed (our lab gets scared and nervous very easily), happy and seemed to love the place. The owners are so sweet, they truly care about your dog. they even got ice cream cones after their second outside playtime.
When I need to board them again I will defintely take my dogs to Pet Ritz Dallas.

I leave my dog for day care 2-3 days per week at Pet Ritz. My dog literally pulls me through the door to get in there to play. The staff loves dogs and it shows! I would highly recommend this place to anyone. And it is the cleanest place around - my dog never smells after going there.

There is no hype to hear. Don't waste your time or money at this facility. Had a horrible day care experience and won't be back.
May look good on the outside but that's it!

Not only is this the nicest boarding kennel that I have found in Dallas, by far, its staff is amazing. They are the most knowledgable group people with real world tips, hints and advice on how to care for and happily live with our pets that I have found.

I am a regular customer and I would recommend Pet Ritz Dallas to anyone.

A really close friend so highly recommended Pet Ritz Dallas that I just had to stop by and take a look. You absolutely will not believe this place! I want to stay.

This is the most beautiful and immaculately clean facility for pets I have ever seen. My Lucy is now a regular customer, and she really love the afternoon ice cream cones.
