Purchased new unit from Hammocks 10/09 and kept under service contract. Hammocks forgot to service first summer. I had to call them in August. They said just wait till fall. Unit died 5/12. First tech said nothing they did, didn't look at system and then told me I'd have to decide if was going to pay for his visit. I asked him to leave and had another tech sent out. He said, "Who installed this unit? Horrible job. 5 leaks, wrong filter in (they serviced 4 weeks earlier), and no one has ever cleaned the pump. Company sent another tech out to repair and while repairing one leak inside wall (6th leak may or may not have been Hammocks fault it was leaking depending on how hard they yanked on pipes when installing unit-I paid them $300 to repair this) set the inside of my wall on fire. They put the fire out with the garden hose. Hammocks refused to do anything about the fire/water damage. 5 total visits to my house to repair. 5 half days of work off to let them in. Leak in wall is fixed on my dime, and another $500 to repair the fire and water damage. Use this company at your own risk.

These guys did an excellent job. Called Monday, estimate over the phone, they came out the next morning and did the job.

Price was the cheapest of places called.

I gave them the wrong serial number of the board that was bad and they came back out the next day with the right board at no additional charge.

    Message from Hammock's AC, Inc.

There is an itemized list of the 16 points included in the inspection on our website Hammockshvac.com

Any furnace over 10 years old should be inspected every year. Due to the age of the system there is a threat of gas leaks of carbon monoxide. Carbon monoxide has been called the "silent killer" because it is an odorless, tasteless and colorless gas. Because carbon monoxide can kill without inhabitants of a home or building even knowing there is a problem, carbon monoxide alarms are highly recommended in addition to taking proper precautions to prevent carbon monoxide from accumulating. Your furnace can be a source of this and leaks can be prevented!

    More about Hammock's AC, Inc.

One of our more popular services is the service contract which includes 2 visits to your home. This package is the best value. The customer pays the first visit; we come and perform a 16 point inspection of the unit in operation at that time (i.e. the furnace in the winter and A/C in the summer). We include a standard 1" filter with each visit and during the year you are under contract should anything malfunction you get 10% off parts and labor. For those of you looking to sell your home or just interested in having one visit to your home, we offer the One Time Special or a Combo Inspection. In a One Time Special we come out and perform the 16 point inspection on your furnace OR air conditioning and replace a standard 1" filter. For a Combo Inspection we come out and do the inspection on your full system, air conditioning AND furnace with the replacement of any 1" filters needed.
