I hired SGM Photography, thru recommendation, to photo shoot projects our company has completed. We are union Glazing Specialits installing high end architectural glass products in the most desirable real estate properties in the New York area. After initally speaking with Scott, I thought he could achieve the look we desired. Although I never imagined how amazing Scott and his photographs could capture the look I was tring to achieve. The pictures of our products and installations are gorgeous but are heightened thru Scott's creative flair to details. He is a pleasure to work with and is very accomodating on all levels. A true professional delivering perfection to his clients.

I own a company based out of Chicago. Three years ago we were in search of a reliable event photographer in NY. We heard about SGM photography through word of mouth. We now call upon Scott Morris once every year to photograph our annual holiday award ceremony in New York. Every year the results keep getting better! He has a way with people, and always gets them to smile for the camera. Scott also has a remarkable way of capturing people socializing at just the right moments for the perfect candid shot. We hired SGM to photograph a few construction projects we recently completed in New York City. We are extremely happy with the results SGM has produced, and we will be using Scott to photograph all of our construction projects in NY going forward.

As an example of his professionalism one our client's was so impressed with the way Scott handled our pictures, they hired him directly to photograph their ribbon cutting ceremony.

As an established woodworking company it was imperative to have accurate and detailed photographs of our completed projects to show the nature of our work and what we do. Following several interviews in our search for a qualified and affordable Interior photographer in the New York area, we finally encountered SGM Photography. We are pleased to say that we have been working with Scott at SGM Photography since July 2007 and continue to work with him on an ongoing basis.

Scott has photographed many of our interior projects located in New York City as well as Connecticut, and New Jersey. Many photo shoots require direct contact with our clients, they were very pleased with his professionalism. The outcome of each photograph was higher than our expectation every time. As a bonus, Scott has an eagle eye for what magazine editors look for in certain image compositions, and as a result our work has been published in several magazines. Scott goes out of his way to make sure we are pleased with the results of each photo shoot.

Scott recently did a shoot for a client of mine in New York who is selling beautiful handcrafted jewelry from India. His photos are OUTRAGEOUSLY GORGEOUS. Each piece is a miniature masterpiece and Scott?s exceptional skill with product photography revealed the character and craftsmanship of each item of jewelry in ways not obvious to the ordinary eye. He was fun and easy to work with ? enthusiastic, professional and accommodating. He made himself available to meet our schedule, worked hard to make each shot perfect, collaborated to provide exactly what my client wanted and brought his highly artistic sensibility to each and every photo. Scott recently took some photos for me and my now husband to celebrate our engagement in New York. They came out stunning! I am very un-photogenic but with his photos I looked amazing! I am a residential interior designer in Dallas, Texas. I recently worked on a project in Manhattan by Lincoln Center and needed it photographed. After reading all of the great reviews of Scott's work on this site and talking to him, I chose him to photograph the project. I am so happy about that decision! Scott has a great eye for seeing the picture potential in any given space and capturing that picture in just the right way. His knowledge of how external factors such as temperature and humidity effect the sky's colors and react with the interior photography, was amazing! Scott has photographed our tanning salon in the city a few weeks ago. He did an amazing job. He is an amazing photographer. He captured the whole salon, the furniture, the products and the beds so beautifully and in a very detailed manner. He was very professional, friendly and very affordable. He has photographed our other salon in Queens as well. He photographed everything several times using different lighting in order to get the pictures right. It was a pleasure working with Scott that day. I recommend him very highly!!! Cannot wait to do more projects with him....

After reading his praises here on City Search, we hired Scott to photograph a housing facility we just completed. Scott was fantastic. He beautifully captured the interiors and architecture of our building (a brownstone in Harlem) in a way that reflects our core philosophy - that these apartments are more than just a place to live; they are homes for our clients to rebuild their lives. Scott has photographed a number of items for the furniture dealer where I work in New York City. As his other clients have mentioned, he is a very talented photographer, and his images for us have all turned out great!

Scott's prices have been reasonable, and his commitment to the quality of his work is what we value most. He has done an excellent job of matching the style of the company's previous photography, which is very important for us in order to maintain a consistent look to our collection of images. Scott spent a day with us, shooting each item several times under different lighting conditions, showing us the results as he went, and listening very carefully to our feedback. We especially appreciated how he spent extra time after the shoot to make sure the colors would print out accurately, and even got in touch with our printer directly so that we didn't have to be the "middleman" with everything.

Scott was a pleasure to work with, and we are looking forward to having him photograph for us again soon!

We have had our restaurant, Mulino's, located in Westchester, NY for 15 years. When it comes to photography, either we had bad luck or it is really tough to find a good one. They all took pictures...but then again so can anyone. We have spent endless amounts of money on interior design to build what is a comfortable and elegant dining room. The photos taken were never able to show that experience. We were constantly searching for a great photographer. FINALLY, I was referred to Scott who was able to capture the beauty and elegance of our hard work. He knew exactly what we wanted and set out to achieve it no matter what. He certainly takes his work seriously and I would recommend him to anyone.

Scott Morris of SGM Photography is exceptionally talented and a perfectionist when it comes to his work. His enthusiasm and spirit towards your individual project only adds to the qualities of his performance.
As an exterior building restoration company we work on many buildings in need of a face lift. My staff and I work with Engineers and Architects on high profile buildings in New York City restoring their original architecture. That?s where Scott comes in and does his magic. As an Interior Designer in New York City I needed a fabulous portfolio of my work to compete in the marketplace and Scott delivered! His attention to detail, and knowledge of what publications would want to see is first rate. He was on time, curteous, careful with the furnishings, and the photographs of the interiors were fantastic. I contacted Scott Morris to photograph several residential interiors for my interior design portfolio and website. His work far exceeded my highest expectations. Working with him is a creative process that results in a photograph that captures the right mood and feel of an interior space. He has an excellent sense for lighting and framing a shot that results in a picture that looks like it fell out of the pages of Architectural Digest. His post-production skills are just as impressive as his photography. He is a magician with Photoshop, but I found that there was very little that needed editing from his photos. His service is superior, professional and quick. SGM Photography is a great company with a great service. I was skeptical when I hired them but i was proven wrong. As a professional arrived with all the right camera and photography equipment, took photos of my products for my website and the next day I received an email with a folder and all the digital images ready to be uploaded. scott has a can do attitude which is quite helpful in arch photography as logistics and people can be deadly obstacles. his experience in other genres are also beneficial to the arch shot in terms of styling etc. he is enthusiastic about new technological developments and is resourceful in the photographic prepartion and digital touch up. easy to work with and priced competitively scott is my vote for best photographer

I've had the wonderful fortune of using SGM's services myself, and subsequently referring the company to other business associates. SGM never fails to surpass my expectations, and does so at very fair and reasonable rates. In fact, I've used SGM for both business and personal photography needs, and have found the results outstanding on both fronts. I've used a lot of photographers for my business, but now SGM is my sole provider. I highly recommend SGM.
