Camp Bow Wow is a fantastic place to take your dogs! The staff is friendly and it's obvious they care about my dog - always know their names. They even throw birthday parties for the dogs! It is always very clean - much cleaner than a lot

This was my dog's third stay at Camp Bow Wow in Nashville. She was there last week while my husband and I were on vacation. On her next to last day at Camp Bow Wow I called to check on her. They reported that she had not been eating her

If you are looking for awesome staff to watch after your dog then Camp Bow Wow is the place!!! We've been taking our dog for a little over a year now with no regrets. They always greet us with big smiles and they always know my dog's name, he even got a report card!!! The staff is very easy to talk to and you'll find that most of them have lots of experience, they even have a trainer now!
The cameras are great (though they can be addictive). I work long hours so it's such a relief when I see my puppy playing and running free. Not to mention how relaxing the evenings have been when he comes home all tuckered out!!

The staff is excellent. They ARE nice and ARE concerned with each dogs' well-being. If the staff "hated" dogs, then why would they work there? Money is not everything. This job is a "hot job." Not many people are really able to get lucky enough to get this job, and the ones who do are truly fortunate and truly grateful to have such a position to work with animals. Animal Lovers have these jobs. They wake up and come into work at early AM hours to ensure the dogs are feed, and taken out and have all the time to play. They are also there early to accept AM drop offs for the parents who are heading to work early and need a place for their dogs to stay and be taken care of during the day while they are at work. And yes there are live webcams so you can check up on your dog through out the day. Parents even drop off their dogs with "lunches" so their dog can have a meal to tide them over until they get home. They stay open until 7 to allow enough time for your dog to be picked up from day care or boarding. The staff knows each dog by name not for some study that when you appear through the door they "act" like they like your dog or have been paying attention to them, but because they really do know your dog and your dogs personality so well that they even know the smallest details about them. And as much as they donate and help shelters and others people still choose to be so rude and heartless to post such hurtful things about this business, and not just the business but the heart of the business, which is the staff who work day in and day out to ensure your dog has a good time and is well taken care of while you are at work or out of town.

I would recommend Camp Bow Wow's services any day to anyone. The owners and the staff are excellent and I would trust no one else with my babies.

I have read two complaints on here. I can only speak to my experience. I have been going to Camp Bow Wow since they opened. My dogs have been to many of the dog day camps around town.
However, I just have to mention the name and they get excited. They are excited on the drive there and on the drive home. That isn't true on the other dog day camps.
The staff remember my dogs names even the people I never met.
I have watched them on cam (yes it is free). There are a ton of dogs but everytime I have watched there has been a human in the area with them.
It is the cleanest (and nicest smelling) dog day care I have found.

Two last thoughts, as a whole, this has been the easiest company to deal with regarding my changing schedule. A simple call can get you overnight stay. They are willing to work with your schedule because they open up earlier and stay open later including weekends. The staff has always had a smile on their face. They seem to truly enjoy what they do. Even with all that barking.

If your dog enjoys going then that says a lot about the place. My dogs love it. I am sure yours will as well.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEWHERE TO TAKE YOUR DOG FOR OVERNIGHT OR DAYCARE, TAKE HIM/HER TO CAMP BOW WOW!!!!

I've been taking my dog to "camp' for about 3 months. The staff is great. My dog goes about twice a week, and he LOVES it. He gets to play with other dogs, and I have fun watching him on the web cam. By the time we get home after work, he's exhausted.

The staff is great. They all know my dog by name, and they know that he's mine. I don't have to tell them who I'm there for when I pick him up. They know.

On Valentine's Day, the campers got Valentine cards from the other dogs and some treats in a bag. Nice touch.

I've been really pleased with the service at Camp Bow Wow, but here's the thing that clinched it for me. Recently, my dog was bitten by another dog. It wasn't a fight; they were just playing. Things happen when you have big teeth and claws. My dog wasn't hurt badly (just a little puncture wound on his leg). The staff at Camp Bow Wow called me immediately to let me know what happened, they took him to the vet just to make sure everything was OK, paid the vet bill, paid for the antibiotic the vet prescribed, AND gave my dog two free visits for his trouble!

I could not be more pleased with the care and attention my pet receives, and I highly recommend Camp Bow Wow.

Pros: The best animal care I've experienced

Cons: What are the drawbacks?

.

Camp Bow Wow is truly the best boarding/day care facility I've ever taken a pet to. I'm a law student, and I didn't want my puppy to have to suffer through exams with me, so I took her here as an experiment. The staff was great, and (as always) took extra care to make sure she settled in OK and got along with the other dogs. (And the first day is free, so there's absolutely no risk to see if it's going to work for you and your dog.) Now, as soon as she figures out where we are, she practically drags me inside (and she only weighs 10lbs!). (If only I could get that excited about studying...)

The boarding service is great too. Unlike other places, where you have to pay extra for "playtime" or else your dog is stuck alone in a kennel all day, your dog is out and playing with other dogs (and the staff) all day. Just take a look at the Camper Cams, and you'll see the staff constantly checking on/playing with the dogs.

I've taken pets to boarding and day care facilities in other states and to one other in Nashville, and, hands down, this one is the best. You (and your dog) will not be disappointed!

Pros: Service, location, cleanliness, love & attention, happy & exhausted dogs at the end of the day

.

This is my favorite place to take my 2 dogs for boarding and daycare. Most places will charge you extra if you want the boarding dogs in daycare also, but not here- it's all the same thing. You can even get online and watch your pups playing through the "camper cams" and it really does get addicting. They know my dogs names when I walk in, and the dogs are absolutely exhausted when they get home in the afternoon. I also like that you can get 2 days of daycare when you board them for one night. We will drop them off friday morning on the way to work and not pick them up until saturday night, and it is just the charge for one night! Nowhere else does that, they will charge you for 2 days. Hands down the best place and I have tried out probably 4 other ones! So glad you are here, and in town for those of us that don't live in franklin!
