I would not go back to this place. I questioned the nurse who took my blood pressure since my blood pressure had never been that high. Also, when she listened to my lungs she didn't put the stethescope under my 2 shirts. I am a nurse and know that the only way to listen accurately is to put the stethescope under the clothes. I spoke with the doctor about this and she brushed it off. Fast forward a month and I needed a refill rx on a med that is usually perscribed every 6 months but since I was in a month ago I was asking for a refill. They would not refill it unless I came in for a follow up appt. The same thing happened with my husband, different med (no blood work needed, not a pain med). They would not refill either of ours because we had only been in once a month prior to this. This is borderline fraud since they want to see you first before any refills. I think certain refills a person should be seen for (pain meds, antibiotics, meds that require blood work) but for something I have been on for 5 years and have had no issues and my previous physician (moved out of area) always refilled if within a certain amount of time (6months) I think is ridiculous. They want your money and the nurses and docs are not the most quailified.

Avance Care is the perfect place for family medical care. Whether my family has a need for early, late or weekend care, they truly provide World Class service for families. There are not many medical facilities that provide easy access to Medical records, online appointments and care for the entire family all in one place. What a nice convenience! With the early and extended hours, it's the place to come versus the typical busy Urgent Care facility. The doctors are very competent and the staff is always friendly and professional. I would recommend this facility to everyone who is looking for professional medical care.

This is by far the worse doctor's office I have ever been to. I went in 4 weeks ago, because I was completely voiceless and my throat was killing me. The NP told me that there was nothing she could prescribe that it would just have to take its course and after 14 days at the most my voice will be completely back. Well, 4 weeks later, my voice still isn't completely back. After consulting with a coworker who also lost her voice she told me that her doctor (who is obviously at a different practice) gave her an anti inflamitory steriod to reduce the inflamation that was causing her to lose her voice. That sounds pretty practical. So I called Avance care and of course, would they write me a prescription? NOPE. "I would need to come back in" and pay ANOTHER co pay. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR'S OFFICE! All they want is your money; they don't care about you. With the economy as bad as it is, go to a different doctor's office; they don't deserve your business and you don't deserve the horrible and frustrating experience that you WILL have.

I came in last week because something is very wrong with my throat. I don't have insurance. I told the doctor and the NP that I had just gotten a strep test that was negative so I didn't need another. They gave me a strep test without telling me anyway and charged me for it. She said nothing was wrong with me, period, and sent me away after charging me $95. I have looked at all my sister's and friends throats, and they do not look like mine. I have an infection in my throat. What am I supposed to do? People know their own bodies. I am not a hypochondriac (I haven't felt a need to see a doctor in years)-- there is definitely something wrong. What am I supposed to do? Go to another doctor and pay them another $100 for them to shine a light down my throat and charge me to say "nothing is wrong"? The doctor treated me like I was stupid and expected me to dumbly accept her answer.
Advice? Listen to your patients. Especially since more and more people are paying out of pocket now. Thank goodness capitalism is still somewhat alive in this country, because dissatisfied patients are patients that don't come back and tell everyone they know.

Good place to go for primary care. I've been there to get treated for minor niggles, and go to Dr. Adeyina. Never had any problems so far. It also helps that they are open beyond 5 p.m.

I started going to Avance care when they opened near our house. Initially it was because of the convenience of their hours (they're open past 5pm every day, and on weekends!)

However, they've also done very neat things with their website! I can schedule appointments, ask the receptionist questions, and peek in to see how long their wait is for walk-ins, all from my desk at work without having to interrupt what I'm doing!

The doctors and nurses there are friendly and kind, and have always been very respectful and efficient. I've never had to wait 30-45 minutes just to get called into a room like I have at many doctor's offices.

I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone without reservation!
