Ratings_icons OVER PRICED, OVER RATED!!!!!

i cant say enough about this place! between some of the half dressed staff and porn on the plasma i wasn't sure if i was WORKING in a bar and grill or a strip club. the owner is a money hungry pig, the management staff is awful and it costs at least $100 a week just to work there. so please pay your tab cause if you walk out your server has to eat the costs. it is the most stressful working environment i have ever known and you have to be the "the ultimate character" just to survive that place. and fyi, the $5 patron, AIN'T PATRON!!

The Ultimate Bar and Grill unfortunately is not the place to be. My husband & I was there Sunday evening to watch the game, have dinner and a couple of drinks. Our waitress (Meshawn) was very pleasant, but we were placed on the stage area next to a table of rowdy women, they were drunk and must have been friends of some of the employees at the bar. I asked several times to be seated elsewhere & my request went unnoticed. Things got so out of hand that my husband had to ask the women to chill out because of the small area we were in. One waitress (Tamika) in particular was extremely rude; after advising that we would like to change tables, she shrugged her shoulders and kept befriending the wild group of women. After being hit in the face with one of the women dreads, and totally affended by them shaking their rears over my food; the DJ saw my frustation and called one of them up, I don't know what was discussed, but I do know that he calmed them down! The Sad part about it all is that the security officer was standing there the entire time watching and I'm sure a manager some where was aware of this. People on the floor were shaking their heads. Not only was the crowd annoying, but the food was tasteless. I ordered the seafood platter and the food that was named on the menu was not on my plate! I never saw a fried oster anywhere on my plate. On our way out the door waitress(Tamika) made it her personal business to tell us to have a nice day (very sarcastically). It bothered me sick that we actually stayed and finished watching the game. My husband and I traveled from Jonesboro, Ga to check out this place and left with pure disappointment. The place is pretty to look at, but that's all. If you are looking for a nice sports bar, you may want to keep looking. Check out JR Cricketts (Had a great time there)!

Ratings_icons Doomed to Fail

Talk around town that this owner management team offered a professional with management experience a position to manage this "Sleezy Squeeze Inn" and confirmed wages and start time and within hours called the person and took back the position. Reason: restructuring. What can I say. Never been there, however if the rumors are true, this place is doomed to fail because of inept management.

Ratings_icons Another Sports club

The name sports bar is fitting because there is a bar and TV's but somehow the club atmosphere has creeped in and now true sports fans are out numbered by the clubbers. Still cool spot and decent bar entrees.

Ratings_icons .25 cent wings

CSMobileUser4

I'm actually at the Ultimate Bar & Grill now waiting on the manager Moe; After waitress stated that I wasn't able to take wings after ordering 20 wings while dining in. I was only able to eat 8; As a customer I asked for takeout box since I was not able to all of wings. Waitress stated that there were no carryout boxes w/ deal; so I requested to speak with mgr. Moe; Since Mgr Moe never came to table. I politely asked waitress to bring Xtra napkins bc I wasn't about to leave 12 xtra wings that I'm paying for to be dumped in garbage; waitress told Mgr Moe about situation w/ napkins in hand. Mgr Moe snatched Napkins from waitress. After noticing how upset I was getting, Coward Mgr. Moe sent someone other than waitress to bring napkins. I politely wrapped my 12 Xtra wings that I purchased in the napkins and left restaurant. I WAS a frequent customer b4 today; No great customer service/Mgr Moe was terrible: I will be contacting owner AL.

Ratings_icons Great atmosphere and Unwind spot in Eastpoint Area

shuzapassion4me

I attended the Industry Night at The Ultimate with Greg Street and it was an AWESOME event! I had the wings and a few martini's on Monday and I must admit they were very good. The wings were not cooked to hard or soft.. The sauce was just spict enough and with my blue cheese dressing.. I was in for a great Monday treat.. The atmospher was one of FUN, FUN, FUN and it made you want to party.

I have been to the the bar before on a Friday evening after work and found the atmosphere to be most relaxing. The staff was very helpful and attentive. Now the drinks.. Oh my... ok ladies the Key Lime martini and the oatmeal cookie were most delicious.. Now I tried to be a BIG girl and have the owners special can't remember the name I think its Octane.. But whoa.. That's a BIG, BIG girl's drink...
Now my food.. I had the fried lobster and that was my first time ever having something so tasty as an appetizer.. It was something different and I will have it again...Now my girlfriend had the salmon salald, and she claimed it was all the rave.. She told me I must try it the next time... For my meal I had a steak and it was cooked to perfection along with a loaded baked potato. Umm Umm good! Needless to say I had a great experience at the Ultimate and i will return for another event Industry Night or Jazz Night.
For a bar that hasn't been in the area a long time I think they are doing very well with keep the energy high and making people want to come back..
Summer is coming and it looks like they have a small patio that should be loads of fun...
Keep up the good work and to the owner of the spot.. Kudos... For bringing another great spot to the Eastpoint area!

Pros: All the flat screens, Great DJ, and Friendly staff

Cons: Parking and I HATE lines

Ratings_icons Ok place, if nothing else to do

oliviasumlin

I have gone to the Ultimate Bar and Grill, numerous times usually because there is nothing else to do near this area. The first time was with some girlfriends. They did not enjoy themselves, but we did enjoy the free drinks :-). It was crowded and the crowd was mixed with people that seemed to be the same age as my uncles as well at mid 20?s. The layout needs some work, as it is not suited to handle crowds at the entrance. The waiters/bartenders have been descent.

The last visit was on 2/19/09 for the Wednesday Night live Jazz. I was disappointed. The band appeared to have never played together. The lead singer was no where near ready to lead. They played a couple of nice oldies and the lead singer pretty much demolished each one. The snow crabs were on sale for $5 for a pound. They were really small and the favor was descent but nothing to rush back for. They advertized $3 mixed drinks but only had like 3 to choose from. Let?s say, I do not plan to give up another Wednesday for this event, would rather stay home and read a book.

I must say, I am happy to see something like this in our community but I was expecting so much more than what they are offering. I actually liked the atmosphere at TGI Friday?s better, just down the street.

Pros: Free drinks

Cons: Parking, Medicore food

Ratings_icons The Ultimate Letdown

Do not waste your time, I saw half the workers out back smoking cigarettes and having a grand old time. Poor layout, inadequate waiting area, slow understaffed kitchen. Some servers are very adept while others are downright awful. I hope they have a process to filter out poor performers.
I would not recommend this place to anyone, I was dragged there by group of people.

Pros: Close to 285. New building.

Cons: Poor Service.

Ratings_icons We Keep the Change

britelites

I went to the Ultimate on Wednesday night for the $5 crab leg special (1 lb) I'd heard about on the radio. I checked their menu out online and decided to try out the food. I arrived and the place had a few patrons and I sat at the bar to wait for my friend. There were only 2 bartenders working when I got there and service was slow. It seemed the bartenders were in a funk like they really didn't want to be there. It has been my experience that the best service is at the bar but that was not the case tonight. I can say that I have been spoiled by service at other B&G's (J. R. Crickets right across the street for one) and in area clubs but the service received here was lackluster at best. Other patrons also voiced their complaints. The bar was not full but one of the manager's ended up taking my order. The place was not packed yet but I believe they must have sent someone to Massachusetts to get those crab legs. I could have gone to Publix, bought a fryer and crab legs and boiled them myself. They finally came and it must be the time of year because that was a small 1 lb cluster. So now, I 've experienced lackluster service, long wait for food in an uncrowded restaurant and then the bartender's shift was over and she asked us to pay. My friend paid by debit card and I paid in cash. When she brought me my change, all she gave me were bills and not my coin change and then walked away. I have a problem when service people effectively "steal" my money by pockeing the change. I asked for one of the managers and he told me they "round up the amount on cash sales". WHAT??? In other words, you steal the change from all your cash customers? I asked then why didn't they round down and give me back a dollar since it was Forty cents. I told him that was the wrong practice to have and although it was only Forty Cents, it was the principal and I wanted my money. Needless to say, I won't be going back to here again and I wouldn't recommend it.
