Good but not Great

Hate to not be on the bandwagon but if you want an honest perspective, my girlfriend trained at stayoung and found them to be just average. The nutrional plan was off, they gave her ridiculously restricted calories. She was tired all the time and they didnt want to adjust her numbers. The level of knowledge of the trainers didn't seem to be as high as they claim. I'm always weary of websites like this are always positive, positive, positive. I felt inclined to share our perspective. There are far more experinced and knowledgable trainers out there.

Pros: Clean, Friendly atmosphere

Cons: Pricey, results not as expected

I LOVE this place!!!!!

Most of these reviews mention how great the atmosphere is. I hate to sound like a broken record, but it?s true! Everyone is friendly and encouraging, including other clients. Although there is definitely a fun and comfortable vibe, it?s also obvious that the trainers know what they're doing and take your fitness and well being very seriously. The workouts that I get here far exceed what I had expected when first looking for a new trainer. I've worked out with personal trainers before, but have never been pushed as hard as these guys push me. I leave every session with a feeling of great accomplishment and looking forward to the next session. I just finished my third week and already I?m losing pounds and gaining muscle definition and strength. I feel very lucky to have come across Stayoung Fitness and the positive affect that it is having on my life!

GREAT ENVIRONMENT-GREAT EQUIPMENT-GREAT INSTRUCTION-GREAT RESULTS

I am a 47 yr old "big" guy who needed to lose weight and get into shape. I have been working with Randy Young for the past month. Because it has been many years since I have "worked out" I found comfort knowing that Randy's experience was guiding me through this fitness process. The gym is a great environment to work out in. Everyone at Stayoung treats you with respect and really does have my best interest in mind. Each session Randy instructs me on what to do and I do it. It is comforting knowing that I can rely on his experience while I am working out. I have lost weight and inches....I have gained strength and have more energy just in one month!! I really do look forward to my next workout.

Best Place around to stay fit!

I have been going to Stayoung Fitness since it opened and used Mark for years before. I appreciate the positive attitude of all the trainers. The programs have greatly increased my fitness allowing me to not only mostly recover the use of my left arm but also improved my strength across the board. The results are I can better cope with lifting luggage, grandchildren, etc.

I travel a great deal. The trainers are wonderful accommodating my frequent changes of schedule.

Further, I believe the sincerely care about my health and are committed to help me live as fully as possible. At 66, I greatly appreciate this.

I would recommend Stayoung to anyone wanting to be more fit.

best physical training facility

best trainers I've ever had! Very flexible workouts-especially when your in the 50's bracket. Workouts include various methods for strengthing core,flexibility,cardio or" buffing up" (so you never get bored).Very fun atmosphere, but also disciplined.The trainers becomea very good motivating factor.My whole family wors out here(even my 13 year old).

Best personal trainers in Frisco

Ive been working out with my personal trainer, Alice for 8 weeks. First of all, she uses the full hour to train you. What I love most, is the way she trains. It is not about how much weight you can lift to build your muscles and tone your body, any trainer can do that. She is very innovative in the exersises. I have never experienced such an intense full body workout which uses more muscles in your body, therefore makes you stronger and healthier. All the trainers are wonderful, caring and a supportive team. The gym is very comfortable to workout at. This has been a very positive, motivating experience in my life in which I will continue to strengthen and tone my body with the help of Alice, the best trainer.

Became an over 40, weekend slug....

I was motivated by Alice's story (an excellent trainer who never yells at you - ask me nice and I will do almost anything) and decided to sign up along with my partner-in-crime (who would rather watch soap operas and had never touched a weight in her life) back in June. Six months now and still going! I have always been active throughout my younger, athletic days but never realized just how out of shape I really was as a over 40 weekend slug! Both of us have lost weight and gained muscle (though not looking to bulk up. Just make my clothes fit comfortably!) Every day is a new day which makes coming to the gym fun. Not the same reps and weights. Love the bootcamp and the womens fitness program! As mentioned in another review, the staff is very friendly and the friendships you develop in the groups make it fun to come back. We are all going thru the same pain..(it's only one hour out of your day. The hardest part is getting out of bed at 5am to make it to 6:30 class).. it's like going to a CHEERS bar where everyone knows your name! The cheaper, big box gyms don't motivate or care if you are there or not. They have your money. At Stayoung, they care that you make it and WILL call you if you are being missed. (Big brother is watching). It's worth the price! Try it, you'll like it!

Awesome Personal Training

Stayoung Fitness is a friendly place to work out. It is small and intimate and no matter what you are doing your always being taken care of. No matter what shape or size or fitness level you are Stayoung Fitness will help you reach your goals and beyond. What ever level of fitness you think your at they are always thinking two levels above that. So stop wasting your time at big facilities and come down to Stayoung Fitness in Frisco, Tx. I have various injuries and have always felt that I wasn't going to be able to reach my weight loss or muscle building goals, but training with Randy Young proved me wrong. I look foward to my training session daily. So if your looking for the best trainers in the Dallas area take the short trip to Frisco and train with the best. Thanks Randy your the best.

StaYoung Foods is the best GUILTLESS FOOD I HAVE EVER EATEN----OOH LA LA!

I have worked out with Randy and Mark for 3 years and everything they do is top notch. I am in a situation where I work out regularly but between my job and two kids I don't have enough time to cook healthy for me everyday. I am using the food service at StaYoung Fitness and I can't even begin to tell you how good the food is. Kathy is a phenominal chef, everything is homemade and tailored to each individuals liking. I told Randy and Kathy that I didn't believe the food was lowfat it takes so good but it truly is. The Asian Chicken Lettuce wraps could give P.F. Changs run for their money. You can pick it up at the gym or Kathy will bring it to you, whatever you need. I am truly impressed, I was so used to eating tasteless diet food for so long I actually look forward to eating now. I have been to several gyms and this rates A+ in my book They are very attentive to me personally and they help you with meal plans and weight control without being too strick and overbearing....You have to try this gym in the Frisco area...Easy to get to and very well priced!!!!!

Looking to improve your muscle tone? Then you must come to StaYoung!

I have been attending bootcamp and strength conditioning classes at StaYoung since May. I like the personalized attention and the variety in the classes. Randy has been my trainer and he is excellent! I would highly recommend StaYoung to friends and family. I have drastically improved my muscle tone and have lost pounds and inches!

StaYoung is not crowded like the gyms can be and people are here to improve themselves!

Pros: Small class size or personal training sessions available! Come at your time.

Beyond my expectations!

I lost about 60 pounds 2 years ago by walking in the Breast Cancer 3-Day and dieting with Jenny Craig. I managed to keep the weight off, but I noticed that I was not "in shape". There's a big difference between losing weight and toning up. I was what some people call "skinny fat". I didn't weigh a lot anymore but my BMI was through the roof! My percentage was still in the obese category. I decided to do something about it and signed up for the Frisco Fit Summer Challenge at StaYoung. Now, I had NEVER lifted a weight before in my 36 years, so I was nervous to say the least. Marc became my trainer, I explained my history to him and he said "We can work with anyone". Well, he was right!!! He was exactly the right combination of motivation, support, and encouragement that I needed. Those first couple of weeks were super tough, but I started to see results. As I soon as I would get tired or bored with a series, he would change it up! My BMI started to drop and I could actually see toned muscles on my legs and arms! Wow!! The challenge is now long over, but I continue to see Marc 3 times a week. I couldn't be more happy with StaYoung and the results that I have achieved there. Marc, and the whole crew, are absolutely wonderful and I will be forever in their debt.

I have been with Marc for 4 years. I have had had to have surgery on my wrist to correct a break that happened 10 years ago. Marc was able to modify my workouts to give me a chance to get the most from my time with him,I highly recommend StaYoug Fitness. StaYoug has several programs for whatever your fitness level.

Set a Goal, not a dream.

I have been ?working out? for years. I joined Balleys in Richardson, Curves Downtown Dallas, Sunstone Yoga in Dallas, Suzie Curtis Yoga in Addison, Pilates twice a week Downtown, The Girls Room Striptease dance class on Greenville ave ( ok does that one count? ) and even tied walking on weekends with my Husband. I am sure I have done more than these I can think of off the top of my head, but here?s the point? I just COMMITTED TO a 2 week program at Stayoung Fittness Personal Trainer and Personal Performance training gym in Frisco. The DIFFERENCE is the COMMITMENT!!!! The first thing they asked when I asked about their ?program? was ? when WAS the last time you were a size 8?? Seriously, I had to think. So I thought what the heck I?ll drive to Frisco, what have I got to lose off of my size 14 but SIZE? Well on the first day, I found out I really had NEVER WORKED OUT LIKE THIS BEFORE!!!! This is a goal ,not a gym. You set a goal, you commit, they hold you accountable for your time, your food intake, your nutrition, heck, they will even cook the food for you, if that is what it takes. OK, so I am on day THREE and have to tell you this time it is going to work, I have a fitness goal, a fitness program, a fitness team, a personal trainer, a yoga teacher, a kick boxing teacher, a group training program and a chef? but the difference here is I have an accountable GOAL! Don?t ?dream big?, set goals ( something with an actual check point) for great results, because they are not kidding, at Stayoung fitness and personal trainer, training in Frisco there are no excuses here, just results!

Pros: You are now accountable for results! Are you ready?

Cons: only one in Frisco , but worth the drive

Who are you talking to? That is what I thought on day one at this fittness gym. I am in the class too in the AM with the women's group and they really get a good work out. So if you are looking to make friends, get fit and have fun, come to the 6:30 AM women?s group at this gym. We are all in our 30?s and 40?s, have various stamina and weight goals, and have fun. They have a womens bootcamp too if you already have some stamina. You can keep trying places like Lifetime fittness in Frisco, but the owners of this gym at Stayoung fittness personal trainers and personal fitness actually came from there because they felt goals were better than dues. There are NO MONTHLY DUES HERE! Give them a try, if you are sitting at home trying to decide, then get in your car now and drive down for your personal goal fitness training today. It?s not just a gym, it?s a commitment to yourself!

Best Athletic Training Center in Frisco area

I've been to different facilities in the Frisco area and by far Stayoung Fitness is the best around. From the trainers to the atmosphere you can't find anything close. They have a variety of programs and best of all no membership fees. I'm sick of paying for a membership and not seeing results. Now I just pay for the program that I want and let the trainers get me to my goals. The owner, Randy Young, has an awsome staff and is really concerned about his clients results. I promise if you visit this facility you will not be dissapointed.
