Amalfi is a great date spot. It is a great location right on La Brea, small and good Italian food. This is a place where you can hide in the background and enjoy your company.

Right on La Brea the Amalfi restaurant has a nice: " ambience " and great food. The manager and partial owner, Francesco Grillo is from Milano and he and his father have owned restaurants for the last 30 years or so. Great cusine, and priced accordingly.

Amalfi is warm and inviting and has a small outside area to sit in.
The waitstaff has a good vibe and are very attentive.
The pumpkin ravioli with the braised short rib are to die for. The sauce is incredible, I order it every time I eat here.
PROS: Great food
CONS: They don't deliver anymore.
