On Sunday morning I went to the basement to find that the floor drain was NOT draining, it was backing up anytime we let water go down the pipes. We called Roto-Rooter and set up an appointment for Monday morning. Bright eyed and bushy tailed, the technician showed up. I was very impressed with my technician because of his knowledge and thoroughness in explaining what the cause of the problem was. He proceeded to explain how he was going to fix the problem and really made me feel important by taking me through the steps and showing me an example of a good level by showing me my neighbor's sewer drain. I appreciated his ability to include me and to teach me instead of ignoring me and just being huffy and wanting to get out of there. Thank you for such an excellent experience!

Who knew a trip to the basement to check the dryer would lead to the rescuing efforts of the Roto-Rooter knight in a white stallion (actually Chevy, I think). Anyhow, my roommates and I were frustrated and panicking with the backing up of water in the basement, because the water was coming IN/UP the floor drain... not OUT!? We were quite honestly afraid to use any water for fear that we would end up with a swimming pool in our basement (NOT what we wanted, especially at the start of winter)! Thank goodness for gas stations and hand sanitizer, plus the fact we only went 48 hours with out using water down the drain, you have to admit that is talent! We called Roto-Rooter and they were very helpful and friendly with our lack of knowledge on the drain/plumbing subject. On Monday our technician came bright and early, around 745 am. It was a very chilly morning for the last day of November. Talk about bright eyed and bushy tailed; the technician "Bill" didn't even finish his coffee before he got to my address. Now, how many people do you know that can function that early in the day without the assistance of their morning joe- what ever it may consist of? "Bill" was very helpful in explaining the problem we had going on. He explained step-by-step what he was going to do to fix our problem; he explained what caused these sorts of situations and showed me an example by viewing the neighbors drain trap; sure enough once he got started, with in about 20-30 minutes, "away went the problems down the drain," or should I say sewer line? "Bill" assured me that the problem was a "trap blockage" outside the house near the main sewer line. I admit, when he said "main sewer line" I was a little apprehensive about how much it could cost, and when he told me, it was not so bad. He "snaked" the line both away from the house and toward the house and then again away from the house. It was amazing; like someone just waved a magic wand and "poof" the problem was gone. Thank you Mr. Roto-Rooter "Bill" for rescuing us.

Very fast service! Technician was at my door within 1 hour of my call. I explained the problem (sewer backup when washing machine was on rinse cycle) He assessed the problem, fixed it and explained the cause to me within an hour! Very friendly, reliable tech!

I had never called Roto-Rooter before, but now they will be the first call I make the next time I have a plumbing problem. My kitchen skink drain was clogged with standing water in it. I had already used a gallon of drain opener and used my own 25 foot, powered drain auger as far I could, spend several hours of my time trying to fix it myself and we had guests coming over later that Saturday afternoon. I called Roto-Rooter?s 800 phone line. They dispatched my request to a local service. Within a just a few hours a Roto-Rooter service technician arrive at our house. He was friendly, professional, courteous and when right to work. Within 30 minutes my kitchen was flowing freely. My experience with Roto-Rooter far exceeded my expectations. From the moment I made the call, to the time the technician left my house communication with the was great, the service was timely, the overall interaction was extremely positive. Let?s face, when your drain is jammed up and you?ve got no where else to turn, it would be easy for any company to treat you however they wanted and charge you whatever they want. But this is not the case with Roto-Rooter. They service was exceptional and the price completely fair and it?s guaranteed. I would gladly call them again without hesitation.

They came at the appointment time and evaluated the problem. He then gave me a couple of options and we decided the best course of action. After only about 15 minutes we had the pipes cleared and were back in business.

We had very efficient and polite service. He informed us of our 30-warranty on the work that he did and gave us advice on how to avoid the problem we encountered.

I was very impressed with the Roto-Rooter's quick response to my service call. My technician, Keith, was very knowledgeable and worked with me to determine the most cost-effective repair for my leaking toilet. Keith even took the time to walk me through the repair as he completed the job. I would recommend Roto-Rooter and Keith for any future plumbing work.

The main line was clogged on our 85 year old home. They had some trouble getting to the clog but never gave up. They did a great job cleaning out the line. And I am confident I will not be having similar issues for years to come.

My husband was getting ready to leave for work. We'd just started laundry and could hear the sound of the water being sprayed around the room...only to go to the basement to find a pool surrounding the drain. We called and they were there within the hour. Our tech was professional and polite.. his name was Dan. Thanks for everything!

Roto-Rooter did great. We had a crawl space with limited accessibility that flooded. We were having trouble locating the cause for it and decided to call them. Mike R. came out and instantly greeted us with a warm welcome. He explained everything he was doing while he removed debris from the lateral line from our house. He then used a camera to find where a split in a pipe was under our house. He created a disk of what the camera picked up and his narrative for us to use for our insurance company and for the city of Ballwin. We will definitely use Roto-Rooter again, and specifically ask for Mike R. Thank you for all of your help in diagnosing our issue and for arriving no more than an hour after we called, even though it was late.

We moved into a new house, and the first day that we fully moved in the sewer backed up. I called several places, and the over the phone estimates were varying from 150-500+. I called Roto Rooter and the person who helped me was wonderful. She explained how the service call would be handled and set the expectation that someone would be there within the hour. They would give us a free estimate and, if we decide to go forward, do the work right then. When the technician arrived, he was also very knowledgable, and personable. He worked hard and consistant for the full hour and a half. When he was done, he showed us the debree that was causing the sewer to backup. He explained the warranty, and then even gave us a list of common causes of what blocks up the sewer lines.
I definately was not happy to have to call and get this repair done, but that is the inevitable. The important is that the job was done. and done right! And on top of that, it was done with professional prompt service.
All in all, I couldnt be happier to have chosen Roto Rooter as the company that performed our work. From the first phone call, to the technician leaving our home, the professional service is second to none. I WOULD DEFINATELY RECOMMEND YOUR COMPANY TO ANYONE!!!!!

I called Roto Rooter for a plumbing emergency. I had a tech on site within 2 hours. Unfortunately, the first tech could not solve the problem. The second tech, Bill Arand, did an excellent job. Problem solved. I highly recommend him.

I called Roto-Rooter at 7:30 on Monday morning about my clogged and leaking garbage disposer. Within three hours, Eric had arrived, installed a new disposer, and was out the door! I am very pleased with their service.
