.

I have been to the Texas Cafe a few times but after our service the last visit, I will not return.

We went late night/early morning after a night out. The cafe was not very busy, maybe five tables at most and a few people around the bar. It took them a long time to get our order, then our drinks. After that it took almsot TWO hours to get our food despite complaining and urging and what not. Supposedly the manager had left for the evening? That doesn't make much sense to me.

The food is always good, typical cafe with good pricing. But not worth the experience of not getting any service. The excuse given was that they were very busy. Which was obviously not the case when there were only a few tables occupied in the whole restaurant. Being lied to also did not help with the experience. It seemed once we got the whole story was that there was only one person in the kitchen and the one waitress who seemed too new to be able to handle orders and what not.

When we spoke to the guy tending the cashier, we definitely complained. He was gracious enough to take care of our order on the house. That at least helped but still the service overall was awful
