I learned how to use chopsticks at the original Chan, and was terribly disappointed to hear from my parents (shortly after the reopening) that the new Chan was "not the same." We gave it one more try recently and were thrilled to see that food was back up to the quality of the old Chan!! Since opening, they have added a Mongolian BBQ. I do wish that they would expand the menu to include some of the old faves (West Lake DUCK!!), but that is the only negative.... So glad that it's back to it's former glory. Still miss the lions out front, though.

When I heard that HoC had reopened, I was glad, but not sure if it would be as good as it always had. I was very disappointed to find that they don't have the Mongolian Barbecue like they did at the original location, but the other food is still very good.

I've only eaten take-out since the reopening, and can't speak to the table service, but this is clearly still the best Chinese food in town. The prices are good, the portions are enough for two, and they deliver orders over $25. I'll be very interested to see if the "dine in" experience meets my expectations.
