This is my favorite sushi place. I have tried almost all of the other sushi places in the greater milwaukee area and can't even find one that is comparable, much less better! The service is always excellent! The staff is SUPER friendly and the food is outstanding! The prices are very reasonable. Must trys: California crunch, OMG roll, Kamikaze roll. This is a great place for anyone- they have plenty of options for the non-fish-eaters out there that are also VERY tasty!

As being a first time customer at Wasabi I was hoping for a great atmosphere and great food. I was very disapointed. The menu items were very over priced for the quality of food that you were given. The food tasted as if it was microwaved. The sushi rolls were covered in sauces.

Our server I believe his name was Scott was hitting on my girlfriend right infront of me. His behavior and manners were uncalled for. I was very displeased with my dinner at Wasabi and wouldn't advise anyone to eat here.

FANTASTIC!!!

This restaurant knows sushi! I have never had such fresh fish in the midwest. The last time i had this quality of fish was when i went out to Jersey for a business trip. Most restaurants in WI like to pack on the rice and provide the thinnest slice of fish possible. Besides the great tasting sashimi, the rolls are impressive. The have a huge menu or rolls to choose from as well as a great kitchen menu. So if your about uncooked fish, they got a great choice of chicken and steak.

So the service is awesome. The waitress was more than glad to help me with the menu and recommended some great rolls. They're always on top of things and definitely know how to make you feel welcome.

The environment is very chill with some pretty decent music. Its VERY trendy and its definitely a place where you can sit for hours and just catch up with a friend.

Now for you drinkers, their bar isnt the greatest. Very limited on with what liquor they have, but they can still make some good drinks with what they have. They have a really fun Sake-tini menu and have a good variety of wine.

Overall, the food, environment, and service is great.

ENJOY!

Business Response:

I am sorry and I will behave. I really apperciate that you have tried Wasabi. I deeply apologize for my behavior. Setting up a new intern gives me so much stress, without knowing I was misbehaving. I will try to improve myself. Please let me know if I am out of line again. One thing I want you to understand, I am not disrespecting my work staff, cause I know they are here for me and for Wasabi. from the big guy from Wasabi.

Two friends from MSI and I chose Wasibi since the 2 star sushi joint (Benihana) didn't offer the all you can eat special any more....I am an avid sushi fan and have enjoyed it from east to west coast. I am a Chicago native so I have plenty of access to sushi in the city.

This place ROCKS! The chef (owner) was personable and provided great conversation at the sushi bar. His creations were a work of art and offered some of the freshest and finest flavors I have ever had.

A definite MUST if you enjoy sushi....Although our bill was 3x's more than Benihanna would have been, I will be going here from now on....it is well worth spending a little more for this kind of quality.

Thanks for a fantastic dining experience!
