I have nothing but great things to say about Martial Arts International. Our son has been attending the school for 3 years now, and has loved his experience. We have been very pleased with the owners, the instructors and the other families associated with MAI. We are loyal to the family who has helped to teach our son discipline, honor and integrity. I highly recommend this Karate school to any family considering Martial Arts for their child, and their rates are very fair and competitive with other sports in the area.

What a wonderful place for kids and adults alike! The children learn more than just Karate. For instance, they learn how to get along well with the other children!!! They learn respect, both for adults and their peers. (Much needed today) They are so cute in their gi's (uniforms) and they all seem to have so much fun. The owner, Lauri, seems right at home there. She has a way with those kids. Even when, rarely, she has to discipline someone, she speaks so softly and explains to them what they did wrong and why they shouldn't do it again. They all seem to really respect her. (Why not, since she is a 2nd degree black belt.) All the teachers there really love those kids and the kids love them. What a wonderful place. Too bad it isn't mandatory for all children to attend something like this!!!!

We have been taking karate lessons at Martial Arts International for over a year now. The senseis are great teachers for kids and adults alike. Our kids love the reward system in place and the opportunities to earn new belts. MAI doesn't just focus on karate, but they focus on character training as well.

Our son has trained with this establishment for five years. It is a professional yet family oriented establishment. The staff is an asset to our growing youth. The students are taught discipline with the utmost integrity. The advantages the children receive are the classic traits that aide with self respect. All venues of training work together inside the training facility and in the youths personal world. They are taught self defense with clear and concise judgement. You'll will be pleased with the results.
Satisfied patron, Shadae Young

My husband has been training here for years. I actualy started training as well until I got pregnant with our first child. The sensei's are very friendly and not intimidating. They're willing to help you learn the best you can. It's a very family oriented atmosphere. They make you feel like family. I can't wait until our little one is old enough to take karate lessons from here.

My three kids started taking Karate at Martial Arts International about a year and a half ago and we absolutely love it there! It's a family owned business that understands the hectic schedules that parents deal with and respond by offering multiple classes for each rank at a variety of times, so it's never a chore to try and fit Karate in with everything else we have going on. All the Sensei's are knowledgeable and it's so obvious that they love Karate, they love the kids, and they love teaching! They emphasis respectfulness and being a well-rounded person, not just seeing how fast you can get your next belt! I have recommended them before to people interested in getting their kids (or themselves) into Karate, and I will continue to do so!
