Let me start by giving you the good things I have to say about this place. The people are pleasant. They smile and nod and do all the right things to placate you.

Other than that this place is terrible. The sales people lie. I know that's not uncommon but about things that are easy to disprove? Really? For example, the sales person tried to tell me that the RX-8 would get about 30 MPG....try 20 hwy.

Then there's the financing department. We were trading a truck in and told the finance person what we thought our trade in value was and asked that they call and confirm. They said they did. They did not. Three months, threatening calls from Toyota, and mark against our credit later, Oak Tree tells us we owe them $4k or they want their car back. Furthermore, the finance person repeatedly messed up paper work that we needed to resign and actually told me that he wouldn't wait for my husband to get off work to sign, he'd just PHOTOCOPY HIS SIGNATURE! Also, on a side note, I've mentioned it every time I go in and told the finance guy when I signed the paperwork...MY NAME IS SPELLED WRONG IN YOUR SYSTEM.

Then there's the service department that is absolutely worthless. They do work you've not been quoted for and then try to charge you for it. And the extended warranty I bought? Well to get any Warranty work done starts with a $135 evaluation fee! Furthermore, I bought my 2004 RX-8 in September of 2007 and only just now found out that they haven't done the MAJOR recall that was issued in Ocotober of 2006. You'd think that would get seen before the car makes it to the sales floor. As if to add insult to injury, when they returned my car to me today they had run my MazdaSpeed bumper up onto the cement curb.

All in all, this is a terrible place to get a car. The icing on the cake for me though is that this is the first dealership I've ever dealt with that has never asked me to fill out a customer satisfaction survey. Go figure. Well all of this will be making it to their corporate office.

These people would not give us a quote when we went to buy a car. They asked us for the price but would not make their best offer. Without a best offer from them, we decided to go elsewhere. This type of sales tactic is really stale and uncalled for.

While looking for a car I got myself into trouble buying it from them. It had a lot of things pending which I told them in advance and next day. Till contract cancellation was valid, I was promised these things would be taken care of. Since then I am making trips there with no results.

The manager is rude, of no use & is never on desk...from salesman to manager each person won't mind giving a completely different set of information.

We thought that the rates were good and even confirmed that the advertised rates are for LX and not LX-SV. We only realized it that we were being cheated after a while.

I first visited Steven Creeks Mazda because my Mazda 3 was showing a WARNING light... Mrs Duvall (Krista) took care of me; she was very professional: fast and easy. I was in and out within 15 minutes with a loan car. The next day I picked up my car - fixed and washed. Mrs. Duvall noticed my dashboard was cracked so she told me she will order a new dashboard...THAT'S BEING PROACTIVE! I requested a RX-8 for a loan car but Mazda doesn't offer RX-8 for loaners; She asked if I would like a Maita...:-)))) Thanks to Mrs Duvall I will be buying my 3rd Mazda from Steven Creeks :)))

Next I needed some payments I could afford and the salesperson told me they just send it to a bunch of Credit Unions and let them fight it out. They came back with a great rate and everything worked out. The only thing I didn't like was they didn't want my old car as it had 280k miles. They told me to donate it which is Ok . I mean I don't buy a lot of cars but they seemed Ok and I'm happy.

I found my car leaking some fluid on Saturday and made an appointment with Oak Tree Mazda. My year model 2004 often has problems with the filter leaking so I hoped it was that. I night-dropped it the day before and early in the morning I got a call from Tim. Tim told me that my car was had been severly damaged on the side of the leak and repainted and repaired but some internal parts are squeezed where the oil leaks. I was shocked and started an argument with him as I am accident free for 250000 miles and got the car brand new. He pulled a bit back about details but was insisting the car was repaired. At least so he said the bumper was repainted. Now you have to know I hand wax my car and park it away from others so it doesn't get dents. I got it brand new. I got really upset about this lying in my face.I rushed to the dealer and got my car without service. I was extremely upset about their lying. Later I got a call from Alan the service manager. He excused and offered a free inspection for the leak. I asked him why I was told this story anyways when they don't know where the leak is from and told him about the citysearch reviews they have here. He told me it was to justify the cost for checking it out. Arggghh!!!! No one ever spoke about cost! Of course it costs money to find the leak!!!!! I am the first to understand that honest work costs something but honesty is nothing that is celebrated at Oak Tree.
In any case I went to Menlo Mazda. They certified the car is in tip top shape as it should be. The leak was from a oil filled motor mount which they fixed under warranty. The car never had a body damage either.
I spent 400$ with Menlo for "Spa" like services, like accelerated tune up and some fuel injection cleaning. This is how business is done not lying, scaring and gauging customers like Oak Tree does. As others have said be warned about the service department at Oak Tree. They are the worst!!!!!

I bought my Mazda 3 from them in 2004. I have always taken it in for regular tune ups and once when I needed real service. I have always--always!--received horrible customer service, consisting of:
major attitude problems,snootiness, rudeness,insane pricing,poor reports

To make a long story short, I was once told I needed new tires, when mine were only a few months old. I had them checked at 3 tire dealers, who told me I did not, in fact need new tires. Wehn I asked Oak Tree about this, they told me, basically, it wa sa subjective thing.
Basic maintenance (where they look to make sure everything is working well) costs WAY more than other places.

I took my car in last week for my 60,000 service, nothing was found wrong, all they did was check everything, and it cost nearly $700.00!! For WHAT?! After telling them they had my wrong number (for the 50th time,) they still never called my correct number to tell me the car was ready.

When I got my car home (it was a Saturday, end of the day), I noticed a wheel cover missing. I called them on Monday and told them, got attitude on the phone from 4 different people, could not speak to a manager, then was told to bring it in and they'd replace it free of charge. They were supposed to call me when the wheel cover came in, as they had to order it. They never called. I called to see if the part was there a few days later, and was told it was. So I took it in as instructed. Once again, I was not greeted. I was ignored (and there was no one else in line). This has happened often there. Then, when the guy at the weird stand (there were 5 other workers there at the time, all ignored me too) finally (without looking up from his computer) asked what I needed, I told him, and EVERYONE there gave me attitude.

then, as he was popping the cap on my tire, he actually accused me of lying about it!!!!!!
